You did tell your father that you would eat with them again after eating with Penelope once but uh. You lied.

Eating with Penelope is so fun! And it's not fair that she's trapped in her room while the rest of your family gets to eat together so you started eating with her everyday despite reynold and derricks protest since your father agreed.

Penelope always seemed to have finished her food before you come..you found it odd but just assumed she was a fast eater. You always shared your food with her anyways though

After a while Penelope finally became close to you and was able to smile and laugh without feeling nervous which you were incredibly happy about.

A while later Penelope started hanging out in a room on the top floor basically an attic? You don't really care honestly. Penelope showed it to you and you guys always hang out there now but with Yvonne's room being close to you you always have a pained feeling in your chest when walking past it

The night of the festival every year Penelope asks to be alone in the attic and you were curious why but respected her wishes since she probably just wanted to see the lights alone.

You didn't wanna be up there at the night of the festival anyways..that's the day Yvonne went missing. It haunts you to this day so you never were a big fan of it.

Currently though Penelope and you were reading a book together and you really enjoyed it

Maybe it was childish but you both are still children after all.

It was a fantasy book you found once when it fell on your head but hey maybe it was worth it cause you asked Penelope to read it to you like how sisters do and she did!!

This was nice. You really liked having Penelope as a sister..sometimes she would yell at servants or cause a scene but that's because nobody taught her properly!!

So you'll be the best little sister in the world and help your sister through all her problems!
Not that she currently has any problems that you don't know of. You're sisters! You tell each other everything!! Penelope would never hide anything from you..right?

While Penelope was reading you started getting tired and your vision got hazy as you close your eyes to sleep your head lands on a shoulder. Probably Penelope's but you were too tired to check and just fell asleep

When you woke up again you felt yourself being hugged while laying down on the ground you finally sit up straight and see Penelope sleeping right next to you and instantly start to feel bad that she fell asleep on the ground cause of you

But..she looked calm. You enjoyed the sight and you didn't wanna disturb her sleep so you just sat there silently just staring at her. Was it creepy? Maybe. Do you care? Not really. You'll protect your sister while she sleeps! And when she's awake too!

After ten minutes you see her start to open her eyes only halfway though, she rubs her eyes as she slowly sits up straight and you smile at her

"Sister! Did you have a good sleep? I made sure to protect you while you were sleeping!"

You said happily as she just smiled and patted your head. Oh how much she enjoyed your presence.

You guys chat about a bunch of random things before pennel or fennel whatever his name was all you know is he's your dad's loyal servant or whatever.

"The duke requested lady [name] to be present during this dinner."

You just sit there blankly. Dinner? Wasn't it just like super early in the morning? Did you and Penelope really sleep that entire day??

And also why only you! Why didn't they request Penelope too..you just glare at him

"I don't want to! Tell him I refuse."
He looked a bit confused before respectfully bowing and saying

"Lady it was your father's only request since you said yourself you would eat with them again but didn't fulfill that promise please just eat with them today."

You were about to refuse again not wanting to leave Penelope but you hear Penelope say

"It's fine. Don't argue sister please just do it."

You were startled a bit when Penelope said that but just pout a bit before finally sighing and nodding
"If it's what you want then sure sister. But I'll eat with you tomorrow so don't forget about me!"

You said waving bye to Penelope as you follow the old man outta the room. Yeah that's what you'll call him. Old man.

You make it to the dining room after being escorted by old man and just silently go sit down near your father and directly on the opposite side of your brothers ignoring Reynolds's remarks of you taking too long

You don't say anything and just eat bored outta your mind. Your brothers were a lot older than you so it wasn't easy talking to them you really wish penny was here right now..

no..Penelope asked you to come here! So for her you won't be in a bad mood or anything but suddenly you remember something as you turn to your father smiling excitedly

"Father! Can you get me fantasy type of books? I really like them!!"

Penelope would also really enjoy them too! You guys can read them together like sisters..that's exciting.

The duke looked confused by your request but nodded before saying

"You were never interested in those types of things before. What's with the sudden interest?"

You just happily smile since he nodded and answer his question while saying

"Me and sister read them together! It's a lot of fun!!"

And again all eyes go to you. Great. Reynold then says since he never seems to be quiet

"That witch again? You're really spending time with a replacement? Are you dumb or something!"

He said glaring angrily jeez what was his problem? You just glare back and say

"Sister isn't a witch or replacement! Don't be so rude you dummy!!"

Who are they to talk about her like that? They're so rude to sister for nothing you really hate it. If they weren't older than you then you would've tackled Reynold already.

"[name]."

Derrick suddenly saying with his gaze on the table before looking at you glaringly

"Don't be so impolite. Wasting your time defending a commoner won't get you anywhere."

Damn bastard. You look at Derrick with annoyance

"Sister isn't a commoner! You're the one being impolite. She's your sister too don't be so stupid!"

You looked at your father confused

"Father why aren't you saying anything? They're insulting sister!"

Your father just stayed quiet. Why isn't he doing anything??

"[name]. That's no way to speak to your brothers don't do it again unless you wanna be punished."

..what now? He's lecturing you but not them?..this is stupid. You really dislike this.

Before you could even speak again the duke says

"Reynold and Derrick you both too. Don't speak of your sister in such a manner."

Reynold rolls his eyes while Derrick doesn't say anything just staring at you. Dammit. This is so unfair. You didn't have the power to say anything you really hate this.

After eating and sneaking some food under your dress you go back to Penelope's room and happily go inside wanting to see her again. You see her sitting on her bed silently

"Sister!! Here look! I got some food so we can still eat together!"

You say smiling as you climb onto her bed and give her some food while taking the other half. You made sure not to eat a lot during dinner so you could save your appetite to eat with penny

You were waiting in Penelope's room worriedly. Apparently she made a scene and threw her food at one of the servants so she was getting lectured by your father..you wanted to go in and defend her but you didn't even know what happened or anything nor would anyone allow you inside..

You just felt like Penelope wouldn't do it for no reason..maybe the servant did something? Ugh no they wouldn't dare injure someone in the eckart family.

Then what did happen? Maybe you should ask Penelope..

I'm so confused right now. I was thinking about like yk making [name] have a reverse harem with the male leads like calisto, vinter, and eclis.
But I genuinely don't know. Cause Penelope has to raise their favourability to escape like yeah the main plot so I don't know how that would work.

Please let me know if you do want a reverse harem with the male leads and if you have any ideas that can help it work out or if you have one character you really want to be the male lead. It's a fan fiction after all so it won't affect the original so please let me know before I start going into the main plot
