Levi awoke to the sound of your soothing voice in an unknown room

"w-what happened?" Levi murmured as he sat up in confusion, messing his neatly pulled up sheets

You clench your fists, holding back the tears after all the events that replayed through your mind, after claiming wall Maria you had to create the biggest decision of your life

"you were badly injured and there was Erwin too-"

"Wait Where's Erwin!?!" Levi sprang out of his bed, trying to get out of the room

You tried to cool him down and push him back on the bed, " listen there was only one serum... his..." you trembled at your own words

"Why Didn't You Save Him!?!" Levi yelled at you without thinking straight

You were deeply hurt by his words

"Levi-"

"w-why!?!" Levi said, trembling and shaking, tears in his eyes

Your tears ran down your cheeks, you cupped his hands to comfort him

"when i saved Erwin he rejected it...he pointed to you..." you said softly

Levi looked at the ground and grabbed his head in frustration, he cursed Erwin for his actions

"Hanji is taking over his job.." you mentioned

Levi just nodded at you, unable to find the words to speak

"I'm sorry" you said wiping your cheeks so you didn't appear emotional

"don't be, if I wasn't so careless" Levi said gripping his hands, thinking of his actions that scarred him

You frowned and hugged him, " don't say it, just live on for him" was all you could say and all you can muster the courage to say

"is there anything else I need to know?" Levi said in a soft tone, patting your back, trying to comfort you

You nodded and parted from the hug and told him the details that happened as a recap and the current plan

You used your 3DM Gear to spin around Marley, causing destruction and dodging every flying attack that seemed to bomb at you

You use your gear as you slice the monkey that stood proudly with no effort, the legs, arms and soon the nape, it was just like Levi taught you, you were like the exact copy of him now

After grabbing his hair to smoothin your fall you flick the blood of your blades while some people ran away from you in fear before you spin to another building to keep up with the ship that floated high in the city

Just barely seeing a colossal titan in the background, reminding you of Erwin and how you had to make the hardest decision

After landing on the ship you saw Armin and Mikasa waiting with Eren as well as Levi taunting Eren

You walk closer and see Eren get kicked in the face by Levi with a hard force

Everyone then runs to Eren with guns, alerting you to run and save Eren, you have to admit you had a soft spot for him and his behaviour recently just didn't seem like him, you didn't believe his act

Although as you arrived there was silence that was among everyone, the tension arising every second

"...rejoice everything went to plan" Levi announced after a pause

You look at him and after everything was settled, you pulled him aside

" you feeling alright?" You asked him, referring to his titan abilities

" yes, I got the hang of it know" Levi said massaging his hand

You cup his hands and look at him in the eye directly

" did you have to go so hard on Eren?" You asked

Levi blushed a little but shook it off

" t-that brat deserved it" Levi said as he walked past you

You only sighed in response

The scene was horrifying, the explosion splattered everywhere

You convinced yourself Levi was fine, he was a titan with regenerating powers 

You looked around and didn't see him

You sighed, where was he?

Your heart ached in pain, for the first time you thought you might have developed feelings for the man and it pained you to have it, all you could do was keep searching hopelessly

At this point you had lost everyone, Hanji...Erwin...your friends

You fall to the ground losing hope as you replayed the scene of Hanji giving you your position

" why me?" You said trembling and shaking uncontrollably

" Hanji, Erwin do you really believe in me?" You said to the sky that seemed to only darken more

You were about to give up after several titans came towards everyone and you as well until you heard large footsteps that followed to you and knocked a titan in front of you

You turned to be meet with titan eyes

You flinch a little before realizing it was Levi and was about to jump at him, you hadn't seen him the whole time...and you didn't what to be the first to tell him the news

Levi somehow in his titan form gave you the motivation to keep going, his eyes told the story

All you could do was nod as you ready your blades, keeping up the fight

You mumbled a thanks, hoping he heard you but it was very unlikely

After fighting for your life you finally fall down in your tracks

You hear someone behind you and run to you

You look behind and were met with arms around you

"your safe" Levi murmured

You smiled, " what happened?" you said dizzily

" Eren did something but I'm not sure what he did but no one can transform into a titan anymore " Levi said, relief evident in his tone

You look behind him for a moment and were surprised with the appearance of your dead friends covered in the smoke, your grip tightening his shirt

Your eyes get teary and Levi noticing this turned behind himself and smiles at the sight of them, his friend and family.

You salute, " looks like this is the final results..." you stated

"of their devoted hearts" Levi said after sighing and mimicking your actions

Levi then turns to you and smiles before kneeling down to hug you once more

"is this...freedom?"

After the clean up you sighed after exhaustion, it had been months of the cleanup and everyone had parted their own ways to live their life but popping out of your thoughts, you were met with a hug from behind

"Levi, you scared me" you said in a joking matter, realising your boyfriend's scent

Levi smiled, " its finally over, I don't have a titan form anymore, I have finally reached my dreams and I can finally live a long life with...you" Levi said thinking of his dead friends and their effort  for the world

You smiled and turned around and kissed his cheeks that trailed to his lips

" yes, I think they can finally Rest In Peace now" you said reading Levi's mind

Levi chuckled and you two shared a tendering kiss with the blossoms swaying in the background
