So it was starting to become obvious that something was wrong with Quinn.She had been moving a lot more around,so she easily got sick.And Nellie still hasn't told anyone about the pregnancy,mainly because it wasn't her secret or business.Now Quinn and Nellie were singing when Quinn looked suddenly very sick.

"Quinn? Are you alright?" Mr.Shue asked.Quinn just shook her hand and ran off.Nellie sighed."Can we stop? Quinn is just gonna keep running off to the bathroom and it's getting quite annoying" 

"Yeah,let's all take five" Mr.Shue said clapping his hands together.Nellie walked over to Kurt."Genuine question,and I need an honest answer" He looked up from his nails.

"Whats wrong? Don't tell me you have a crush on Finn.Because,ew" Kurt said blushing slightly."What? No! It's about....my weight"

"Whats wrong with your weight?" Kurt asked confused."When Dakota came over-"

"Stop right there Nel.He didn't mean it.You're fine just the way you are.Plus,you look hot in that outfit" Nellie nodded and wrapped him in a hug."Thanks Kurt"

"No problem Nel," Kurt said.Quinn had come back from the bathroom looking better."Nellie? Are you ready to go?" Nellie nodded and got in her spot.

[Don't stop believing-Quinn and Nellie]

"All right ladies!" Mr.Shue cheered.Puck was cheering on his sister and Nellie smiled at him before turning to Quinn.'You ok?' She mouthed.Quinn nodded and smiled at her.After glee Nellie decided to go home since she was exhausted and drained from glee.

"Hey Nel,you need a ride?" Puck asked slinging his bag over his shoulder."Yes please" Nellie muttered.Puck gave her a soft smile and they walked out the school together.

"Tired?" He asked.Nellie nodded."Coach kept us an extra hour because joe started crying,and then I had a math test that needed to get done because I called out sick last week because of the...you know the cold? So then I-"

"Nel,with all due respect please shut up" Puck said.Nellie nodded and got in the passenger seat of the car.She slowly started drifting off and puck turned down the air conditioner so she could be more warm.

Back at home
"Hey,mom" Nellie said giving a small wave.Their mom ignored them and walked to her room."Why even bother?" Puck scoffed walking to their room.Nellie sighed.Her mom wasn't the best person to talk and have a conversation with,mostly because she was so out of space sometimes she hardly paid attention.

It hurt Nellie,basically because her mom was supposed to be her best friend.And her dad took off so puck really didn't have anyone to look up to,so this family was super lonely.Nellie dropped her bag in front of the door and walked to her room.Puck was sitting in front of their little desk doing homework and Nellie forgot she had to do hers as well.

She jumped onto her bed and pulled out her homework.As she was doing it she had to ask puck the question she asked Kurt in glee.

"Puck?" She asked.He turned to face her."Yeah?" He replied."Am I...fat?" Puck immediately stood up."Who told you that? I'll kill them"

"No no it's just,when I was in glee and this guy named Dakota Stanley came and he was just criticizing us and he said that I'm fat and my hair looks like a birds nest.I just need to know if it's true" Puck shook his head."Nel,you're fine the way you are.I don't know who this Dakota Stanley guy is,but he's a moron if he doesn't see how perfect you are.Nel,don't change for anyone.Oh,and tell anyone I went soft for you and I'll kill you" Nellie laughed and gave a silent thank you to puck.

She respected the fact puck was trying to be a better brother and Nellie was going to try and become a better sister.She was thinking about taking a survey,just to see if her friends really cared or not.Probably the only person that would say yes is Santana,but only in a joking way.

"You ok Nel?" Puck asked.Nellie nodded and turned away from him.

The next day
"What kind of question is that?" Mercedes asked walking down the hall along with Artie."Yeah Nellie,I think you're fine the way you are" He said.Nellie smirked at her new friends.

"You guys really think so?" She asked.Mercedes and Artie nodded."Thanks"

She ran over to Finn and Quinn."I have a question" She told the couple."Uh...ok?" Finn said."A-Am I...fat?" Quinn scoffed."Why would you think that?"

"I don't know,I've just been feeling insecure lately and with what Dakota said it just,really hit me" Finn gave her a sad look."Nel,you're fine the way you are."

"Thanks guys.You all really care" She said.Now she only had to ask Mike,Matt,and Tina.She walked over to the boys.

"Oh,hey Nellie!" Matt cheerfully said.He noticed her frown and he frowned as well."Whats wrong?"

"Guys,I've been feeling insecure lately and I just wanted to know if...you find me fat" Mikes jaw dropped."Nellie,you're amazing.Who even said this about you?"

"Yeah,I've been looking for people to beat up today" Matt growled."Just someone who tried to take Mr.Shue's spot as a teacher."

Matt rubbed her shoulders."Screw him.Now,shall we walk to glee club together?" Nellie nodded and linked arms with the two boys as they walked inside the classroom.Nellie immediately went to go sit down next to puck.Puck sent a smile her way and Nellie smiled back.

"Ok everyone,I'd like to introduce you all to someone very special.This is April Rhodes.She's our newest member" Mr.Shue introduced."Wait,can old people join glee too?" Finn asked."Old,huh? You guys look like the worlds worse Benetton ad" Nellie couldn't help but smile at the original insult.

"Mr.Shue,this seems like a terrible idea" Artie commented."April is a great singer.And she never graduated."Puck sent a wink April's way causing Nellie to cringe in disgust.

"We appreciate what you're trying to do,but she's no Rachel"

"Why do we need Rachel? There are people in here that have better voices then her" Nellie scoffed."Who's Rachel?" April asked."Shes kind of o-our s-star"

Nellie shook her head.Why did Rachel need to be the center of attention? It didn't make sense.They were doing just fine without her."Star,huh? Where where is she?"

"She left.To be the lead in Cabaret" Kurt explained.April chuckled and slipped off her jacket."Hey,tinkles,give me "Maybe this time" in B flat" Brad the piano player nodded and started playing the song.

[Maybe This Time-April Rhodes]

By the end of the performance Nellies jaw dropped and she looked around the room to see everyone else's reactions."Can she take Rachel's place?" Nellie whispered to puck.

Time Skip
Nellie liked April.She taught her how to sneak something between her legs and April even did her hair and gave her alcohol."Mr.Shue,April can stay" Nellie told him after Spanish class.

"Are you sure Nellie? I hope she didn't pressure you or anything" Mr.Shue said suspiciously."No,no she didn't.I found out a lot about myself when I'm with her.I want her to stay" Mr.Shue furrowed his brows before nodding.

"Yay! Thanks Mr.Shue" Then she ran off.

The next day
"I need backup" Finn sternly told her the next day.Nellie raised her eyebrows."What?" She asked."I accidentally asked Rachel to go bowling with me and now I need backup because I'm scared she's gonna try something"

"I'll go.But I'm bringing my own backup" Nellie said."Why?" Finn asked confused."Because if some perv try's something I want someone to be there with me!" She then walked off to Mercedes and Kurt.

"Besties,Wanna go bowling?" Nellie smirked."Where is this all coming from?" Kirt asked.Nellie told them the plan and they nodded.

"We'll tag along.Only because you're our best friend" Mercedes said.Nellie clapped her hands together and smirked.

At the bowling alley
"Finn,oh,hey Nellie" Rachel said gloomy."Uh hello,we're here to" Mercedes said coming from behind Nellie."I'm going to go over there to bowl.Uh,bye I guess" Nellie grabbed Mercedes and Kurt wrist and dragged them away.

"Nel,have you ever been bowling before?" Kurt asked as she struggled to pick up a bowling ball.Nellie scoffed."Yes,of course I do" She answered.She was about to drop it on her foot before Mercedes caught it.

"Here,I'll show you." Kurt wrapped her arms around her waist getting her into position while Mercedes was trying to balance the ball.Once Nellie was in position Mercedes handed the ball over to her.

"Thanks" She smirked.They both held her hands tying to get her to steady the ball right."There you go.Now you're free to roll" Nellie threw the ball down and it rolled until she knocked all the pins down.

"That's good,right?" She asked her best friends."Better then Rachel over there" Kurt muttered nodding his head towards Rachel's ball that rolled out of place.Nellie let out a short laugh.

"Your turn" She said.Mercedes threw the ball and knocked four pins down."So far Nel is in the lead" Kurt smirked.Nellie nodded.

"Woah,this is funner then I thought" Rachel glared at Nellie,and Finn noticed."Rachel's giving you the stink eye over there" He said laughing.Nellie scoffed."Ignore her" She said shrugging.He nodded.

Nellies jaw dropped and she tapped their shoulder until they turned to face her.Their jaws also dropped when they saw what Nellie was seeing.

Finn and Rachel kissing.

"Oh god" They all said."All in favor of keeping this from Quinn say I"

"I" The three teens said at the same time.

The next day
Nellie had been purposefully avoiding Finn from what happened the other day.And apparently he got Rachel to come back to glee.

The glee kids were huddled around the piano as they came up with reasons as to why Quinn had been so distant lately."Maybe she's lactose intolerant" Kurt inputted."That doesn't explain all the crying" Artie said.Sometimes Nellie had to remember she was one of the only glee kids who knew about the pregnancy.

"Maybe she just doesn't like the group" Tina said."Are you all that stupid? Seriously? I bet you thought Bert and Ernie were roommates." Puck snapped."Maybe Quinn's got one in the oven" Nellie turned to face him.How did he know? Well,with all those shots he was throwing at Quinn the other day,Nellie was kinda not surprised he knew.

"Who's the baby daddy?" Mercedes asked."Who do you think? Finn!" Nellies jaw dropped at how Quinn was basically being outed.

Suddenly Rachel walked in."Yes,you've heard right I'm returning to glee club.In lieu of flowers,please send all donations to a socially conscious charity of your choice"

"You're not that special Rachel." Nellie snapped."This is a hot damn mess" Mercedes whispered."Tell me about it" Nellie muttered."Uh,I'm sorry; I thought I'd be welcomed back with a tad more enthusiasm" Nellie rolled her eyes.

"Sorry,glee club has just been rocked with its first scandal" Kurt excitedly said."Quinn's knocked up" Mercedes started."And the baby daddy is Finn" Kurt finished.And with Rachel being Rachel she stormed out of the choir room.

"Remind why Rachel was mad again?" Nellie asked.
Now it was time for their performance with April and Nellie was in her costume.

[Last Time- April Plus New Directions]

After the performance Nellie ran back to the choir room with Tina and Mercedes.Nellie twirled around in her costume and gave a high five to puck who was grinning at her.

"W-Where's April?" Tina asked."You were right Mr.Shue,she could massacre in a diva off" Nellie said applying makeup onto her cheeks.

"April is amazing.But she's not in the glee club anymore.I uh,I screwed up bringing her here.It as about me and glee club is supposed to be about you guys" .Mr.Shue said.The glee club groaned when Mr.Shue said that they couldn't preform.

"Wait,maybe Nel can go on!" Puck said."Erm,no thanks." She said throwing her hands up."He's right" Rachel had walked into the room.

"Nellie,I'm so sorry for getting you in trouble with Coach Sylvester.I-I was only thinking of the glee club and not the consequences and for that,I'm sorry.You deserve to go on tonight.You have an amazing voice that deserves to be shared" Nellie smiled and wrapped her in a hug.

"Let's do this!" Nellie cheered and the rest of the glee club cheered with her.
