"Please don't hurt me!" The girl squeaked as she ran around the forest, holding apples in hand while avoiding the hilichurls chasing after her.

'I have get these back to Wangshuu Inn'!

She thought.

Wei Feng sighed in frustration before playing a tune on her flute, with the power of the anemo she let the apples levitate themselves with the help of the small air current.

Return back to face the hilichurl she targeted the one with the crossbow and sending power attacks to it. After dealing with each one by one, she didn't noticed the Mitachurl behind her.

Suddenly, she felt the sharp rush of wind slicing pass her. Dark and light blue green particles appeared before her eyes and the sound of a polearm making contact with the axe was heard.

Behind her was an Adepti, with short dark bluish hair with light green streaks, holding a Jade Spear with a mask placed on his hip.

He quickly pushed the Mitachurl away with great strength and wrapped an arm around Wei Feng's waist teleporting above a tree branch, handing her the apples the Adepti jumped down and finished off the two Mitachurls.

Meanwhile Wei Feng hugged her legs and the apples as she waited for her friend to finish the job. Guilt rises to her when she noticed the Yaksha did all the fighting, while she brings constant trouble.

The Adepti came back and helped her down the tree and walked side by side back to the Inn.

"I'm sorry for causing you much trouble Xiao, I'll bring you more bad luck if you continue to join me." Wei Feng mumbled sadly with a pout.

The Adepti Xiao just frowned at her before he scoffed, "You don't have bad luck, Wei. Don't believe what those mortals says about you."

"B-But—..."

"Enough. If I hear another word about your so called 'bad luck', I don't care. I'll always stand by your side."

Wei Feng just sighed and entered the wooden elevator in the Inn.

"I'm sorry for being a burden." She said bowing slightly.

"Enough. You are not a burden. Now get some rest." Xiao said before teleporting awat.

ei Feng felt a very strong aura as she traveled the high mountains of Liyue. Before descending down to where Azdaha as been sealed.

She felt the Archon calling upon her, she didn't believe it at first but didn't ignored the aura. It might disrespect Rex Lapis.

Standing beside the tree(Tail) she played her flute as she waited. Using her Anemo vision, playing with the small water stream near the location of the Domain.

"You have not failed to surprise me with such melody, Wei Feng."

The voice of the Geo Archon made Wei Feng turn around and face Rex Lapis in his Archon form.

His exposed arms that are infused with Geo, and regal white cloak with a hood attached tucked behind, revealing his amber eyes and brown hair.

"Rex Lapis, your aura called upon... Me?" She said with such a timid tone, Rex Lapis smiled at her quietness and timid personality. She never changed, still shy as the first time he saved her as a young one.

"Ahh yes. It is a rather important reason why I called you. I shall make a new contract with you." He stated before placing a hand softly on her hair, rubbing it softly. Giving the anemo user a small smile.

"A contract...? Will this be part of our original one?" She asked getting curious.

He chuckled, "It won't affect our previous one. This one is rather temporary. But a contract is still a contract."

"Now listen, Wei Feng. After years of thinking, watching the region grow, how they can handle any danger with their own actions. I have made a decision to retire... as the Geo Archon of Liyue." He announced, sending the news to her.

Wei Feng's eyes widened. Many questions lingered in her mind, why would he want to retire? Has he seen enough of us? Did we do something bad that caused him to leave and won't see us aga—

"Don't let your negative thoughts master your mind. I have a reason why, but I'll explain everything once our contract has ended. This is merely temporary. I trust you."

With those words she accepted the Contract of the Geo Archon. Soon he showed his human form.

Same hair style but with different clothing, brown coat with a dragon scales design at the end, he was wearing gloves that she thinks to prevent people from seeing his infused geo arms.

"With this form, you will have to address me as Zhongli, I work at a funeral parlor in the Harbour. I will be addressing you as Adeptus Feng." He stated wih a small smile in his face, as he said her title with such normality.

"Heaven forbid!" She said blushing at the Archon who patted her head.

"Why would Ms. Yelan and the Qixing wantse to watch over a female who is from Snezhnaya?" Wei Feng mumbled as she watched the snow colored woman with her blade travelling around Liyue.

Yelan asked her a favour to watch over her for the mean time, if her loyalty is truly to Liyue and not a traitor or spy sneaking in for information.

But the whole day, the lady which is Winter just defeated multiple treasure hoarders who are hurting or assaulting innocent citizens of Liyue.

She stated her report before going back to the Wangshuu Inn, she found Xiao on a  tree branch on the balcony, deciding to join him. She sat down beside him and started to play songs with her flute. While the Yaksha felt at ease and laid his head on her lap.

Closing his eyes he mumbled the words;

"You always play something beautiful. Such a sweet melody..."
