I honestly only made this book cause I only know one other actually interesting ditoeftv x reader book and it was kinda upsetting since I love this manhwa 😞
So I decided to make one myself and then a couple months later read it after I forget everything about it just so I can actually read one even if it's a bit desperate lmfao.

I only posted this book since I did assume there's like a couple people who also want the same thing as me but aren't motivated to make a book. And this book got three hundred reads on quotev in such a short amount of time so that proves my point and

Alright. You have a plan! So you're gonna pretend you're sneaking out. You'll wait for Reynold to go to the training grounds and then go through the secret hole in the wall (forgot what it was) and go out exactly when he walks by! Then hopefully he'll ask to come with but if he doesn't then you just plan to ask him to in some type of way. But the only problem with that is you have no idea where the hell derrick is.

You can't guarantee that he'll even come so you either have to look for him and then ask him to come with you or just go with Reynold. The thing is when you asked the system about it the only drawback from not going with Derrick too is that you'll only get 3 intel instead of 5 intel in general. Which fucking sucks. But knowing Derrick he definitely wouldn't agree with the fact he'll take over the eckart name when he's older..so it's gonna have to do, anything helps to save Penelope after all.

Yeah maybe you should've thought on how damn boring this would be. You were just waiting for Reynold to walk this way so you can pretend you're trying to go to the village alone. You were gonna ask your father but he isn't here at the moment and is working on some random busy shit you honestly don't know.

(Cuz plot) Reynold appears, thank goodness the butler wasn't lying when he told you that Reynold had been coming to the training grounds more frequently so now was your chance! You quickly walk in his direction pretending to look cautiously and act surprised as you turn to see him staring at you in confusion

"[name]?? What the hell are you doing?"

Jeez finally you can get this dumb quest over with. As you just stare at him blankly. It was odd. To have to look at them after they stood by when Penelope got killed or were the reason she got killed. But whatever.

"I wanted to go out to the village. Cause of the fact I was recently ill I didn't wanna tell father, so I'm going alone."

You say nonchalantly hoping he'll suggest to go with you, as he just glared at you

"Seriously? You're going without a guard? You know how dangerous that is don't you? Dumbass."

Dammit you hate this guy. Isn't he gonna say he'll come with you?? You just smile apologetically even though you wanted to smack him in the face, you're still only eleven after all so if he doesn't suggest to go with you then he's a horrible brother! Well he already is too penelope.

"I know but..I didn't wanna bother anyone so I was gonna go by myself.."

You cannot act for your life you felt like you were about to start laughing jeez, he just looked at you before signing in something that seemed like annoyance.

Damn you were so stupid in his eyes

"Fine since you want it so bad I'll go with you."

You know that's what you wanted but you can't help but ask while tilting your head

"You're only fifteen though. What help would you be?"

You weren't even trying to be rude just curious on what he would even be able to do. Apparently he didn't like that answer as he hits your forehead with his fingers (no idea what it's called) while glaring at you with a look that can kill

"It's better than you who would piss your pants at the sight of a fucking sword!"

Well you killed yourself with a sword more than a hundred times but he doesn't need to know that. You just roll your eyes but nod anyways

"Okay whatever. Let's go then."

You then walk off without a word expecting him to follow you..only for him to tug on your wrist and pull you back and start walking in front of you while dragging you along.

"I'm older so I'm going in the front."

"Ironic. You're older but act like a five year old, instead of a fifteen year old."

"Shut up! You can't be talking you stupid midget."

"Midget?..you're so unoriginal.."

"Shut up I said!!"

It's been a long time since you and Reynold last hung out. Hanging out with Penelope is more enjoyable but this works too. Reynold agrees to make sure no guards or servants see you so you're both currently trying to find a way out, you both were peaking behind a wall so you both can see if there's a clear way where the guards aren't looking so you can go.
This could all have been solved if you asked for permission but you would have to wait for the duke to come back and you were honestly not in the mood and just wanted to finish the quest

Currently you both were seeing if it was clear to sneak out or not and just before you both were about to leave you hear a deep voice from behind you

"What are you idiots doing?"

You turn around to see Derrick

(forgot how to spell his name for a minute 😣😣)
Okay whatever even if he scared the shit outta you now if he joins you then you'll be able to get more info! You then just bluntly say

"We're gonna go to the village to hang out. Do you wanna come too?"

Honestly you never imagined a day where you would ask him that but you did. He just looks at you before rolling his eyes with a heavy sigh before nodding in agreement and you can't help but say

"Why do you both act like you didn't wanna come? Admit it. you wanna spend time with one of your wonderful sisters."

They just glare at you as Derrick lets out a grunt but joins you both anyways. He said something of how both you and Reynold are immature children so he'll come to be your guard basically. at least you're doing the quest.

Turns out there was a special event or something in the village as it was incredibly crowded. But at least you're getting the quest done right? You would never admit it but this was..fun. It would be a lot more fun with Penelope instead of these idiots though. The entire reason you were enjoying yourself is that you found a lot of things that reminded you of Penelope and wanted to get it for her!!

While admiring a beautiful dark pinkish hair-clip in the shape of a flower cause it made you think of Penelope of one glance at it, Reynold was standing next to you and says with a hint of curiosity

"I didn't know you were into these type of stuff."

As if it was a reflex you say while still keeping your gaze on the hair clip

"It's not for me. It's for sister."

You didn't even realize you said it, you were just used to it when you ask your father for something and he talks about how you weren't used to this type of stuff before.

Reynold glares at nothing in hatred and annoyance while Derrick just scoffs and you can't help but look at both of them cause if the reaction they had to what you said

"What about it? This matches sister and her beauty."

Derrick doesn't say anything but of course Reynold does since he's such a damn big mouth

"You're so odd. Did you really get attached to that ratty commoner?"

You glare at him just cause of the name but he continued

"You're so weird, you know that? When Yvonne went missing I never expected you to immediately move on and treat some commoner as your sister. She isn't Yvonne and you know it."

..he can't ever shut up can he? You did care a lot when Yvonne went missing. You cried for nights and didn't even eat for a whole week cause you missed her so bad. She was your sister and that won't change. Even if the person who comes back in the future is different from the Yvonne you know that doesn't change how much you cared for her in the past.

Sure..when Penelope first came you were happy. You had a sister again. Sure you thought about Yvonne sometimes when you saw Penelope smiling. But you never ever saw her as a replacement for Yvonne. She was someone who was suffering for the misfortunes of others and got blamed for it the second she entered the eckart mansion. You wanted to help her and that won't change. You don't say that though, you just stay silent for a bit before glaring at Reynold

"If she was a replacement in your eyes. Why didn't you treat her like one? What happened to Yvonne isn't Penelope's fault nor is she to blame for any of it. Father took her in and she accepted it cause she wanted a better home."

Do you know that? not explicitly no. You don't know what she wanted. But whatever it was is something she never got from anyone here.
After those words none of you spoke a word about it again throughout the trip, although there was an act going on by some beautiful lady and when you and your brothers went to check it out you stared in awe for like five whole minutes when watching her she was so captivating..

"..she's so pretty"

You mumble while Reynold and Derrick stand on each side of you they didn't look as impressed as you. Buzzkills.

"She just looks normal, you're just weird [name]."

Reynold replies blankly not seeing the hype about it. Why did you seem so in awe about it? He can't understand you at all. Derrick instead glances at you before saying

"Stop staring like that you look like a creep. Don't ruin the eckart reputation with looking at something so plain like that."

He makes no sense sometimes. You can't ruin it by staring at a beautiful lady performing. Ugh whatever. You just stick your tongue out at both of them

"You guys just don't know how to appreciate true beauty! Since you're both too ugly to understand it anyways."

Did that make sense? Probably not. Well you're eleven so it's fine if you don't make sense. They just scoffed at you, the rest of the time you either teased Reynold with putting cute accessories in his hair making him embarrassed or you bothered Derrick by hiding and watching him panic just to peak up behind him and try to scare him, it didn't work and he was more upset then anything but it was funny to you so. And Reynold found it funny too.

When you all snuck back into the mansion it was already pretty late but thankfully your father wasn't back yet. You were pretty exhausted but you had a bunch of things you wanted to show Penelope so you did hope she wasn't asleep which you doubt since it's not that late right now anyways. You peaked your head through the door to see her awake and sitting on her bed silently

You excitedly run over to her while smiling widely you're happy to see her again after not for such a long time.

"Penelope!! Look! I went to the village and I got a bunch of cool things that reminded me of you!..I know it's not as good as all the jewellery you got from before but it's the thought that counts right?"

You say smiling as you sit on her bed right across from her, she just looks at you curiously

"..you went out today? With who?"

"Oh with Reynold and Derrick. It would've been better if you were there though.."

You say pouting a bit, you can't help it. Penelope always seems to bring out the inner child in you with simply just her presence. Although right now she looks..upset.
Oh my goodness is it because she wasn't aware or came? you couldn't help but worry at the thought and immediately scramble to make an excuse

"I didn't want to! Father said we all have to spend time together cause I don't like them as much as I like you! So we were forced too!"

Hopefully she believed that since it's the only excuse you got. As you continue

"Since sister is so wonderful I can't help but wanna be around you and your beautiful presence!! So I had to go with those stinky guys."

You say childishly sticking your tongue out while explaining, you didn't like lying to Penelope. But you can't admit the things you know. She seems to get a bit flustered at your exaggerating comments of her, even though you weren't exaggerating you were serious.

"Oh look! I got this since it reminded me of you and don't worry I made sure Derrick pay for the entire thing! Oh and-"

You both laughed and hung out for hours as you showed her the stuff you got her and even accessorized on her while complimenting every single one of her features.

You both ended up falling asleep with you on her chest with your arms wrapped around her sleeping soundly with her with her hands on each side of her with her head on the top of yours.

You kinda forgot about the reward of the quest and the five intel you get. Oh well. Penelope is more important you'll just see it tomorrow

I wanted to read solo leveling so I ended up postponing writing this chapter till then sorry 💔💔

I was not looking forward to writing a hangout with Derrick and Reynold so I kinda rushed through it sorry 😣😣

Next chapter is gonna revolve Penelope and some chaotic sister time cause I need healing after writing all this Reynold and Derrick shit

Oh also I know there's a bunch of things that make no sense AT ALL like the whole how they ended up going to the village. And how the duke was out the entire day and shit but it's for the plot let me be 💔
