I was at home just staring at the ceiling.
I was thinking about what happened,why did I act like that?
Am I just going crazy? Ughh,this is driving me crazy.
I couldn't understand why and what's happening.

Ashlyn - I wish I never feel such things again.

I sat up on the bed scrolling through my phone.
They were so dry...as always.
I got an call from Eman.
I picked it up.

Eman - Hey! You feeling okay?

Ashlyn - Yeah,it's fine.

Eman - You seemed so disturbed.

Ashlyn - Yeah,I'm fine.

Eman - What's wrong? You know you can talk to me...

Ashlyn - I would say if I atleast knew what's happening to me...I don't know either.

Eman - It's okay! I'm here whenever you want,okay?

I just hummed at his responses.

Eman - You want to meet up some day? I know a good place.

Ashlyn - Uh,I'll think about that.

Eman - You are coming! That's it.

Ashlyn - Okay...when?

Eman - Tommorow?

Ashlyn - Sure...by the way,I'm not coming to school tommorow.I want to take some rest.

Eman - Okay! So directly meet up at 5?

Ashlyn - Okay.

Eman - You aren't annoyed,are you?

Ashlyn - No! I'm rather glad you are asking me to meet.

Eman - Okay! So,do you like any movies?

Ashlyn - Uhh,I don't watch Philippines movies alot...I do watch series though...I specifically like watching law genre.

Eman - I see,I like action so almost the same!

Ashlyn - No! They are different...not even close.

Eman - *laughs* Okay!

Ashlyn - Yes!

Eman - I love Ukoy! What about you?

Ashlyn - I grew up in Germany...I never tasted Phillipines food ever,so I'd say Pretzels.

Eman - I'll give you an taste of Ukoy,they are so tasty.

Ashlyn - I am excited to taste it!

We spoke for a little more and then had to go away.
Oh! Eman,what are you doing to me!? I'm loving you even more now.
I smiled to myself.
I ate some toasts and slept to forget what happened.

The next day

I woke up to find myself not feeling any better.
It was just that one moment that I'm with someone,I'm feeling fine.
Am I really going crazy?

I stood up to fresh up and wore my cozy wear.

Ashlyn - Shouldn't I start picking a dress for evening already?

It was 11 AM,so I opened my wardrobe to select a dress.
Not this...not this! Shit! Don't I have clothes?
I selected an outfit finally after alot of time.
I fell onto the couch closing my eyes for abit.
I turned on the television trying to get an nice series to start.
I started watching an documentary,not feeling hungry I decided to eat in the afternoon.

Time skip

It was 4 PM,I started getting ready.

This was my fit.
I got ready by 4:45 PM, I called Eman to pick me up.
He asked me to be at the gate and he came to pick me up.

Eman - Your shirt looks cute.

I smiled at his compliment.

Ashlyn - Thanks! This is my favorite one.

Eman - Not at all,did you get your hair done? It looks perfect.

I couldn't help but blush.
I mean your own crush complimenting you...I'm already dying out of happiness.
Good that I'm not kicking my legs in the air like I always do when I'm overjoyed.

Ashlyn - Such a flirt!

I teased him.

Eman - Only for you.

He winked at me.

Ashlyn - Stop!

He laughed.
I smiled to myself.
We walked for a few minutes before I asked him where we were going.

Ashlyn - So what's the place you know?

Eman - Secret!

So sneaky!

We finally reached,he opened the door for me.

Ashlyn - Thank you,my servant.

Eman - At your service,my queen.

I couldn't help but giggle at his words.
I sat down.

Ashlyn - Sit down.

Eman - I'm gonna serve you.

Ashlyn - What?

He went away not answering anything.
I was dumbfounded.
He bought a platter full of food I've never seen.

Eman - Enjoy your meal of free cost as you came to my restraunt for the first time.

Ashlyn - Your restraunt? Wait! Is this your family business?

He nodded his head sitting down.

Ashlyn - Oh my god! That's incredible.

Eman - I know! Now eat! This is my favorite one...Ukoy,they are shrimps.

Ashlyn - Okay.

I tasted it and it was so delicious.
My eyes got so round at the taste.

Ashlyn - This is good!

He giggled and nodded proudly.

Eman - And this is Sinigang,it tastes really nice....it has beef and shrimps in it.

Ashlyn - Sorry,I can't eat Beef...

Eman - Why?

Ashlyn - I'm allergic to beef,pork and I avoid chicken too...I need an epi pen if I have to taste it.

Eman - Oh my god! I'll get another dishes done without them,okay?

Ashlyn - Don't worry! I had my lunch late...so I'm not hungry.

Eman - I'll get you some snacks from online?

Ashlyn - Don't bother.

I could see him getting guilty.

Ashlyn - Come on! I told you even if I wasn't allergic I can't eat them cause I'm not hungry!

Eman - Okay! Another surprise for my bestie!

He put his hands on my shoulder and showed me the way back to the road.

Ashlyn - Wh-What?

Eman - Surprise!

He showed me the way to a bridge.

Eman - The view would be nice at the time of sunset.

Ashlyn - It's okay! We can come back next time.

Eman - How? As a couple?

Ashlyn - Stop!

I hit his arm.
He laughed.
We walked to an Bakery he said was so good

Eman - What would you like? I would like an strawberry cake,you know the bow decor one.

Ashlyn - I'll be okay with an apple cake.

Cashier - Are you a couple? We have started a new programme to give a free cake peice for couples.

Ashlyn - Uh...

Eman - Yes! We are a couple.

He put his hand on my shoulder.

Cashier - Then you get one free peice,please wait and enjoy.

Eman nodded and smiled.

Ashlyn - What were you doing?

Eman - They said free,we can act like one for it.

He laughed.
Well,hope he knows I want us to be couples really too.
We sat down waiting for the cake.

Eman - Okay...by the way do you know what happened at school today?

Ashlyn - What? Did Freya do something stupid again?

Eman - No! Jay-Jay went to fight the Section D guys from yesterday and Keifer went to help her and now they both are in trouble.

Ashlyn - What!? Jay-Jay really has to think before doing things,she could've got hurt again and it only happened yesterday.

Eman - I know but her anger was justified too.

Ashlyn - I know! But...she is important more than her anger.But finally Keifer did something nice.

Eman nodded.

Eman - Keifer can't afford more complaints...he'll be expelled with another complaint,I guess Jay will take the responsibility...she's the one who started anyway.

Ashlyn - What!? But can she afford an call to her guardian? She told me that she promised her cousin to not make anymore mistakes.

Eman - I guess he can let it slide just once more?

Ashlyn - I hope so...that's why she must think before doing anything if she can't afford the price of her actions.

Eman - Don't worry,she can handle it.

I nodded my head.

Ashlyn - I'm just so much worried about her...you know,the only friend I made since birth.So,I'm acting like this.

Eman - No,I understand...that's the same way I feel too.I can help but worry about you.

Ashlyn - What are you talking about? I'm fine.

I smiled.

Eman - You could speak to me,you know?

I nodded my head.

Ashlyn - But atleast I sh-

I was cut off by Eman.

Eman - Anyone can look through you and say you are not okay...

I was startled.
He held one of my hand which was resting on the table.
I could sense the care but I didn't want to go.

Ashlyn - I don't know how to even tell what's happening at all...

Eman - What about a Psychologist? It might help.

Ashlyn - I'm not crazy...

Eman - Going to Psychiatrist doesn't mean you are crazy

Ashlyn - Everyone says that but I know people think I am mad.

Eman - Listen to m-

Ashlyn - No,I don't want to go.

Eman - Okay,think about it? Hmm?

I just nodded knowing I wouldn't even consider it.
The waiter came with the cakes we ordered.
Mine was an apple cake and His was strawberry one.
Both were having an bow as a decoration.

Waiter - We added the bow so you can be twining with your partner.

We nodded.

Eman - Perks of being couples.

He said laughing.
I took a snap of the cakes.
