sunoo stopped typing on his laptop and glanced at riki, who is busy with his phone. the two are sitting next to each other on the couch, inside the headquarters.

"cancer. why?"

"just curious. what's your favorite color?" ni-ki continued to ask while sunoo is focused on his laptop.

"uh, purple... shit, why does it keep on saying error..." sunoo mumbled, his eyes fixated on the screen. he's been editing the pubmat for their post but photoshop is being shitty.

"how about... your favorite food?"

the older one raised an eyebrow. what's this, slambook? "i don't know, i like a lot of food."

riki nods while typing fast on his phone. "do you prefer cats or dogs?"

"dogs."

"favorite song?"

"okay that's it, i've had enough with the q&a. what are you even typing on your phone?" sunoo faced the younger and tried to check on his phone. "wait— you're not listing my answers, are you?"

riki gulped, his ears turning on a shade of light pink. "what? n-no! haha hyung what are you even saying..." he avoided his gaze.

sunoo's eyes still remained on riki, observing him. it's just odd for sunoo how the guy is so transparent with his feelings towards him. he can't even lie to my face without getting all red.

wait, did he just say cute? sunoo shakes his head and went back to editing the pubmat.

jake watched as heeseung controls the mouse using his right hand while editing the code for the program. it's been over an hour since the older texted him, saying that he's free to help him with his project.

honestly, jake has never been happier. he rushed to get to the computer laboratory even though he's on the complete opposite side of the university.

it's all worth it, at least i get to spend time with heeseung. he giggled inside his mind. he caught a whiff of heeseung's perfume as he went close to the computer.

good Lord he smells so— nevermind i'm gonna shut up before i let out a scream.

he lets his eyes settle at the other, looking carefully. he now realized that heeseung dyed his hair— the black hair changed into a mix of blonde and light shade of pink.

it suits him.

"did you get that?" he got pulled out in his trance when heeseung asked him.

"uh... definitely! so that's why it's not running," jake bit his lower lip to focus on his work. "thank you so much for your help, heeseung."

heeseung nods back at him. "no worries. i'm just making sure jay won't nag me and say that i didn't help you." he chuckled.

i should treat jay later, he's doing God's work. "nah, i owe you a lot. besides, i don't think i'll pass this semester if i don't do well on the project."

"that bad huh? my grades suck when i was in first year too. i even thought of shifting my course," heeseung reminisced. that was a tough year.

jake stares at the guy beside him. "well, it's a good thing that you didn't. or else i wouldn't have the chance of getting to know you."

heeseung chuckles. "what's there to know about me? i'm a boring person anyways."

"you're definitely not boring. i like being with you— even for a small amount of time."

i like staying by your side, hyung.

heeseung went frozen when a familiar voice slipped through his mind, making him want to puch himself for suddenly remembering that. wake the fuck up, lee.

"heeseung? you okay?" jake asked, his eyes sparked with worry.

"yeah. i'm just gonna do my homework here. you can ask me if there's anything wrong." heeseung tried to brush it off, turning his computer on so he can distract himself.

"oh, okay. goodluck with your homework!" jake clears his throat, "also, your new hair color looks good on you."

heeseung gave him a smile. "thanks."
