Rimuru's POV
I'm currently in the air, flying towards the Yongsan-Gu area to find Gilyoung and Donghoon. My wings flapped heavily, yet they were silent. I was starting to think that I might be an owl.
As I flew with great speed, I encountered some flying monsters. They weren't even a bother, considering how I easily killed them by punching their guts with my human hands. Punching on something for a while was refreshing, but I frowned after seeing my knuckles covered in monster blood.
'Ew!' I immediately shook my hand to remove the monster blood from my hands. Just like that, I was able to fly, pass through the Han River, and finally arrive at Yongsan-Gu. I could see the cityscape erecting high and tall, although I could see its wall's cracks and windows shattered.
I admired it for a while, then I smoothly landed on the ground. I disabled my [Mimicry] and my wings disappeared magically. Now, I won't get asked about being a demon, right?
As I wandered around the area, the ground suddenly shook. I remember this feeling, and I immediately run towards the source. Considering how the ground shook repeatedly, someone or something giant must be walking around.
It wasn't long enough for me to see a giant praying mantis' head peeking through the alley. I halted once the mantis and I made contact. Then, I heard a voice.
"Rimuru Hyung?" Lee Gilyoung revealed himself on top of the giant praying mantis, and Han Donghoon followed. Then, both of their faces brightened, although Donghoon tried to hide it by looking away.
"Guys!" I immediately ran to them with a smile on my face. The giant mantis lowered its head, and then Han Donghoon and Lee Gilyoung hopped off on the ground. The brown haired boy, Lee Gilyoung, rushed to my waist and hugged me tightly.
"You miss me this much?" I asked as I caressed his hair, his face buried in my chest. The brown haired boy just nodded and hummed in response.
I didn't know Gilyoung would be this clingy...
I don't hate it, though. Perhaps I've wanted more. I looked at Donghoon, standing a bit distant, and I noticed him looking away and his fingers fidgeting on the phone.
What a shy guy.
I tried to tease him about hugging me, but he just denied it and shook his head vigorously. Then it reminded me that I, right now, am the same age as him. We're both still 17, though I'm probably around 30+ inside.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Time passed, and that sub-scenario was over.
I should summarize my experience with the both of them.
Lee Gilyoung was stronger than he looked. Sometimes, he'd give me the impression that he'd become possessive once he deemed something to be his. Regarding his attribute, [Insect Collector], I was a bit impressed with his skill, [Diverse Communication], used in communicating and controlling a limited scale of species.
I gave him Antinus, the Parasyte Queen, whom I sucked off from Lee Seolhwa's body. Lee Gilyoung quickly took control of Antinus, making him have two strong tames. A tier-6 Monarch-Level Insect and the Parasyte Queen.
This kid's a menace for sure.
Unlike Gilyoung, Donghoon was still quiet. He focuses more on networks and technology. Of course, because of him, we were able to meet up with Kim Dokja and the others.
Surprisingly...
Two days ago
"Donghoon, Kim Dokja said that they're coming here, right?" I asked the curly black-haired teen who's facing his phone. He just nodded and said, "He's coming with Sangah-Noona."
I hummed in response as I watched Gilyoung from a distance, communicating with his insects to check up on the others. I told him to see if Jung Heewon and Lee Hyunsung were doing fine, and he gladly obeyed.
After a few minutes, Gilyoung and I decided to ride his giant praying mantis, named Titano. We dragged Donghoon along, and we started pointing out some places in this city. Just then, Gilyoung controlled Titano to walk near the Han River, and that's where we met Kim Dokja, Yoo Sangah, and... Shin Yoosung.
Back to the present
I'm crouching down, watching Kim Dokja have two kids cling to him while they sleep.
How cute. Kim Dokja seemed more popular with kids than I do. Shin Yoosung, the girl I met before, was clinging to Dokja's right, while Lee Gilyoung was clinging to his left.
They're very competitive against each other, and it must be because of their attributes. Shin Yoosung was a [Beast Lord], while Gilyoung was an [Insect Collector], both have differences but fall into the same category.
Surprisingly, Shin Yoosung and I somewhat shared a connection.
I wonder why?
[Error.]
[Attribute window cannot be opened.]
Thought so... it's always been like this, ever since the star of scenarios. The only reason why I know my skills is because of Great Sage.
My partner's been quiet these days...
After everyone woke up, I walked towards Kim Dokja while staring at the two kids who were bantering about him. I smirked, then decided to tease him.
"Your kids are arguing, aren't you going to stop them?" I could feel the corner of my lips curling up, causing a dimple to appear on my cheek. I didn't know I had dimples.
Kim Dokja rolled his eyes and scoffed, then returned the smile and tease. "My kids? I thought they're our kids."
He caught me off guard.
"You're seriously hitting with a minor? How creepy." I dramatically placed a hand over my head, to which he looked at me with a dead fish face.
"You? Minor? Didn't you say that you were a 30-year-old man who died as a virg-"
"Stop! Stop!"
It didn't take too long for us to laugh at each other, which earned a smile from Sangah, Donghoon, and our children.
Gilyoung and Yoosung stared, then the boy nudged her elbow. "I told you Dokja Hyung likes guys."
"T-Thats... well, Ajhussi likes him because of his beauty!" Yoosung relented, and soon, both of them bantered again.
It was fun and lively, even in this ruined world. I made friends, companions, and enemies at the same time. If my old world were this eventful, I doubt I'd be able to keep my country from falling from the scenarios.
I knew that there would be a day where we'd cry, get mad, and possibly... even die.
So I made a silent wish, since wishes you don't voice out will come true.
So, I prayed silently.
I wish things would go this way forever...
