THE SOFT BREEZE BLEW THROUGH ELISA'S BLONDE HAIR WHILE SHE STOOD ON THE BALCONY, her warm green eyes stared out at the view of her backyard. Downstairs was her fiancรฉ with his brothers and her two best friends, Joe and Kevin. She had left the three brothers to do forced therapy during a drinking game; she wrote the questions and placed them in a bowl for the boys before she went up the stairs.

When the band first split up, Elisa was the one who tried to stay in touch with Joe and Kevin, but slowly yet eventually, her two best friends just... disappeared, lost contact with her and moved on with their lives. She'd admit that at first, she was pretty upset that they just lost contact with her, moving on with their lives without saying a word after everything they went through as kids, and during the period of time where she was angry with them, she didn't want to know anything about them. But then, her anger turned to sadness and she missed her best friends, the old days where they were just kids that loved music and now, everything was different.

"Eli?"

Elisa didn't need to look over to know who it was and out of the corner of her eye, she watched as her best friend awkwardly stood next to her, not saying a word as silence filled between them.

"Where's Joe and Nick?" Elisa finally asked softly, breaking the horrible silence between them.

"Downstairs talking, Joe took the breakup the hardest," Kevin explained softly.

Elisa nodded, remembering a few times where Joe would stop by her place a couple of times when the Jonas Brothers first broke up and she spent the day, comforting him till... he just lost contact with her.

"I'm sorry."

Elisa slowly moved her head to look at Kevin. "For what?" She asked, even though she already knew the answer.

"Losing contact with you, not bothering to call or text you." Kevin explained. "I don't know why I did it. Guess I was just... hurt,"

Elisa looked back at the view, her warm green eyes shined with a bit of sadness in it. "I think we were all hurting, Kev." Elisa told him, he nodded in agreement before she decided to continue. "I guess, I was a bit mad at you and Joe for losing contact at first. But now? I don't know how I feel about that but... I do miss you guys, where it was just the four of us hanging out, like the old days."

"I miss the old days too." Kevin agreed softly.

Elisa nodded and swallowed the lump feeling in her throat, "I missed you guys, Kev, I really did." She said.

"I missed you too, Eli." Kevin says.

Elisa stepped away from the view and pulled her best friend into a much-needed hug. Kevin didn't hesitant to hug his best friend โ€” the best friend who's like a little sister to him as well. The two then pulled away and Kevin eyed the engagement ring on her finger that Nick gave her.

"So, you and Nick?" Kevin asked.

Elisa chuckled softly, "Yeah, you guys were right. I guess, me and Nick do like each other. Come on, I think we all need a little therapy session."

The next thing they knew was that they were having their therapy session again in the form of a drinking game. Joe got the question 'Is there anyone you hold resentment too?' and he did have one.

"You mean, the ballerina that kept talking about your small penis?" Kevin asked, sending himself, Nick, and Elisa into a laughing fit at the memory.

So, while Joe was complaining about the ballerina, Kevin, Nick, and Elisa were laughing really hard at the memory and eventually, Joe laughed in on the laughter. It felt good to get some stuff off their chests and just laugh together again. There was definitely a magic that they'd love to feel again and maybe this time, they could just focus on being brothers, best friends.

This time, they were going to focus on being a family.

And they were going to share their story.
