This was the first time shes actually texted me before. I stared at her message, finding something to say to her. But I just couldn't. I didn't want to leave Scaramouche. I didn't want to know what she had planned for me at home either. So I just didn't respond to her. For the whole day to be exact.

Finally Ajax messaged me back.

I close our messages and hear Scaramouche open his door, I go out and tell him about lunch. Not mentioning even the slightest thing about my mom. He put the location in his phone for later. And went downstairs. I didn't know what he was doing being honest. It was already around 11:50 so it was too late for breakfast. After a minute I was in my room and heard him knocking at my door. I go opening it to see him holding a glass of water and two medicine pills.

"I wasn't lying when I said you were still hot. Take the medicine before we go out" he says handing me the medicine. I keep the glass of water and shoo him away to start getting ready. I set the glass on the nightstand next to the bed. And then start rummaging through all the clothes i brought to try and find something nice to wear. I landed on a black turtle neck, some jeans and my favorite jacket.

I put my hair in a low ponytail, then add on some jewelry, and then put on my favorite shoes. I go out of my room to see Scara get out at the same time. He looked comfortable in what he was wearing, it fit him well.

He just looked at me after realizing I was there

"Why are you staring its creepy."  He said questioning me.

"I was not staring if you excuse me, you look good though Kunikuzushi" he's still not used to me calling him Kunikuzushi. You could tell just the way his face reacts, and as he looks away from me every time I say it. Its honestly adorable

The location Ajax sent for lunch was about a 30 minute drive and it was about 12:15 now, so we thought it was a good time to leave.

We get outside and it was still cold as ever. Almost everything was ice by now, from the rain from last night.

The drive there was nice, there was just some small talk here and there between us. Scaramouche was still trying to fully wake up, every time he would talk a yawn from him would cut him off. All I could do was laugh at him

We finally make it to the restaurant, I can see Ajax's car so I knew they were already here. I was kinda nervous, this was the first time Id be seeing Signora After 6 months. Scara finds a place to park and we both get out to meet up with them.

"There they are!!!" Ajax points at us and starts waving. I could never take him seriously with that big ass red scarf he would always wear. I could see Signora draw her attention away from her phone to look where Ajax was pointing.

"Ur kidding. Y/N ITS BEEN SO LONG!!" She says running up and immediately hugging me. She gotten taller over the 6 months shes been gone. Having her back was nice though.

"Oh ur here too. Wassup my bro Kunikuzushi" she lets go of me and goes over to Kuni

"I told you not to call me that you dumbass." He looks so annoyed by her. I laughed, I didn't know that they knew each other that well

"I know but im still calling you Kunikuzushi! If your little girlfriend can then so can I!"

Me and Scara both turn over to Ajax knowing he was the one who told her.

"What? I had to check her up on mostly everything!" He says shrugging

"Were not together. How many times do I have to say that!" Scara then looks back at Signora

"Oh honey....you two are just in denial." She then looks back and fourth between me and him.

"How about we go inside and stop standing out here in the cold looking like crazy people!" Ajax interrupts the two and takes my hand leading me inside in the restaurant.

The time all four of us had together was actually great! I sat next to Ajax and across from Scara. We felt so close to each other like we've all been friends for such a long time, it wasn't wrong tho. We all have been, just not with everyone. Throughout the time I kept getting messages from my mother.

10 UNREAD MESSAGES FROM "mother" !

I was so frustrated. Yet I didn't want to show it on my face for anyone to be confused. But I guess Scara already noticed. He kicked my leg which immediately got me to look up at him. There was a look of confusion on his face as his eyes were trying to say 'what's wrong?'. I tried to brush it off like it was nothing. But he wasn't falling for it, he's felt more protective over me ever since yesterday. I didn't mind it though. But I had to try and convince him that nothing was going on. Every time I brushed it off he wouldn't believe me.

It was about 3pm now. We all finished our food and decided it was time to leave. Scara stops me before we leave the restaurant. After Ajax and Signora already said their goodbyes and left.

"What's wrong? You've been hiding something" he says holding my wrist

"Nothing! Really! I swear" I keep trying my hardest to brush it off

"Your lying Y/n. I wont force it out of you anymore. Now come on lets get back." He gets up and leaves the restaurant. Almost sounding annoyed with himself.

The ride back was quite. Until we reached town. I decide to open up the messages from my mom to see what she needed to yell at me for.

Mother
You need to come home now Y/n.

God damnit answer your mother you brat.

Ayaka told me about this boy. What the fuck Y/n. Your fucking stupid

Well he's gone. I left the door open last night and he ran out. I didn't bother trying to get him though, he's your cat.

I froze at those last two texts. She knows how much Apollo means to me. He's been my cat ever since I was 3. My support animal throughout all the fights I had to hear from my parents. After my father left us. Left me. Apollo was the only thing I could talk to for a while. The only one who would listen to me. He meant everything to me. He meant the world to me.
