When Miss Peregrine informed Bea and Enoch that the former would have to go with Emma, Olive, Millard, Bronwyn and the twins to go and retrieve Jacob Portman who was Abe's grandson, to say Enoch was peeved was an understatement. Enoch's favourite thing about being stuck in 1943 was that the two were sixteen and could lounge around in his room in there 1940s style pyjamas for most the morning. Or at least until Miss Peregrine dragged them out of his room, but today their peacefulness was ruined by the arrival of Jacob Portman. So, with lots of groans which were returned with soft kisses from Bea, she finally got ready and left with the other six.

The seven children were currently hidden around the 2016 version of there home as they tried to find Jacob.

As Bea was hidden behind one of the only standing doorways she heard Emma shout "Abe!" Before footsteps, a grunt and then a thud was heard. Bea made made her was way to where they heard the thud and apparently so did the others, eventually the seven were surrounding the unconscious boy.

"What now?" Millard, the invisible boy asked.

"Bronwyn, pick him up we'll have to take him to the loop entrance ourselves." Emma stated which made the others nod and Bronwyn to follow her orders by picking the boy up over her shoulder. When they got to the loop entrance Bronwyn dropped the now conscious Jake making him stand and look at them in shock and awe.

"You're Emma. And the twins. And Olive. Bronwyn. Bea. He's Millard. You're dead. Oh my God. Am I dead?" Jacob rambled making Bea's eyebrows raise in amusement.

"No" Emma answered simply.

Jacob turned to her and asked "you called me Abe. In the house, why?"

"You looked like him. Just for a moment." The girl shuffled uncomfortably "Before you started screaming and running away and concussing yourself"

Bea smiled at her friend with a glint of mirth in her eye.

"Wait, what's happening?" Jacob asked the group.

"We are waiting until the coast is clear before we enter the loop" Bea spoke up as Olive walked towards the boy.

"You never know who might be watching." Olive said looking around as she grabbed the boys arm gently with her gloved hands.

"Wait, before we... before we go into what?" Jacob frowned.

"Please Jake. Miss Peregrine's waiting. She saw you on the ferry and sent us to get you" Emma pleaded.

Jake followed the others into the loop entrance before he stopped and slowly turned to the group who were already looking at him in anticipation to see if he was going to make it through the loop. To see if he was a peculiar like his grandfather. But as he got through the loop entrance he darted to the other side unaware that he was now in 1943. Bea sighed before she told Bronwyn and the twins to go back to the house and tell Miss Peregrine that they were having some delays with Jake as she and the other four took the horse and cart to the pub Jake had headed to.

Millard took his clothes off to use his invisibility to use his invisibility to mess with the pub owners while Bea stood outside the windows and used her telekinesis to help Millard. Olive then went in to get Jake setting the pub on fire. Olive And Jake ram to the horse and can't where Bea, Emma And an invisible Millard waited.

"Jake come on" Emma hurried before she made the horses run "Come on boy"

"I can't believe your real" Jake breathed out in disbelief.

"We have been trying to tell you." Emma told him sounding slightly annoyed.

"But I'm special too" Jake told them.

"What?" Emma asked.

"In the pub you saw it. Right? Everything was flying and breaking. And that was me. I was doing it with my mind." Jacob told them.

"No, that was me." Bea told him from where she was sitting next to Emma.

"And me" Millard added.

"Millard?" Jacob asked trying to work out where the invisible boy was.

"Yeah" Millard told them.

"Are you naked?" Jake asked again.

"Yeah" Millard stated normally.

"Orgh" Jake grunted as Bea took the folded up clothes off her lap and passed them to Olive who passed them to Millard.

"A bomb dropped in you in 1943" Jake told them.

"It is 1943" Olive informed.

"September the 3rd, 1943" Millard added.

"The whole day everyday" Emma started.

"It's our loop" Bea finished.

The group was silent as the journey carried on. When they got to the front door Miss Peregrine was already there ready to greet them.

"Right on time" she greeted them smiling.

"Miss Peregrine" Jake greeted in slight shock and awe.

"Delighted to meet you" she grinned shaking his hand before she turned to the other four. "I do hope I'm not going to have the pub landlord knocking on my door with the police again. I've had to kill them twice this month. It's been terribly inconvenient."

"We May have broken some things, that's all. And Olive may have started a tiny fire. But they were going to hurt Jake" Emma admitted sheepishly.

The six walked inside Bea joining Olive in the kitchen, Emma and Millard heading outside and Jake and Miss Peregrine had a conversation in the foyer.

"That will be enough, thank you Olive. Nobody deserves over boiled tea." Miss Peregrine told Olive who was using her peculiarity to boil the kettle whilst she conversed with Bea as Miss Peregrine walked in with Jake.

Enoch suddenly left the pantry with some jars which made Bea perk up at the sight of him.

"Let me help you with those, Enoch" she smiled.

"Don't bother. Wouldn't want to interrupt the tea party" he smiled sarcastically making her smile drop slightly as she followed him as he stomped up the stairs into his room.

"Enoch, Enoch!" Bea called after him following him into his room.

"What Bea?" He sighed as he set the jars onto the table in his room.

"Why are you so grumpy?" She poked towards him on the edge of his bed.

"I'm not grumpy" he lied facing her.

"Okay then. Wanna hear my adventure" she changed the subject smiling which made him smile at the fact anytime she left the loop or even the house she called it an adventure.

"Yes, But first" he whispered softly to her as he stood in front of her smiling the soft smile only she got to see.

"First?" She questioned as his hands wandered down her waist, over her bum and to the back of her thighs.

"First, this" he whipped her legs out from under her making her bounce onto his bed lying down with a laugh. Her white and blue checkered skirt rose onto her thighs as he crawled between her legs and up her white button up to her lips where he kissed her.

The two spent the next half an hour kissing and giggling as Bea told Enoch about her 'adventure' before Enoch started on his dolls as Bea helped and watched so she could watch their fight.

"Jake" Bea caught the boy's attention as he and Emma walked past Enoch's room "come meet Enoch, properly"

The boy walked into Enoch's room as Emma walked on to the attic.

"Well, you must feel pretty out of place." Enoch commented to the boy in front of him as Bea walked next to him.

"Don't worry. I am used to it" Jake assured awkwardly.

"I wasn't worried" Enoch commented "if you think your staying just because you like Emma, don't bother. You see, she swore off romance years ago when she got her heart broken. And she's never going to change her mind. So." Bea looked down sadly. Remembering how heart broken her friend was when Abe left and how she and Olive spent hours in her room trying to cheer her up, before she passed Enoch a pair of scissors.

"Enoch, I wasn't...what are you doing?" Jake asked looking at the dolls.

Enoch didn't answer but put a small heart in the doll as Jake left in closer as the dolls came to life which made Bea smile.

"Isn't he amazing?" She complimented.

"What did you do?" Jake asked.

"This? This is not even the fun part. Do you want to see the fun part?" Enoch asked.

Jake hesitated as Enoch whispered something to one of the dolls making the two dolls start fighting which caused Bea to Clap in anticipation. The doll standing on two legs pulled one of the crab like dolls arms off which then made Jake look slightly shocked at the strange inhuman growls came from the dolls and Bea smiled at them her eyes glimmered with excitement and awe. The doll standing cut one of the strings that held the other dolls head off with its scissor like hand making its head roll back slightly. The two legged doll went for the kill the crab like doll put its knife through him and drew it back out with the other dolls small heart on it. Jake swallowed and looked nervously at Enoch.

"They are just like puppets. Just do anything I tell them. It is even more fun with people. You should have seen some of the epic battles I used to have at my parents funeral parlour."

Bea smiled at Jake as Jake walked out to join Emma in the attic.

Bea plopped herself on Enoch's lap and took his face between her hands and whispered "I though it was wonderful" before she kissed him.
