That evening was spent with everyone in the abnormally large living room, watching a few movies Tengen had dug out.

As Mamma Mia played in the background, Giyuu had his arm around you, occasionally fiddling with the ends of your hair.

Mitsuri had filled Obanai's hair with a bunch of pink hair pins and bows, which had you and many other people giggling.

"Now we can be matching!" she smiled, hugging him tightly.

You ended up falling asleep on Giyuu's shoulder near the end of the film, but he didn't mind whatsoever.

-

The rest of the week passed quickly. It was an unforgettable week, for sure, filled with laughter and Tengen's cooking, and it wasn't long before you and Giyuu were back at his apartment.

With the new year approaching, you had a few bits of work to complete. Nothing major, just a few admin things and a bit of reading for some of your classes on any new content.

"What did you want for dinner?" Giyuu asked, looking up from his book.

You stopped writing and thought for a second.

"I don't mind. If I'm being honest, I had planned for instant ramen,"

He sighed and shook his head.

"Not anymore. There's a new restaurant I wanna try,"

"Giyuu Tomioka, are you asking me out?"

His cheeks dusted a light a shade of pink. "I mean, I guess?" he almost stuttered.

You walked over to where he was sitting and cupped his face in your hands.

"You're adorable," you teased before turning back around. "Now I've got think of an outfit,"

He watched you walk away, jaw hanging open and speechless.

-

You ended up walking back to your dorm so you could get ready. It had been a while since you and Giyuu had gone on an actual date, just the two of you.

Mitsuri helped you pick out an outfit, a black dress that didn't stretch any further than your mid thigh, paired with matching black heels from Valentino.

Your makeup wasn't too heavy, but you finished the look with a maroon coloured lipstick and some gold jewellery.

"How do I look?" you asked.

"HOT," your roommate exclaimed.

You smiled, teeth showing and texted Giyuu.

Ten minutes later, you were still in your room, applying one last coat of mascara, when all of a sudden you felt a certain presence at the door of your bedroom.

He folded his arms and leaned against the doorway.

"Sorry I'll be two seconds,"

"Take all the time you need," he said, admiring you.

He ran a hand through his hair, which he had let down for the occasion. His sleeves were rolled up, revealing his forearms and first few buttons of the navy blue shirt he was wearing were undone.

God, you could've made out with him right there and then.

-

The drive to the restaurant wasn't long. It was an Italian place that had only been open a few weeks, but the food looked divine, and the reviews were great.

Fortunately, Giyuu had reserved a table beforehand, meaning the wait to be seated wasn't long.

The place felt oddly nostalgic. In a way, you couldn't quite put your finger on. The cream coloured walls and all the plants that hung from the ceiling and the lights that made it glow warmly.

After being seated, a woman who looked about the same age as you came over and asked for your order.

"Welcome to Luminoso, can I take your - " she paused, with a big grin on her face.

"Oh my god, Giyuu, it's been forever," she gushed, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Yeah..." he responded awkwardly.

"Who's your friend?" she asked, practically twirling her hair.

"This is Y/n, my girlfriend,"

Her jaw nearly fell to the floor.

"Oh! Well, nice to meet you Y/n, I'm Hina! I'm sure Giyuu's told you all about me," she placed another on his shoulder, resulting in Giyuu's jaw to tense.

An awkward laugh slipped from your mouth. "Nope, never heard of you,"

"Shame," she pouted "well text me Giyuu it's been ages since we've hung out," she finished with before taking your orders and walking off.

"Well, she was friendly!" You crossed your arms and legs.

"Yeah, she's in my English class, we did a couple of projects together, but she kinda had a thing for me,"

"Did you ever 'kinda have a thing for her' back?" you said, slightly mimicking him.

"Y/n," he reached out and took both your hands in his. "I was too busy pining over you to even think about anyone else,"

A smile tugged at the corner of your lips as he pressed a kiss to your hand.

"She can be quite pushy though, so if she ever bothers you, let me know,"

"Will do," you assured.

-

The pizzas you had ordered arrived about ten minutes later, fresh and still piping hot.

"Oh my god, this tastes amazing. No wonder it's already so popular,"

"I only pick the best restaurants for you, my love,"

"You're the best,"

"I do try to be,"

The conversation between you varied, from family to your friends to little inside jokes and your upcoming classes.

"I can't believe it's your last year," you said, slightly sad.

"It's gone so fast, I still remember my first year like it was yesterday,"

"I can't wait for your graduation. Oh my god, we have to celebrate when the time comes, "

"You're more excited than me." he chuckled."It's sweet,"

"It is exciting," you shrugged. "I've known you my whole life,"

"How's the food, guys!" Hina walked over with her shrill and agitating voice.

"It's great, thank you," Giyuu said politely.

She let out an excruciatingly high-pitched laugh.

"Oh Giyuu, you're always so polite. well, see you guys around on campus,"

She walked off, and you almost laughed.

"Sorry, but she's so annoying it's almost funny,"

"She's definitely a character," he took a sip of his drink.

About twenty minutes later, another waiter came with the bill.

"We can split it," you proposed.

"If you insist..." he sighed.

-

It was a beautiful late summer evening, so you and Giyuu went on a walk around the city.

"This city never fails to amaze me," you said, taking notice of all the nightlife.

He interlocked your hands as you continued walking.

"The moon has always been so pretty," you said, glancing up at the sky.

He stopped in the middle of the street, which was basically dead quiet, and turned to look you.

His arms snaked around your waist before his lips found yours, and all of sudden, he was kissing you.

Just like he did every day.

But you'd never get over it.

He pulled away after a few seconds.

"Back to mine?"

"Always,"
