"Don't be shy~ Wei Fang. Don't you wanna try laying inside the coffin for experience?" Hu Tao teased the Adepti who was covering her face with the long sleeves of her robe.

"N-No... Thank you..." She whispered before turning around only to get greeted by Hu Tao again and started to bombard with thousands of questions.

Having enough of her constant teasing, she let the wind rise and pushed Hu Tao away with the strong force of the wind, perfect timing the Yaksha appeared before her and lifted her up bridal style and teleported away. Swoosh.

The brunette let out an annoyed huff before entering the funeral parlor. A chuckle of an old man was heard inside, amused by his boss' failure.

Meanwhile the Yaksha laid his head on Wei Feng's lap as she picked up some flowers laying around them.

"C-Can I put some flowers?" Wei Feng muttered to Xiao who clearly heard the quiet words.

He opened his eyes, "On where?"

Wei Feng blushed before pointing at his blueish/greenish locks. "Here..."

Xiao's eyes widened feeling flustered at her request, but quickly hiding his face by looking away and scoffed.

"Tch, do whatever you want. I don't care what actions you may do." He said.

'That's a lie, he does care.' Says author.

The girl smiled before beginning to place some colorful petals on his hair with no care in the world, one of the things that they both enjoy is their time together. Both of them can be as carefree as they want, where no one would stop them. Where Xiao is not acting like a Yaksha, where Wei Feng is not afraid of the person before him.

Some people may fear the Yaksha, but Wei Feng is the opposite. Instead, she looked up to him. How she wants to learn how to do combat because of him.

But to Xiao, he wants to learn how she managed to make him feel at peace with a simple melody.

Zhongli is walking with Wei Feng together behind the Harbour, having a normal stroll. Suddenly they heard the sound of fighting. Wasting no time, Wei Feng ran towards the sound of the use of visions. Uphill she saw a winter haired woman fighting off some Fatui members.

Noticing her struggle she was about to step in, but Zhongli placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Let her fight." He said with a stoic expression as he watched the lady fight. Not wanting to disobey her Archon's orders, she nodded and stood back.

A Fatui agent was about to stab Ms. Winter. Wei Feng subconsciously held Zhongli's coat.

"Fathe— huh...?" She gasped at the sudden title she called upon her Archon. She panicked.

Meanwhile Zhongli stood frozen, it has been far too long since he last heard that title that she once called him. Acting swiftly, he summoned a geo pillar towards the Agent and knocked him away.

He quickly then pulled Wei Feng away from the scene to avoid being caught by her. Meanwhile, Wei Feng continued breathing heavily as she waited for her Archon to yell at her because of her mistake.

"My dear Wei Feng, I'll be going ahead. I have matters to finish, but I must let you stay behind here watch over Ms. Winter while I'm away. But don't let anyone notice you." Zhongli ordered softly to the girl and patted her hair.

Wei Feng stood frozen and confused, "What do you mean?"

The man smiled before turning her around and tightening the ribbon on her hair, fixing it as it was seen loosening its hold.

"Trust me? Only step in when Ms. Winter is in a critical condition." And with that the Geo Archon left.

Obeying his orders she ran towards the back where she last saw the winter haired lady. The scene in front of her caused her to gasp.

She watched as Childe continuously punched Ms. Winter, who is tied up on a tree with an arrow sticking to her.

The Harbinger and the cryo vision holder exchanged words to one another before she completely passed out.

Watching the Harbinger sigh before untying her and carrying her bridal style, started to run towards her direction. Childe paused his tracks when he saw that he had been caught by the adepti.

"I—" before he could even form a sentence, Wei Feng cut him off.

"Ms. Winter... Is in critical condition... Where are you taking her?" She said softly and dangerously at the Harbinger.

"To the clinic, where else?"

"After you harmed her?"

Childe scoffed at her, not realizing that he is already in front of Bubu Pharmacy.

"H—How..."

"It seems like she felt your familiar presence..." Cloud Retainer mumbled to the former Archon who stood beyond her.

The only people who are currently aware of Zhongli's true identity are Wei Feng, Xiao, and Cloud Retainer.

"And here I thought she completely forgot about me." Zhongli said as he sat on the stone table. Xiao leaning back against the tree that is nearby.

"Rex Lapis, one cannot hide these truths forever. One will be longing to seek the truths behind the hidden secrets." Cloud Retainer stated.

Zhongli sighed before nodding his head, "I agree. But I will tell her in a more suitable time. But for now... It seems like someone has caused trouble."

The Archon frowned, his eyes narrowing at the sight of the stormy clouds.

"This presence..." Xiao muttered as he stood beside the Archon and Adepti.

"Osial..." Zhongli muttered as well, crossing his arms.

He looked at his two old friends, "It seems like you two will have a task to finish."

"Will one not help his people?" Cloud Retainer asked as she hovered above the Archon.

He smiled, "I trust my people, that they can handle such matters without protection from their Archon. But, if things go out of hand, I will not hesitate and step in."

The two Adepti looked at each other before nodding, Cloud Retainer flew away while Xiao had been stopped.

"Protect her. Don't let her get harmed by the ways of the Fatui." Zhongli said, with a stern look at Xiao.

"Of course, Rex Lapis. I would not dare break our contract."
