The ringing sensation came from your chest, red was bleeding through your clothes and the rain poured like wildfire over you but suddenly it stopped and was shaded by a figure 

"Hey [y/n] you ok?" You hear a familiar voice

"L-Levi?" you ask weakly

You feel him squeeze your hand tightly

" help is coming please stay alive you " Levi said softly as he held back the painful tears

You hear him cry and you wipe his tears slowly off his face

" don't...cry...stay strong" you say weakly, trying not to cry too

" I can't! I lost everyone and everything and I don't want to lose you, what makes you think you..you can leave me in this hell..." Levi said frustrated at himself for this cruel life

" your the only one that brightens up the hell..." he finished crying harder as he saw your weak state 

" why? Why didn't you let me die, why did you have to sacrifice yourself, your way more special then I am or ever will be, you make a difference" Levi sobbed as he cupped her bloody hands

You cupped his face ignoring the weak state you fostered

"don't worry, just hold on for me" Levi squeezed your hand

Levi looked at your face with such loving eyes and pecked your lips ever so softly

Even with his tears time stopped, even in your soon to be last moments he seemed sincere

"look at the trick i can do Levi" you say doing spins in mid-air

You hear him chuckle and you admire his face

"you think i can overtake your role?" you say curiously as you and him were on the lookout

"as if, anyway no goofing around, keep your eyes out" Levi said rolling his eyes

"you see any titans yet? no, it's hard to see them in the rain anyway" you said looking around

"no, there shouldn't be one around..." Levi looked around carefully

Suddenly his eye widened and you look at the source

"shit titans! how?" you say getting in my fighting stance, drawing your blades

"they shouldn't be this far-"

"[Y/N]!" you hear Levi yelp as something big snakes around you

You glance up and see the horrifying titan

You scream in pain as it squeezes tighter around you

Suddenly the titan lets go and you fall down but luckily Levi catches you quickly

"[Y/N] YOU OKAY?" you hear Levi yell at you, his face with blood 

You suddenly cough out blood

"shit" you hear Levi mumble in stress

"eyes on me [l/n]" Levi say moving your chin a little

You cough more blood

"shit where are they?" you hear Levi yell in frustration

Levi glances back at you and cups your face

"you can move on without me" you manage to murmur

"shut up, your not dying save some energy...please..." Levi begged, fearing the worse too

You nod and cup his cheeks

Never have you ever see humanity's strongest cry...

Suddenly you feel your vision start to blur, the strength to open your eyes faded 

"Levi" you mumble as it gets blurred

"[y/n]! [y/n]!" you hear Levi yell!

"please..." was the last thing you heard before you slept

~ L e v i ' s P O V ~

I cry in pain as I watched my lover slowly fade away

A position on this hell without her, isn't a life worth living for...

"LEVI!" I hear a familiar voice

I see Hange approach me and immediately come to the aid [y/n] after seeing her state

"we still have time come on" Hange called as she gestured me to pick her up

I pick [y/n] up and admire her for maybe the last time and kiss her soft lips and follow Hange quickly

I sit there waiting in the infirmary, tears dried out, I don't think I have any tears left  

what if-

no, no bad thoughts, shes strong, shes strong I repeatedly told myself, only making me fear the worst-case scenarios

Hange then exits the infirmity and I stand up

"is she ok?" I ask really nervously with trembling hands

Hange doesn't face me and shakes her head sadly meaning- no, it can't be...

My heart dropped and I ran past her, to foster [y/n]

I walk in the room and see [y/n] in her bed and hold her hand

"I told you to keep fight-ing" I say trying not to sob and break apart

I look at her pretty face and stroke it softly

"Levi...she's dead" Hange confirms

I feel tears come from my eyes rapidly

please...don't die [y/n]

I wake up all of a sudden and look around, observing my surroundings

"Levi, you can visit her now" Hange said coming out of a room

"where am I "I massage my head in pain

"oh, the infirmity, you slept here, you were here the whole night" Hange explains, rubbing her neck

I sigh in relief

It was just a dream

thank fucken god wait-

"is she okay?" I ask

"yeah, we were able to save her" Hange smiled weakly at me

I stand up and run into the room she was held in

I look at her sleeping figure, she was breathing fine and I smiled and came beside and cup her hands

"I thought you died" I mumble under my breath, talking to myself 

Then as if fate looked upon me I heard a voice reply to me 

"why would I?" I hear

I look up at her delicate face and see her eyes open and her breathing normally

Suddenly I feel so relieved and hug her

"dont you EVER do that again!" I lecture her

I feel her smile and she hugs me back, patting my back

"sorry I was just trying to save your ass" she jokes

I release her from her hug and kiss her face softly

"you scared the shit out of me [y/n]" I said again after giving her many pecks of kisses

"you know I'm strong" [y/n] giggles

I smile, her giggles are all I love to hear

"anything I miss, how long was I out, any serious injuries?" [y/n] asked after a second of realisation she was in an infirmary bed

"you just need rest and only for a day..." I mumble to her

"you really are strong [y/n], thus why I fell in love with you," I say stroking her face

[y/n] chuckled at my comment 

"you also missed one thing..." I add a bit nervously 

She raises a brow in confusion

"I been meaning to tell you this sooner" I explained, tightly squeezing her hands 

"what was it " [y/n] listened, curiously 

I get something from my pocket, it wasn't in the best condition but it was now or never 

"look [y/n], I love you and life is short, so will spend the rest of these years on this hell with me?" I asked pulling out a gold diamond ring that complimented her shining eyes

I hear her gasp and hug me

"yes, i will Levi"
