Constant ticking coming from my window woke me up that night.

From my past experiences, I had a pretty good idea who it was going to be, but it surprised me still.

"Hey," Eli's soft face appeared from the now opened window, "I didn't wake you up, did I?"

"No, no, it's fine," I cleared my throat, "I'm happy to see you,"

I wanted to bring yesterday up but I didn't because he asked me to forget about it, so I did my best to.

"I'm happy to see you too," He smiled with the sweetest expression.

"You want to come in?" I whispered nodding into my room, "We could watch a movie or something?"

"Actually," A sneaky smirk appeared on his face making me laugh almost instantly, "I was thinking we could've taken a ride on my bike? Explore the sleeping city,"

My eyebrow rose in curiosity, "I would love that," I bite my lip with a nod.

"Come on, meet me outside,"

I closed the window as he ran off before walking outside trough the entry door.

"Are we going to the beach?" I tried to contain my excitement.

"I was actually thinking about bringing you to a way cooler place... if you want to of course,"

I nodded while mounting his bike as he did the same.

"Shit," He said under his breath, barely audible.

"Eli, what's wrong?" My eyebrow furrowed as I leaned into him, my arms around his waist, ready to go.

"I've forgot the second helmet," He groaned while taking the helmet that was hanging on the handle bar before placing it delicately on my head.

"No, you wear it," I began pulling it off of my head.

"y/n, I want you to wear it... and don't argue with me or I'll leave without you and I really don't want to do that,"

I playfully roll my eyes with a groan before dropping my head in the crook of his neck, earning a slight giggle from the vanilla smelling boy.

"Ready to go?"

"Ready."

I loved riding the motorcycle with him, there was a sense of freedom pulsing through my veins as we did, and I felt even more connected with him in a way.

It wasn't long until we reached our destination, my mind still unclear about what we were going to do. He walked me to a unlocked building that didn't seem abandoned, but their was no one inside.

We ran up a multitude of stairs before reaching the very top, where he opened a door leading us to the beautiful roof top.

I smiled widely at the sight of it all; right in the middle, there was a mattress covered in a fluffy blanket, making me warm that he did all of this.

"Come on," He grabbed my hand again, leading me to the comfortable looking mattress.

"You did all of this for me Eli Moskowitz?" I pecked his cheeks with the biggest smile ever.

He laid on the mattress, signing to me to do the same before squeezing my hand once again, "Look up,"

"It's so beautiful," I whispered, amazed at the beautiful stars scattered across the sky, "I've never seen them this bright before, the stars back home are barely visible,"

"Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it's not there," I felt his breath on my ear, causing me to lay my head on the side, meeting his child-like blue eyes.

"You have such pretty eyes Moskowitz,"

"You have such a pretty face y/l/n," He smirked at the blushy pink painted on my cheek. "You are gorgeous, really,"

One of his hands cupped my smiling face as I leaned into his touch, my eyes closing at the comfortableness of his thumb gracefully stroking cheek.

"I'm going to miss you Eli... So much," My eyes began watering but I held back my tears as best as I could.

"Me too," He whispered, his mouth close to my flushed face, "It's going to be okay, we'll be fine,"

"I know," I bit my lip, my hand laying on top of his.

"You'll be back next summer, and-and we can call whenever you feel like it, I'll be there whenever you need me, you know that,"

"I know," I sighed, "It won't stop me from missing you, from missing everyone I've gotten so close to this summer,"

"It's only one year, It'll past by so fast, I promise,"

"I hope so," I whispered, looking deeply into his eyes.

"I bet there's hundreds of guys waiting for you to come back home so they can snatch you up," He smirked, trying to lift up the mood.

"Maybe," I shrugged with a heavy sigh, "But I don't care about them, I never will,"

Like I care about you.

Eli sat up, looking for something in his pocket, "I tried to fix it," He presented me the necklace he had bought for me before we even got together, "I spend the whole night, that very night fixing it and I've waited for the perfect moment to give it back to you; It's not perfect but I tried,"

The necklace had turned into a pretty bracelet with the original initial and a added charm; a little heart.

"Eli-" I was at lost for words, "I don't deserve you, I can't believe-"

"I've even got a matching one," He smiled big, demonstrating the sliver chain wrap around his wrist with my initial on it, "Open yours,"

"What?" My eyebrows furrowed.

"Open the heart charm," A little smirk found its way into his face.

inside the heart locket was a small folded paper, I looked at him with a confused expression.

"Come on," He laughed.

I unfolded the paper revealing small writing; Prom?

was the only thing written of the small piece of paper.

"Prom?" I asked confusingly, "Prom is only at the end of the year... I- I wont be able to make it Eli, I'm so sorry," I wanted to cry, especially after everything he had done for me.

I put the beautiful bracelet on.

"I know," He smiled, "That's why prom came a little early just for you princess... Follow me," He got to his feet before handing me his hand like a true gentleman.

We walked for a bit before his phone started ringing, he picked it up, slightly annoyed and I instantly recognize the voice even though it was barely audible.

"Where are you guys? I knew we shouldn't put a mattress up there!" Skylar talked quickly on the other side of the phone, making Eli's face flush.

"God, we're coming, calm down. I'm just having trouble finding the room," He rolled his eyes annoyed before I heard something hard to make out from Skylar.

We got to the so called room where Eli presented me the most beautiful dress I've ever seen with a matching tux, "Sky helped me pick them, I hope you'll like it,"

I practically jumped into his arms, squeezing him as tight as I could, "What did I do to deserve you?"

"Come on, put on the dress," He laughed, handing me the dress of my dreams with a wink, "I bet you'll look amazing."

~~~
The dress fit me like a glove and the color looked perfect with my skin tone, I carefully walked trough the door before being met with the most handsome boy I've ever met in my life.
"Wow," We both said in unison making us laugh.
"Y-you look so... you are so beautiful," His eyes lingered on my dressed up body, making my face flush slightly.
"And you are so handsome," I pecked his cheek while his fingers intertwined with mine, still leading me somewhere.
"Where are we going?" I chuckled with a curiosity in my voice.
"You'll see,"
