Always having to clean after the scouts

You sigh at the papers piled up on your desk as yet another titan attack occurred, it was always you having to clean after them

You arrived at the place where the damage was done and examined the destroyed part of the city closely

" that's going to take a lot to repair" you frowned

You turned around and saw some scouts examining the ground

You search the crowd and manage to see the leader

You sigh and walk up to him

" what are they doing?" You yelled to the man as you pointed at the people looking at the ground

" tch, mind your business" he scoffs

You glare at him, " could you be a bit nicer?!? The military are literally cleaning after you!! The scouts! That's such a  pain in the ass! I don't need your scouts getting in the way! So tell them to move so the military and access the damage!" You demanded, loudly

" so? We need to find every bit of evidence From the female's titans DNA, for research" he replied annoyed as if the duty of this had been placed upon him not by choice

You massaged your head getting a headache

" well move your men and women! By the order of the military police-"

" tch brat! quit your whining!" The man pointed at you

Before you could reply your commanding officer walked in

" what's the meaning of this?" He asked

" um sir! The military police ordered the scouts to clear the area but...the captain! here doesn't want to comply, we have to access the damage as soon as possible sir!" You said bowing, the man beside you cursed Solely under his breath

" is that true Captain Levi?" He repeated to the man

" I need it for the research lab back at HQ" The man simply replied

Your captain looked at you, " seemingly titans are our enemy we should always find there weak point yes? [y/n] report back to the military saying it can wait, they won't take any longer" your captain walked passed you making you gape your mouth open in shock

You glared at his back and turned to the emotional man

" better hurry along" he rolled his eyes at you, passing you a note

You straightened your uniform and nodded, smiling to yourself as you walked out

Your feet moved in the waving grass as you Search the area

The scouts had yet again somehow made it into the wanted list and you were patrolling the area alone as you were capable enough

You were walking quietly when you heard shuffle in the bushes

You glance to the bushes and saw nothing that could cause the sound, but just in case you ready your stance and walk to the bush and look in it

There was nothing inside and before you could look around a hand covered your mouth and your vision outed leaving you no time to react

Your eyes flutter as you wake up, aware of the events that brought you to this moment you joint awake but realise your hands and feet are tied and plus you were tied to a tree

" ah your awake" someone called

You look around and saw unfamiliar people, but one thing was for sure they had 3DM gear that made you realise they were in the survey corps

" shit" you cursed as you tried to get out but to no veil

" listen here you brat, we need answers, start talking " someone walked to you

You realised the face and glared at the man

" what do you want?" You said staying on guard

The man kneeled down and forcefully smashed his hand next to your head on the tree

" we need to know the route the military are taking, you don't answer and your head will be crashed, what is your answer?" He said staring you in eye

" how do you know I won't lie...?" You teased confidently

He glared at you, " answer the question" he said getting a knife from his pocket and pressing to your neck

You stared at him and sighed, " fine fine" you said, explaining the routes, you had no point to lie... anyways

" got that?" He looked at the others that observed the scene and nodded

" we will strike tomorrow morning when the east is clear" he spoke

Everyone understood and you watched as the sun went down

" meanwhile I'll keep a eye on you" the man turned his attention to you

" you don't sleep?" You question tilting your head to the side a bit

" shut up" he said as he stared at the fire that glowed as the night howled louder

You stare at the fire and then turn your attention to the man and scoff

" I can't believe I got kidnapped by the scouts" you said observing your surroundings

" do you want to be murdered next?" you heard

" why are you so harsh sheesh" you said side eyeing the man

" either way I don't mind being killed, the world is already a hell hole" you said after a couples of seconds, taking glances at the man

" I wonder why the scouts are so strict huh? Oh wait I know the answer...and I bet you do too, considering you've been a scout for long time...considering your humanity's strongest soldier?" You pushed the man's button

The man snapped and walked to you

" shut up! What do you know!?!" he snapped once more and pressed the knife from before to your neck

" my dad was one...he died for the sake of humanity , I however didn't want to become one of the scouts but I wanted to help humanity so I became a part of the military, serving under that pig" you scoffed

The man didn't hesitate and seem to press the knife closer to your neck

" I know its random but it's good to talk it out sometimes..." you said looking at him

" what happened to you?" He questioned

You rose a brow

" you use to be just a impatient brat and now you changed personalities" he said

You smiled, " you do remember me? Well we started off rocky but you know we can start over?" You offered

" no, I don't trust you" the man protested

" your going to kill me anyway? What's the point" you explained

He put down the knife hesitantly

" you remind me of someone" he said as he stood up

" I do?" You said looking at him as he sat next to you

" yeah...[y/n]" The stoic man called

" ....finally!!! you know Levi, how long I had to keep up the act, I feel used" you pouted

Levi chuckled and went down and cut your restraints

" finally" you massaged your hand

" what information did you get?" Levi asked you

" plenty," you said explaining everything you got

After a long chat Levi half smiled and patted your head

" thanks" he mumbled quietly before kissing your forehead

You blush and cover your face as Levi stood up

" you know, you can come out now, how long  are you going to watch, the tension is killing me" Levi called to his surroundings

The scouts popped out one by one, ashamed

" you set this up...? Did you at least like the show we put on?" You questioned the scouts as they came out of the bushes embarrassed and Levi

" I didn't set it up, there just nosy" Levi said as he practically rolled his eyes

" um- captain may I ask who's this?" The blonde boy quizzed with others behind him whispering if Levi really did kiss your forehead in a shocked state

You smile, " an old old friend"

[ Summary : you were assigned as a spy after being taken in by the scouts underground ( during that time you were together with Levi and still secretly were). you were then entrusted with spying on the military in case one day they perhaps could not be trusted and when it was the right moment, your identity was finally exposed to the other scouts. ]
