I snapped out of my thoughts, returning back to the fight. I heard shockwaves traveling through the air, avoiding each one effortlessly. I finally had gotten close enough to slice him, unleashing the full potential of my seventh form. His limbs had gotten cut off, blood spewed out, and he hadn't regenerated till we hit the found.

"SEE Y/N! YOU'RE MEANT TO BECOME A DEMON!!"

"GO TO MOTHERFUCKING HELL."

The night sky was getting lighter, dawn was getting closer, I had to keep him here till sunrise or slice his head off.

I had gotten a glimpse of my arms, I thought the markings were scars, but instead, they wrapped around my limbs, and there were also noticeable flowers, what was this?

My eyelids were giving up on me, I fought to stay awake, Akaza's attack constantly coming at me. I unleashed forms just one after the other, not giving in a single bit.

The upper-rank showing no mercy. My blade clashing with his flesh echoed throughout the town, the damage was immeasurable.

That dirt road had shattered, leaving markings of our steps and attacks. The buildings took the hits that missed one another, red liquid had been splattered on the walls, I assumed most of the blood was mine.

My state right now was not good at all, blood had been constantly leaking, leaving stains in my uniform.

There was a pause in the battle, that's when the exhaustion had caught up to me. I had to slice off his head now.

My blade dug into his neck once again, this had to be it. The horizon turned orange and he attempted to shove my blade away from his neck.

Akaza was getting frantic by the second, I wouldn't allow him to get away. His leg moved swiftly, I guess I had been too exhausted to block it.

A strong blow hit my side, I got thrown across the town but not before crashing through a building and tumbling to meet another wall.

Blood shot out of my mouth from the impact, my vision became spotty. I attempted to lift myself once again, only to crash on my knees and fall to the ground face-first.

I saw his silhouette, my teeth clenched at the sight. He had tossed my weapon next to me, I pushed myself by crawling to it.

"TILL WE MEET AGAIN!"

"..go fuck.. yourself!"

He laughed out loud and ran off to avoid the rising sun. I felt the rays of light on my body, it felt so warm, I can't feel much.

"Don't worry, you'll be just fine!" Kyojuro was kneeling next to me, was I that close to death?

"Kyojuro.. I was.. too weak."

"THERE! LADY L/N, PLEASE STAY AWAKE!! HELP IS HERE!"

I was met with the uniform of a kakushi, I had gotten picked up onto a stretcher and they began running off. I only stared up at the clouds, I hope Tokito likes the garden, it's a good view to watch the clouds.

"You've been told.. I'm a pillar.. already?" A weak laugh fell from my lips, "Lovely.. clouds.."

"PLANT PILLAR STAY AWAKE!!"

Tears fell from the kakushi's masks, the whole time they were yelling at me to stay awake, I couldn't feel anything in my body, to die here would be kind of pathetic of me. A small smile stayed on my lips, I wouldn't want to worry them.

"Get-- I need you to leave-- work with all of you in here--"

Shinobu's speech was cutting in and out, I hadn't realized I was now on a bed. The sheets had become a deep red, was I that injured..? I was tired, a nap won't hurt. Though when I closed my eyes, more shouting erupted. I didn't mind right now.. I just want to sleep.

After was had seemed forever in the dark, and following the sound of multiple voices, I had found my eyes opening again.

That was a short nap.

A bright light shone in my eyes, I heard the birds chirping outside. The moment I tried to move, I got slapped with a burning pain.

I lifted my shirt and saw a large gash that had been stitched up. As I pushed myself up, enduring the pain, I heard footsteps approaching the door.

"Are you awake?"

I turned my head to the tatami door, my eyes slightly widened, I didn't expect him to be here..

"What.." I had gotten cut off by my own coughing, I started to wheeze trying to recollect my breath

"Here, Kocho had asked me to bring you this." He held a cup of medical water in front of me

My hands reached out to take it, only for them to start trembling, "How long.. have I ..been asleep?"

A small pause, "Two days.. or was it three- weeks?"

"Weeks?!" I shut my mouth tight after that yell, it felt like my throat was burning

"You might want to question Kocho about it, would you like some help?" He pointed at the tea cup in my trembling hands

I slowly nodded, knowing if I attempted it on my own, I would just spill it all over myself. He took the cup from my hands and held it up to my lips, I slowly drank the medical water, and felt relief right after, even though it was bitter..

"Thank you, Tokito." I gave him a weak smile with my eyes closed

"Mm, yeah." A tiny smile seemed to have tugged at his lips as well, going unnoticed by me

Another set of footsteps neared closer, and someone else entered the room, "Y/n? You're awake! Tokito, you should've called out for someone.. oh well it can't be helped."

"Sorry, I forgot." Tokito stepped back so Shinobu could check my wounds

"Seems like everything is healed, besides the one on your side. That medical water should've eased all the pain so if you'd like you can return home, or stay here if you are too exhausted."

A sudden grumble left my stomach, there was silence for a quick second before I covered my red face from embarrasment. Shinobu patted my back comfortingly, as I apologized.

"If you are hungry we should go back to that udon place.." Tokito suggested

Stars entered my eyes as I thought of all the delicous food, "Yes! I'm so hungry!!"

"I'll leave your uniform and haori here for you alright? Tokito why don't you pass out the rest of the medical water for me?"

Both the insect and mist pillar had left the room, I willed myself to get out of bed, Shinobu was right about the medical water, that burning pain I had felt disspeared and I felt normal again. I slipped into my uniform and threw on my haori.

AHHHHHH ok please how did that fight go was it good because im so uneasy abt it I have zero idea on action LMAOO anyway yes y/n unlocked her demon slayer mark yes she will die before 25 yes I am going to not mind the curse and forget it exists.

PLEASE READ THIS

I want to explain her mark more so basically her mark covers her arms, and legs. They have multiple kinds of flowers that look like they're growing out of the vines, some fringed iris, kaneshon, cherry blossoms, and differnt herbs. They're small-ish so the flowers basically represent memories that have happened before and when she brings back the demon slayer mark which im planning more flowers wil be on there. did i explain that well idk LMAOO I will explain the cherry blossoms later and the herbs. (Her past memories coming)
