he stops finishing his sentence when jungwon snatched the papers from his desk.

"who said i can't do it? i'll give this back tomorrow morning." jungwon stomps his feet whilst walking back to where riki is seated.

sunghoon bit his lower lip to stop himself from smiling. "sure, kitten. do whatever you want."

"i'm not a cat!" jungwon glared at the older before sitting beside riki.

"hey won," he closed his laptop. "you don't want to have lunch with me right?"

his friend raised an eyebrow. "what the hell are you saying?"

"just say you don't want to have lunch with me."

"have you finally gone crazy? stop shaking my arm-" jungwon tried to kick his leg but he quickly avoided the guy.

"okay i don't want to have lunch with you, dipshit! satisfied now?"

ni-ki gave him a thumbs up before picking his things up. "thanks won, i have to go now. bye!"

"wait what- you're leaving me here?! nishimura!"

"woah, that looks cute." sunoo couldn't help but stop and admire the bunny that was in the cage outside of a pet shop.

"hey there little guy," he waves his fingers as the bunny stares at his hands.

riki smiled beside him. they're walking back to the university but since they ate a lot of sushi earlier, they decided to pass by the longer route.

"do you like it? want me to buy it for you?"

sunoo looks at him with a bit of a shock on his face. does this kid like spending money or what?

"no, it's alright. besides, jay's allergic to fur so i can't have pets in my apartment."

ni-ki nodded, thinking about something. "pets are cute, plus they can relieve your stress."

they started walking again, this time with a slower pace.

"do you have one?"

"yeah, a dog. he's in japan with my family."

sunoo pouted. "i'm sure he's also cute." he glanced at riki before speaking again. "by the way, isn't it difficult to live far from your family?"

even i can't stand being away from my family for a long period of time. but he seems used to it. or am i wrong?

"of course it is. but my mom doesn't forget to call me every day, and i have jake hyung and his family to help me here." ni-ki kicked the tiny rocks that are in front of them.

"i also don't feel lonely these days. maybe because i found a new home here."

sunoo frowned, looking confused. "new home? where?"

riki laughed, throwing his head back and brushing his hair through his fingers while the older still looked confused.

"right here." he raised his right hand and pointed his index finger towards sunoo.

the words came out of riki's mouth as a whisper, but sunoo heard it clearly.
