" and that should be the last of the assignments you will have today"

The teacher announced as she flipped through the paper clipboard

You groan and fall back on your desk

Your friend, Historia looks at you in sympathy and nudges to you

" you ok?" She mouths

You nod in response

" it's just I have cheerleading practise today and not to mention, it's a pair project " you frowned

" Who are you with?" Historia asked softly

You sighed and lumped in your chair

" Levi, I hate how every girl circles around him in the hallway, it's always a struggle to get past him and his a jerk too" you groaned

Historia's eyes softens

" You shouldn't say that about someone...ah [y/n] you work so hard, not to mention your a cheerleader captain too, maybe I can help you with the work?" Historia offered

You smiled and shook your head

" no need you see-"

" Ahem" the teacher coughed, alerting you and Historia

You quickly return to your notes and continue to listen to whatever the teacher was talking about

After getting ready in the locker room you walk out and glance at the group of girls and squeeze through them as you get to the grassy field

You were a few minutes late to coach your team so you were in a hurry

You were practising some moves and heard a group of boys running to your group which caught your attention

They all winked at your group and you rolled your eyes

You sighed and ignored the bunch and continued talking until you felt a hand grab your wrist

" oi your [y/n]? Right?" Someone called, it sounded all too familiar

You heard girls squealing behind you in anger as you turned around

You were met with dark icy orbs

" ah it's you" you manage to say

Levi tched and crossed his arms

" brat i didn't ask for this but the teacher insisted, just meet me after school so we can get it over and done with" Levi explained

You nodded, " will do, although cheerleading practising lasts a few minutes after the school time period so you might have to wait a while" you explained

" will do " Levi said as he let go of your wrist

Levi then continued to run while his group followed

" wow [y/n]! Your so lucky" someone said to you

You scoffed inside

" please"

After packing your stuff it was the end of school so you decided not to change as today wasn't as intense like others, your group were just talking most of the time instead of doing your routines

You sigh as you pack your bag and swing it over your shoulder

You check your phone for further notifications before walking out the school gate

You walked out and turned to your side and sure enough, were met with a raven-haired man who was on his phone

You wave with a light hi to catch his attention which worked

He walked over to you

" there is a cafe near so I hope you have all your school stuff" he blankly said before walking forward

You just nodded, a little irritated by his assumption

You walk around the streets until you reached a tea shop or restaurant that was 2 stories high rather than a cafe

You walk in and Levi mumbles something before walking to a table upstairs with his hands in his pockets

You sit near a window and admire the view

" so do you know how to do this?" Levi asked, pointing at the work

You nodded and showed him some notes you took

" good at least your not an idiot" he mumbled

You frowned

" at least I'm not a jerk" you mumbled quietly so he wouldn't hear

Levi continued to write out his plan and his contribution to the work while you did the other half

" that should be it for the day" Levi finally says

You nodded and yawned while stretching for the first time in 2 hours

" we can meet again next week, we did most of the work already" Levi said as he neatly packed his stuff

You looked at him and nodded

You pick up your essentials and pay by the counter from your part and walk outside

You looked outside and saw the pouring rain

" shit I forgot my umbrella" you cursed as it poured down

" tch reckless brat" Levi mumbled As he opened his umbrella

You frowned as he walked out

But then he suddenly stopped and turned back to you waiting, " you coming here or what?" He asked rolling his eyes

You couldn't help but your heart bump a little faster

You nodded and sheepishly got under the umbrella successfully without a single teardrop on you

You continued to walk with Levi, the tension was new,It felt warm and fuzzy

You thought Levi had it too as his cheeks were also flushed red

You shook it off as you continued to walk in the rain But the temperature only worsened

You cross your arms, hands rubbing your shoulders in the cold

As you continued you felt something droop over your shoulders

You looked to see Levi's jacket on your shoulders

" what are you doing-"

" next time bring a jacket for yourself you looked cold" Levi rolled his eyes

You could only nod in reply as your cheeks began to flush red

What was this feeling? It felt so weird...it was unnatural of you to feel like this

After a walk of silence, you reached your house and you turned around and went to your doorstep

You turned back around to see Levi waiting for you to go in

You couldn't help but notice the sparkle in his eyes, right now he looked so attractive although you didn't want to admit it, it had only been one day after getting to know each other

" t-thank you" you said before unlocking your door

" tch, just remember to check the weather next time" Levi lectured

You nodded and smiled before heading inside, just barely seeing a glance at Levi's flushed face

Throughout the time period, you have grown very close to the stoic man, ever since that day you were getting closer and it didn't stop after the assessment was handed in, you grew a liking to Levi which you later found out was actually love

You weren't sure if the monotone man would return back your feelings but best not to ruin the progress you made now

You were currently coaching your team with the new stances at club time, until a group of familiar boys jogged by like always

Levi seemed to walk up to you while your group stared quietly and while his group stayed behind him too

You rose a brow by their actions as the boys would approach your group and your group would be squealing

"u-um [y/n], can I tell you something?" Levi brought up, rubbing his neck

You nodded in response, " what's up?"

"well. i know its been a few months but over that time I've grown a liking to you" Levi said with his pink face

Your heart seemed to run out of your chest, did he really just say what you think he said

"huh Levi-"

before you could finish, a pair of hands cupped your own " I like you...brat "

Your eyes soften and you felt a sense of relief

You could feel all eyes burning onto you but you didn't care at the moment

" I like you too...Levi" you said happily

Levi for the first time smiled and hugged you

Everyone around you chirped in happiness for you

After you parted from the hug, it was accompanied by a kiss on the cheek

"congrats, you make a great couple" was heard all around

You were happy, he was happy

It was a cliche story indeed.
