In the eyes of people you were the perfect couple, you were the power couple, people always stared in awe as you pasted them on the streets with your lover

His name was Levi but looks can be deceiving, he looked like a CEO or a boss of a famous company, the problem was he was but he was infamous, he was a part of the Mafia

"agent red, you are assigned to kill the infamous Levi Ackerman himself, you have a total of 2 years to get information, we're counting on you" was stated as files were tossed on the table 

Based on colours was everyone's rank 

agent yellow ; beginner 

agent blue ; experienced 

agent green ; capable of solo missions 

agent black ; capable of big missions 

agent red ; top rank 

You were at the top rank, it took 10 years to get to your position, you were the youngest to be one as your parents registered you at a young age,  15, so you were currently 25 now 

Everything was going smoothly, you were just lucky enough to be his girlfriend, you had the looks, skills, everything and that's what Levi adored about you 

You had woken to your alarm which was always at 5 am

and you stare at the side of the bed that appeared empty and frowned as you got up 

You suddenly hissed at the cold temperatures beamed at you, then was when you realised your nude body was covered in bruises from yestaurday, your mission and...well other activities 

You get up with a robe and cover your body as you head downstairs to see your boyfriend preparing his morning coffee

"going to work soon?" you asked as you approached him 

Levi nodded and turned to you smiling 

" I will be home late" he said as he kissed your forehead, you kept a smile that was obviously fake 

"I hope you have a great day!" you said as you hugged him suddenly 

You could feel him hesitate but hug you back 

Levi then lifted up your chin and kissed you (deep apologises for making you short, if you think about it, it is a benefit in a way) and carried you to the table, not breaking the kiss 

You continued to kiss him but suddenly his phone rang and he parted 

"sorry honey, just a moment" Levi said as he went away

You watched and your smile dropped to a more emotionless face 

You got your phone and reported everything about his time of calls on your secret app that was disguised like any normal app 

It was nearly the end of the 2 years and you had supplied so much information and today was the day you had to kill him...but something in you was telling you not to

surely after all this hard work you didn't fall for the man, surely you weren't going to drop everything and live with him, forever...

After Levi was finished the call he got ready and you bid fair well to him at the door of your lovely home

You sighed as you put on your uniform as a disguise 

You followed his car and sure enough, it went to a deserted place with a tall building 

You sighed as you parked near the building, you were probably going to ditch the car anyways 

You went in through the security with the fake cards built by your police organization 

You carried your fake paperwork after people scouted around and they told you were to go and where his office was and the requirements to get in his office ( yestaurday) 

It was a huge job but you were prepared for it was what other people said

The elevators numbers changed to your level and you scanned your eye to get out, hackers that went through the system hacked it for you to go in, your police organization was very skilled after all 

You walked in Levi's office which had a glass door to enter his office and were met with Levi's back to you, he seemed to not hear you as you were quiet 

You quietly sighed and you slowly got your gun extremely quietly, that is sounded like the wind and then opened the door quietly and pointed the gun to his head, you were about to shoot but something in you stopped that 

You tried but your body told you otherwise 

" go on shoot" was  all that was heard 

you were shocked, how did he know? was it too obvious?

Levi then span his chair around 

"hello darling" he chimed as he got off his chair and walked to you 

You cursed yourself for not being able to move, why couldn't you do it? you trained years for this moment, you endured everything for this mission 

Levi walked to you with his hands behind his back and he went up against you  

You gulped as he pinned you to the wall 

You just couldn't pull the trigger which confused you 

Levi then guided his hand to yours and pointed the gun to his chest 

"you can pull it, I waited for this moment" Levi said softly, looking in your eyes 

You were beyond confused, the coldest man to everyone was being so soft to you, he wanted you to kill him 

"why? you caught me so kill me!" you said as you had your finger on the lever 

"I knew you were faking everything from the start...i was about to kill you too when I found out ...but I fell in love so I rather die to your hands than have my hands stained with yours" Levi said making you sad

You tremble with the gun in your hand and closed your eyes

Only a loud shot was heard from that office, alerting everyone around it

After that signal the police raided the area, the organization was somehow outnumbered 

But by the time they got to Levi's office where they should see you with Levis corpse, there was nothing, all was left was the glass scattered everywhere like you went through the window 

"shit, they took agent red" someone reported 

Police around the area got the message and scattered everywhere to find you but to no signs of you 

In truth you couldn't bring yourself to shoot the man, he was willing to give up everything for you? surely that was love 

You shot the window and grabbed Levi, making him surprised at your sudden actions 

" were getting out of here"

"[y-y/n]? what are you doing?" Levi said as you handed him a police uniform 

"an extra uniform that was too big for me but I kept it in case, wear it and quickly!" you said 

Levi did as you turned around and after you escaped with him and got in your car, you two drove away sneakily

The end of the story was you and him, flying around the world, you two had new identities and living a good life, travelling was fun, he was willing to risk everything for you and you were willing to do the same

You sat next to him on the balcony as you looked at the sunset, you had a new life, leaving your old life behind...and not to mention the end of the love story was old age 

You were very smart to the end, you were always running but at least you managed to have a happy life with your lover doing so.
