You then walk to your beaten up house with no where to go that was in a  terrible condition and sighed before walking to the door, trembling at the door knob, your key missing the key hole several times

You went in and saw your drunk step dad yelling at the TV

" where the hell have you been??? get me another beer" he asked, slurring which was evident of intoxication

You complied not wanting another red cheek and placed it down

" little shit, skip school tomorrow and work like a good girl" your step dad yelled before gulping down the stained beer 

You tightly grip your hands, disgusted and walk up the stairs and lock the door and fall to your knees

Another day like the rest, the cycle never stops

Your only comfort was at school and of course you had to go, you missed a weeks work of school work

" HEY COME DOWN HERE" your step dad echoed through the hallway

You sigh before taking your time down the stairs

The next day you heisted getting your school cloths set and your bag. After it was all done, you sneak down the stairs as your snoring step dad slept on the couch, observing in disgust, you then walk out the door quickly

Upon reaching outside you ran to the bus stop, there's no turning back now

You take a glance at him and clutch your bag straps as you reach nearer at your house

" ah, you can go now, I can walk the rest home" you pointed

" I can wait for you to go inside" Levi stood there like an stubborn child

You sigh and walk to your REAL beaten up house and open the door, glancing back at Levi

" if you don't text me in 5 minutes saying your okay, I'm busting the door down" Levi explained

You look at him with sad eyes

" also your bags unzipped" Levi zipped your bag

" why do you care so much?" You asked curiously hoping he walk away or that your dad was wasted at a nearby pub

" I just do, now go inside, unless you are in trouble?" Levi catches on

" no everything is fine, look I'm going inside" you say quickly as you walk in your intoxicated house

Suddenly he chokes you and you get terrified as he drags you up ignoring your pleas

Suddenly as you were about to run out of air your step dad falls to the ground and there you saw Levi angry as ever as he punched him

"[y/n], go into your room and lock yourself In there and don't go out until I say so" Levi said with anger in his eyes

You nod and ran up stairs, locking the door and covering your ears

Hearing screaming and a lot of thuds You wishes it to be all over

After what felt like hours, the door opened you saw Levi all bloodied up and this, horrified you

so you  hesitantly pack everything, after that was done, Levi took your hand and walked you to the bus station and there stood a car that was Levi's

" get in" Levi asked seriously

You nod and get in, still shaking and trembling

As Levi drove, you felt the tension rise, it was obvious he was pissed off and after seeing that, you couldn't help but cry quietly, trying to wipe your tears

After reaching his house he got out of the car and dragged you along and opened the door to his house

You walk in and was amazed at the cleaning ness of the house

" make yourself at home..." Levi grumbled

You turn to him

" this is way to generous, you didn't have to-"

" quiet...I do what I want to do, I will take care of you until you can get yourself a house got it? Do you have any relatives?" Levi explained

" yeah I do" You nod slowly and set down your bags

After unpacking in a spare room you hear Levi lean on the door frame of the spare room

" go take a shower while I make a call" Levi requested

You nod slowly as you try to stand but your leg felt sudden pain and you hissed at it

Without a second to waste Levi supports you and dragged you slowly to the bathroom

" there... what? do you need help bathing?" Levi asked as you stared at him with pleading eyes

You nod and he scoffs

You start to undress as Levi covers his emotions and as you hop in the bubble bath that covered your nude body Levi slowly leaned on the brim of the bath tub

" how much?" Levi asked getting soap and a sponge

" like 10 bruises?" You replied, lifting your arm

" why didn't you tell me...brat, I feel like a selfish jerk" Levi replied as he washed your arms

" you weren't, I just couldn't tell you" you say trying not to cry

" well you should of" Levi replied, getting angry at each bruise he came across

" that fucking lowlife bastard" Levi mumbled under his breathe

" why do you care so much Levi? We just friends..." you mumble after seconds of silence

" you know, I care because I like you okay? [y/n]? I like you" Levi repeated making you blush as he washed your back carefully

" now come on, get changed" Levi said after a while

You nod as he turned his head and walks out the bathroom

You look at the door and smile

Levi parts your shoulder as you cuddle and kisses your forehead

" I like you too" you reply as you rest on your safe place
