Sophia was sitting on the tour bus, knees up to her chest and her head laying on Chris' shoulder, while she was scrolling trough her for you page on Tik Tok.

Chris on the other hand had been searching for a youtube video to watch on the TV for a while now. His brows were furrowed and his face screamed concentration.

The only other sound that could be heard besides that rumble of the tour bus driving, was that of the clicking noise coming from the remote, because Chris kept skipping every video.

He was so indecisive it hurt.

Matt and Nick were sitting on the couch facing them. They were looking over them, and they couldn't ignore how they were sitting. Only couples sat like that. Sophias head was still on Chris' shoulder, but now Chris head was resting on top of hers, while his arm was around her schoulders, and he ran his fingers along hers.

Matt rolled his eyes and Nick held back a laugh. Neither one of the two could understand, how  they couldn't see that they liked each other, when they so clearly did, all you had to do to figure that out, was look at them.

Their attention went back to TV, which was still passing through all the videos, so after having enough of Chris skipping every single video, Nick suddenly got up and yanked the remote from his hands. He sat back down and clicked on the first video he that appeared, ready to watch it.

Chris didn't like this at all. "What the fuck Nick, I was still choosing" Chris spat angrily at his brother and there was nothing nice on him now, except but his touch on Sophia's arm, that stayed the exactly same soft touch.

Nick rolled his eyes. Again. "Yeah I know, and I don't care dude, you do know you've been doing that  for the last" He says as he takes out his phone and turns it on to check the time. "twenty holy minutes, right?" He finished, while rubbing the bridge of his nose, clearly, very annoyed by Chris.

Meanwhile next to Chris, Sophia was scrolling through the new comments she kept getting on all of their newest posts. Most of them were very negative comments, some read, that she clearly wasn't good enough to perform for the triplets and that she should've stayed at home so that she could prevent the embarrassment. And worst of all there were at least ten comments saying that she should kill herself.

Usually she was very confident, but the more she scrolled, the more desperate she got. What was she supposed to do now? Knowing that there's going to be thousands of people booing her off stage, because she simply wasn't good enough.

Her eyes were tearing up and she hoped that none of the boys would notice, but her hopes were destroyed once she saw Matt looking at her and his eyebrows raising, most definitely because he could see the tears in her eyes. Trying to prevent any more attention, her head shot up, leaving Chris' shoulder.

From the corner of her eye, she could see Chris lookibg at her worryingly. To hide her face from him, she turned her head around and kept her eyes focused on looking at the wall.

She kept trying to calm her breathing slowly while also trying to stop the tears from spilling. She could feel pain in her throat. Everything was getting going good for her. No tears, until she felt Chris' take her hand from her lap.

She didn't even try to stop him. She loved the feeling of his soft hands in hers, but her eyes
still stayed focused on the grey wall. That was what was supposed to happen, until she regained control of her body, but when she heard his soft voice she knew that she would be able to hold it all in.

He rubbed his thumb on her hand, trying to get her to look at him. "Hey, Soph, what's going on" He said quietly, trying to get her attention again, and that was all it took, that sweet, soft tone, for her to let the tears slide down her face.

Chris still couldn't see her face so he turned to his brothers that were watching all this happen and he nodded his head to the direction of the bunks. Thankfully Matt and Nick, got the message and went away, giving them some privacy.

But still, Chris had no idea how to get her attention, so he decided to do the next best thing. He acted on instinct. He slowly reached over and grabbed her chin with two fingers, turning her head towards him. Her head was now turned in his direction, but her eyes were still not on him.

He could now see the tears sliding down her face, and it made his heart break. His jaw clenched with anger at whoever made Sophia cry. How could they see such a beautiful human being and decide that she was worthy of any type of pain, because she was definitely not.

Chris decided to try using his words again. "Soph, look at me" He whispered, pleading and still holding onto her chin. And when she didn't budge and kept looking down, he decided to bend his head a little so that he could meet her gaze.

And once their eyes met, they stayed locked in together. Even when he straightened back up again, Sophia didn't look away and neither did he. Her eyes locked with his. His still locked in with hers.

Both of them were in such an intense moment, that Chris' heart was beating out of his chest and he was sure that she could hear it too.

He decided to follow his heart. His eyes trailed all over her face until stopping at her lips, which made him run his thumb over her lips. And easy like that her eyes fell to look at his lips aswell.

Chris took this moment to finally ask the question he wanted so bad to know the answer to. "Why are you crying b" Chris said softly.

His eyes didn't move away from Sophia's lips. On the contrary. In some weird way, he wanted so badly to know what they would feel like if he touched them with his.

Sophia didn't hesitate before telling him the truth, due to her infinite trust in him. She took out her phone again and unlocked it. Since it was still on the comments, she gave it to him to let him find it all out for himself.

From where she was sitting, she could see his eyes narrow with every movement that his finger made to scroll. She could see his jaw keep clenching more and more, while his fist started to bawl up and his hand tightened around the phone.

Ultimately he decided to turn off the phone. He looked back at her and all she could see in his blue eyes was the empathy he felt for her. He was so sad that it had come to this point.

Sophia didn't really want to talk about it right now while it was still fresh in her mind, and in some weird way, she knew that Chris' would do exactly what she hoped him to do, he wouldn't make her talk about it if she didn't feel 100% comfortable with it.

And again, he did the only right thing there was to do. He pulled her into his arms. But this time it was all different. There was something more lingering in the air. Unspoken emotions. Unspoken truths.

He always knew exactly what to do to cheer her up. He knew she loved it when he played with her hair, so he started stroking her hair, slowly, while still hugging her. His fingers running through her hair, made chills shoot down her whole body.

"Please, I beg you, don't ever doubt yourself." He whispered into her ear, while still stroking her hair.

When he got no response, he pulled back and put  both his hands on her face, and he couldn't help but feel his heart flutter at the way her soft skin felt under his fingers.

This time they were closer, they were so close, their lips were almost touching and for a second Sophia found herself hoping he'd go in for a kiss.

Breathing was getting harder and harder with his face being so close to hers and his breath fanning her face. She looked at him, desperate for any type of reciprocation in his eyes.

"You're so beautiful" he said in a breath. And Sophia's heart almost jumped out. It felt so real. All of it.

He inched forward, and he did the last thing she expected him to do, he pecked her forhead. Her eyes fluttering close at the way his lips felt on her forehead. That feeling was now tattooed into her brain, she could never forget that feeling.

He grabbed her hand and pulled her up with him. "Let's go to sleep, I'll even let you sleep in my bunk" he said while he intertwined their fingers, and winked at her, making her giggle.

His gaze softened. "There's the laugh I love so much" He said and Sophia felt like she was on top of the world and that there was no way back down again.

She nodded, but before he could lead her to the bunks, she pulled him back, and he turned around, looking confused as to why she didn't want to go.

All she did was smile at him with the prettiest smile he'd ever seen. "Thank you so much Chris" She said wholeheartedly, and Chris closed his eyes at the sound of her voice.

He opened his eyes again and he nodded. "Always" he said, and turned back around. They walked to the bunks hand in hand. They looked around and they could see that Nick and Matt were somehow already asleep.

Two people climbing into the bunk of the bus was harder than they'd expected, but they made it work.

Sophia now had her leg swung over his, her arm over his chest, and her head nestled into his neck and Chris also had his arm swung around her, and he kept playing with her hair, like he knew she liked it.

He could feel her breath, and it made him so happy. "Can you sing for me" He whispered while looking down at her. Her eyes immediately found his, and she realized that she could never get tired of looking into them.

Her breath was caught in her throat, because of the strong gaze. "Yes" she whispered back. She took his hand and started playing with his fingers.

"I used to float, now I just fall down" She whisper sang one of her own song, and when she looked at him, his eyes kept fluttering shut every ten seconds, he was almost falling asleep.

"I was an ideal, looked so alive, turns out I'm not real" she continued singing, getting quieter with every sentence, until her voice was barely a whisper and she felt herself fall asleep in the best way she every had before

Always thinking about how glad she was to have Chris.

How did she get so lucky?
