You look at the view of the sky as you step down the plane stairs

You breathe in the air

You haven't touched the familiar ground in 2 years

You clutch your suitcase handle and walk through the airport like no stranger

Memories come flooding back to you when you farewell everyone you knew and how you broke up with your boyfriend there

"I want to break up Levi" you say casually after waving goodbye to your friends

"why?" Levi, your boyfriend's voice cracked, it was evident to the pain he felt in his heart

"I have to go visit my parents and they decided I might even stay with them" you explain

"but I can handle a long-distance relationship! or come with you or I can change-" Levi argued

Levi eyes glossed and he grabs your hand in his last attempt

"after all those years? how will I find someone else?" Levi said sounding hurt

You turn your head trying not to cry as he clutched your hands while crying

After parting, you watched Levi wipe his tears as you turn back around and cry when you get further apart from him

You walk to the exit of the large airport and meet your friend, Hange

"HEY [Y/N]!" Hange yells to you, catching your attention

You waved

"I missed you!" Hange attacked you in a hug

You smile and hug back, "me too" you reply

"where are the others" you ask, looking around

"there busy, buttttt" Hange said with a mischievous smile like always

"but what?" you ask a little suspicious

"they planned a birthday party for Sasha! and you should come, it will be a nice surprise for the others" Hange said putting her arm around your shoulder

You smile, "I do like parties and I miss the others so sure" you agree

You observe your outfit once more in the mirror and go with it, it was a plain outfit , nothing too fancy and you go outside your hotel room as you meet up with Hange and Mikasa

"[y/n]!" Mikasa came running up to you

She hugs you and murmurs "I missed you" and you smile and repeat the same phrase

"how was your [home/town?]?" Mikasa questioned

"it was good..." you say thinking your departure

"come on, let's go, wait to you see the others" Mikasa cheers you up and you smile

After arriving at the party, Eren and Armin greeted you with a hug

"we missed you!" Eren and Armin said one by one

You smile

"I miss you too" you smile

"why did you come back, I thought you were staying?" Eren asked confused

"well I changed my mind" you reply

"well, we're glad" Armin said like the sweet boy he is

You smile

"isn't it my favourite girl!" Jean said as you parted from the two boys

"hi horse face" you tease giggling

Jean hugs you and you hug back

"see that's how to show someone you miss them" Jean snickered to Eren after you stopped hugging

"oh yeah?" Eren said

"guys really? in front of [y/n]? She just came back give her a break" Armin said gesturing to the boys

You giggled and turned to Hange

"where's Connie and Sasha or Erwin?" you ask

"not asking about Levi?" Hanges teases as she catches on

You roll your eyes at her remark

" never mind, come , I will lead you to them, just so you know, shortie is still into you" Hange pointed out

"yeah right" you said, part of you wanted to believe it was real

You only come back otherwise

After catching up with everyone, Hange led you to Erwin and Levi and you were a bit nervous

"hey guys, [y/n] is back!" Hange exclaimed

You glance at Levi and bite your lip slightly and realise he hadn't changed and he looked at you with wide eyes, it was a surprise visit after all

Erwin stood up and gave you a hug

"We all missed you" Erwin happily said

You smile and murmur, " me too"

You then part of the hug and sit down with Hange joining you, awkwardly exchanging glances with Levi

"not going to give her a hug shortie?" Hange teased

Levi said nothing and looked away from you, making you frown

You then decided to catch up on Erwin and Hange a bit more

After a while, the gifts were unwrapped and it was mostly food and everyone got wasted but you only took one shot to be safe

"hey [y/n], Levi's drunk, can you take him home, he lives at the same house" Armin pointed out to you

You glance at Levi

"why me?" you asked confused

"well...I'm busy with someone else...and everyone is wasted, just look at Mikasa and Eren" Armin glanced at Annie and the two love-struck lovers

You look at the three of the people and nod, they were wasted

"fine, thanks Armin" you wave your hand dismissively

You look at Levi with sad eyes and decided to lift him up

"w-what are you doing?" Levi slurred

"somehow you got drunk drinking too much, so I'm taking you home" you mumble

Levi complies and you call a taxi

"here Levi" you put him in the taxi

Levi falls down on the seat of the taxi and you knew he was too drunk and you had to aid him

"fuck Levi, your so annoying when your drunk" you whin as you get in the taxi with him

After the long intense ride of Levi accidentally falling on your shoulder, you managed to get his keys and unlock his house and somehow find your way to his room

"your lucky I remember your address" you mumble to him

You place him on the bed after getting in his home and get a glass of water and notice he kept the picture frame of him and you by his bed and it made you feel saddened

You sit down next to him and he looks at you

"[y/n]" Levi said quietly

You hum in response

"why do you hate me so much?" Levi almost whispered

"what?" you act confused

"you broke my heart like it was nothing then you show up, I missed you and I still want you but you make it so difficult" Levi said beginning to sober up after the glass of water

You feel the guilt on your shoulders, realising the damage you done

"Levi...i have to..go" you mumble

You stand up and were about to leave but Levi grabs your hand and pulls you into the bed with him

"please don't leave me" Levi mumbles as he strokes your hair

You couldn't help but feel drowsy and suddenly sleepy as he combed your hair softly breathing calmy as he cuddled you

As the sun beamed directly on your eyes you yawn quietly and try to stretch but see the arms snaked around you

Suddenly everything from last night come flooding back to you

You sneakily get out of Levi's arms and leave, taking one glance at his sleeping figure

You get up and wash up in the bathroom, fixing your hair and decided to make Levi some of his favourite black tea as a parting gift

After pouring the tea you hear someone walking down the stairs slowly

You turn to the source of the sound and see Levi rubbing his face

"why are you here [y/n]?" Levi asked as he came closer to the counter

"you were drunk and I accidentally fell asleep with you" you explain

Levi nods as you serve him his favourite tea

"did I say anything embarrassing?" Levi asked staring at his reflection in the tea

You reflect on what he said and shake your head

After seconds of silence, you try to excuse yourself

"Levi I will get going-"

"First, you break up with me, saying you've fallen out of love with me, then you show up without warning and you return my butterflies all over again? and then you leave again?" Levi questions, repeating last night's words

You turn back to him

"Levi you won't understand-"

"no, I would understand, I still love you [y/n], I tried moving on but I couldn't, you still remain stuck in my head" Levi said, hurt evident in his tone

You begin you tear up

"Levi I still love you too but-"

"but what?" Levi asked walking towards you

" but my parents didn't approve and everyone called me names and insulted me for having you, Levi, I'm not good enough for you, but I came back for you and now I regret it, seeing you hurt I-" you explain

Levi hugs you without a word and you melt in the hug and began to cry

"I'm sorry, I missed you so much" you murmur crying on his shoulder

Levi squeezes you tightly

"you were always right for me [y/n], just the way you are, I wouldn't have caught feelings for you otherwise" Levi explained

You smile and after you parted, you both shared a passionate kiss

"I missed you so much, can you be mine again?" Levi say stroking your face softly after you part your lips

You smile at his soft expression

"yes, Levi, I will be yours again"
