Rimuru's POV

The three kids, Gilyoung, Donghoon, and Yoosung, talked about each other's capabilities and strategies to contribute to this scenario. Meanwhile, Yoo Sangah and I searched for any signs of our friends, specifically Yoo Junghyuk and friends.

"It seems like Yoo Junghyuk and friends already arrived before us," I stated.

"Kim Dokja's heading towards them; on that island, there's no doubt," I added casually as I pointed to the small island that looked small because it was from a distance. Yoo Sangah looked in the direction I was pointing, squinting her eyes to see what was there.

Then she finally recognized it and nodded.

"Ah, the Nodeul Island..."

Yoo Sangah looked at me, wearing a face full of impressions and hesitance.

"Sometimes, I have this urge to ask if you're really a human or not, Rimuru-ssi."

I gulped. Where did that question even come from? Do I have to break it to her? It's not like I'm currently a monster anyway, so let's deny it for now.

"I'm very much human, Sangah." I reassured her with a chuckle.

But did it work? My blue hair, golden eyes, and powers...

"Why did you ask that anyway?" Let's confirm.

Sangah pondered for a moment, playing with her fingers while looking down. She was deep in thought, almost hesitant to voice out something. I could feel her skin moisturizing with sweat just by looking at her.

"I... Just asking, hehe. It's just that you're very strong. I almost thought that you were a constellation pretending to be one of us."

I hummed in response. I almost forgot that the powers I held were on different scale if compared to the powers in here. I haven't given a proper demonstration of my actual battle, but I'm already branded like a monster.

I wonder if the old me could stand against a constellation.

{Possible.}

Mmm.

"But it's not like I'm doubting you, Rimuru! I-I'm sorry." She gestured her hands apologetically and shook her head. I don't blame her though.

Sangah was really kind. In this world of apocalypse, every human personalities would've been altered. The scenarios had introduced peace to chaos, kindness to malice, and mercy to cruelty. Being an adaptable creature a human can be, they would do things just to survive to the new environment.

May it abandon mercy to be cruel, kindness to be evil, and forsaking peace to wage chaos. The human race will do it all for survival. But not all of them are like that.

My friends aren't like that.

[The Disaster of Floods is awakening.]

[A new main scenario has arrived.]

.

SPLAT!

How did it turn out like this?

"D-Dokja?" Yoo Junghyuk's voice wavered.

Oh right. The lower part of my torso just got blown off because I saved this hard-headed protagonist.

And I feel like I'm going to die for real.

"DOKJA!!"

Blood spurted out of my mouth, but the amount it had wasn't comparable to the blood gushing out from my torso.

Are my intestines missing? I'd rather not find out.

I staggered and fell on my knees, my eyes watering at the painful sensation. It burns... It hurts like hell... and the blood won't stop flowing out of my body. I coughed blood nonstop as Junghyuk's voice kept getting louder in my ears.

He was kneeling down beside me, his eyes widening as he tried to comprehend the situation by shouting my name. No, he already knew what's happening. But disbelief overwhelms him because of how fast this was happening.

"I-I warned you, didn't I?" I managed to voice out.

That's right. This is a world where you could die just by taking the wrong step.

You'll have to listen next time if you want to live in this world further; I wish I could've said that. Ironically, despite me knowing the danger, I was the one dying here.

"Finish me off..." My voice was weak, and my throat felt humid with blood.

"What are y-"

"I'll give you one minute to kill me," I said, my eyelids drooping as my face paled.

He always wanted to kill me, so I gave him an opportunity. So why?...

Why are you hesitating?

"It's not too late!!" He shouted.

"It is, you bastard."

"It isn't!!"

Whatever.

What's the point?

I feel like I lost too much blood; I want to sleep.

Even Seolhwa wouldn't be able to fix me.

.

"Flood."

With one word from her mouth, multiple rifts appeared on the air. It took the form of a golden vortex, and a menacing aura imprinted from it. The atmosphere on the whole island changed in an instant.

A loud roar echoed throughout as multitudes of monsters started to appear from the rift, dropping on the ground and crawling everywhere to cause chaos.

"Shin Yoosung."

A silhouette appeared behind her.

"I will kill you."

BOOM!!

Air pressure surged and formed a cloud of dust from the impact. The trees were pushed backwards until their roots were revealed, barely holding onto the ground. That was how powerful the impact was.

As dust started to fade, it revealed two fingures at the center.

Yoo Junghyuk's sword was suspended on the ground as he missed his strike. Meanwhile, Shin Yoosung had her foot stepping on his sword mockingly.

"You can use Sky Breaker in high level already? But... you should know more than anyone else." Her gaze was deadly as she threw a punch at Junghyuk.

"That won't be enough."

Her fist, accompanied by a great force, came speeding at his face, but Junghyuk sidestepped it and countered with a side slash towards her abdomen. Her keen senses picked up, and she evaded it with ease.

"I will kill you, and I will make it certain." Junhyuk's resolve remained firm as he struck again. The impact of his sword continued to grow stronger with each swing, but the Diaster handled it efficiently.

"This isn't like you to be so worked up." The disaster parried his attacks using her claws. As she sent a side kick at him, Yoo Junghyuk thrust his sword at her head, but she dodged it by tilting her head.

Then her foot smacked his chin upwards before slamming it down his face, sending him kneeling on the ground. She attempted to strike his head with a slice from her claws, but Yoo Junghyuk dodged it in time with his sword.

"Who was that man?" She asked as she pushed force into her claws. Yoo Junghyuk struggled to hold it, so he gave away the force and let himself get pushed away.

"That man..." He took his time to catch his breath. "Is my companion."

...

"You dare to say that in front of my face?"

Her voice faded as she appeared in front of Junghyuk, sending a barrage of punches at him. Her voices filled with anger, annoyance, frustration, and pain as she ranted those words.

"Companion?? COMPANION?!!! Because he sacrificed himself for you!!? Then what about me?! What about the others??!! What about the people who fought alongside you!? What were they to you!?

What were we to you??!!"

The Disaster of Floods, Shin Yoosung from the 41st round watched everyone die fighting with Yoo Junghyuk. The sacrifices she saw that he shrugged off... the pain she went through... and the thousand years she endured to help the regressor by relaying information to different rounds.

but never had once she heard him say the word 'companion' to any one of them.

The word felt tabboo coming out of his mouth. And hearing it... drove her insane.

The Disaster sent a wave of monsters to deal with Yoo Junghyuk, while she walked away with a silent yet fuming intent.

"I will kill them painlessly... at least they won't suffer anymore for being with you." She smiled as she went to kill everyone who came in her way.

As she encountered Lee Jihye, they fought in the river. Despite the river being a territory for the girl, she couldn't do any significant damage towards the disaster. It was only a moment of time before the disaster froze the bodies of water by taming the tier 5 sea beast, King Masswood.

Lee Hyunsung, who was nearby, broke the ice and freed the people who were trapped. But the disaster appeared and brought along a tier 5 monster, Heavy Metal Kong, and made the man fight it.

"You were a valuable shield... but Yoo Junghyuk will toss you away once you're done." The disaster spoke coldly as Lee Hyunsung was taking damage from the Heavy Metal Kong.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I'm not his follower." Lee Hyunsung kicked the monster and managed to escape from it's grasp.

"I'm a companion of Kim Dokja."

Weird.

The disaster thought it was weird.

Who the hell was Kim Dokja?

Something's not right.

All the people who should be following Yoo Junhgyuk claimed to follow someone... and all the people who should've already died were still alive.

Whose orders are they following?

Where's the ruler's throne?

Many questions popped up inside her head. She failed to comprehend what was happening and what changes had been applied in this round.

Suddenly, a voice broke her out of her thoughts.

"Are you the disaster of floods?"

Her senses perked up, and she immediately looked around but couldn't find the owner of the voice. Her Beast Lord instinct was on full alert... as if she were in the presence of a much higher monarchy than a Beast Lord.

[The exclusive skill 'Elemental Magic Lvl.5' has been activated!]

The disaster looked up and saw a barrage of sharp, long, solid icicles raining down on her. She moved fast, faster than she had ever reacted for so long, or else she would've been hit by the attack.

'W-Who?'

"You managed to avoid that, huh?" A mysterious figure with dark wings landed on the ground without making a sound. Their hair fluttered in the air, looking angelic and demonic at the same time.

And as she set her eyes upon the figure, she knew it right away...

This isn't human.

"Say, have you heard of a man named Kim Dokja?"
