"so did taeyoung really choke on marshmallows?" sunoo watched as riki ate the moon cake in front of him.

they're sitting on one of the tables inside the café near their university. he was supposed to study alone, but nishimura found him and decided to join the boy.

"yeah. our previous seniors were kind of barbarians, and sadly taeyoung was one of their victims." sunoo sipped on his lemon iced tea. "i don't know if sunghoon will allow the team building this year though."

riki nodded and checked his watch. there's only 5 minutes before his first class starts, but he just can't leave sunoo alone. he doesn't want to.

sunoo's unknown ex-boyfriend has also been bothering his mind lately. but why would i let it bother me when he's already an ex?

meanwhile, sunoo observes the freshman in front of him. he keeps on frowning every once in a while, as if he's thinking of something.

"don't you have a class to attend? it's already past 8, you should go." sunoo brought it up, since ni-ki looks like he doesn't want to leave.

the younger shook his head. "but you'll be alone here."

"what am i, a ten year old kid? just leave already." he insisted, but riki keeps on pouting and looking grim.

"hyung, i don't want to."

he is such a child. why am i even allowing him to act like this?

sunoo stood up, packing his things up and getting his backpack. "fine, get up. i don't wanna be labeled as a bad influence."

riki follows through, letting his sunoo hyung hold his arm and drag him outside of the café. when they arrived at the gate, the older is now holding his wrist— making ni-ki's heart race.

see? he's not even doing anything out of normal but i'm out here getting butterflies already. i'm crazy.

"where's your class? art building? room number?" sunoo asked nonstop, forgetting the fact that he's holding riki's wrist by his right hand.

ni-ki takes this opportunity to take sunoo's hand away from his wrist, replacing it with his left hand instead. he holds sunoo's right hand lightly, feeling a bit nervous.

"....riki? are you even listening to me?" sunoo frowns at him, but the boy is busy looking at their hands.

then it hit sunoo. why am i holding his hand? when did this happen? he was confused, but he didn't let go of riki's hand.

there's no malice anyways. he brushed the odd feeling inside his stomach and continued to walk towards the art building, while ni-ki is following behind.

"hyung, it's room 28." riki finally talks, pointing at the last room on the first floor. his brain was having a hard time trying to sink in the fact that he's holding sunoo's hand.

he squeezes his hyung's hand for a second. sunoo stops walking, looking back at riki.

"what's wrong?"

ha, fuck. does he even know his effect on me?

"nothing's wrong, just— my heart's been pounding real fast since earlier so let me just..." riki lets go of his hand.

"....i'm letting go of your hand before i do something crazy."

sunoo blinks. well, shit. "i, uh... sorry—"

ni-ki smiles at him before patting his head. "thanks for bringing me to class, hyung. i'll see you later."

sunoo exhaled sharply as he watched riki get inside the room. he didn't even realize that he'd been holding his breath while the freshman was talking earlier. that feeling again...
