"So, as you guys know, you'll be hitting the road on tour soon," Laura, their manager, casually mentioned as they all lounged around a conference table. The room buzzed with anticipation, knowing that their upcoming tour was a big deal.

"You guys will be the main act, of course, but we're still searching for someone to kick off the show," Laura continued, pulling out a folder filled with options. She leaned forward, her eyes scanning the pages, ready to reveal the potential openers.

"Here are some people I reached out to who could be potential opening acts," she said, spreading the sheets across the table. The triplets exchanged glances, curiosity piqued.

"I guess this guy seems okay," Nick remarked, pointing at a picture of a well-known singer with a skeptical expression.

"I don't know, he just doesn't seem to fit our vibe," Matt chimed in, scratching his neck thoughtfully.

"Exactly. We want someone who knows us, like a friend, with a connection to one of us. I don't see that here," Chris agreed, earning nods from Matt and Nick, as well as Madi.

"Well, do any of you have someone else in mind?" Laura inquired, tidying up the table and returning the pictures to the folder.

Without hesitation, a spark ignited in Chris' eyes. He knew precisely who they should ask to be their opening act.

"We've got to ask Soph," Chris suddenly blurted out, glancing around at the others. Matt was grinning wildly, and Nick was nodding emphatically, pointing at Chris in agreement.

"Who's Sophia?" Laura asked, curious.

"Sophia Davis. She's the most mind-blowing, soul-stirring singer I've ever come across. She's so so talented, I swear. She just dropped her album 'Better Off by Myself' last week, and it's tearing up the charts. Every track's a masterpiece. She's not just an incredible singer; she's an absolute force of nature, and one of my best friends. She's perfect " Chris gushed, practically pouring his heart out in one breath. Unbeknownst to him, his heart was on the edge of discovering a truth he hadn't yet acknowledged – he was head over heels for Sophia.

Matt, Nick, and Madi exchanged knowing glances, sensing the depth of Chris' feelings, even if he was still oblivious.

"Perfect for the opening act I mean, plus, I know that this is her biggest dream and I'd love to be the one to make it come true" Chris hastily added, trying to conceal the undercurrent of emotion that had crept into his words. Deep inside, he was slowly realizing that Sophia wasn't just perfect for the opening act – she was perfect for him, too.

"Oh, I know exactly who you're talking about. I'll have the team get in touch with her. Are you all sure about this?" Laura inquired, her keen eye catching the subtle shift in Chris' demeanor, even though he tried to maintain his composure. The boys nodded enthusiastically, their hearts secretly aligning with Chris's unspoken desires.

"Alright, thanks for this meeting. We'll catch up as we get closer to the tour," Laura said as she left with Madi, leaving Chris with an overwhelming swirl of emotions he was only beginning to comprehend.

"Great job, Chris. Let's hope Sophie wants to join us on tour," Matt said, his laughter hiding the storm of emotions brewing beneath the surface.

"Yes! It's going to be amazing, and we'll finally meet her," Nick exclaimed with excitement, his words echoing Chris' own unspoken feelings.

As the room emptied, and the prospect of Sophia becoming their opening act hung in the air, it struck Chris like a bolt of lightning. If she accepted, they'd meet face to face sooner than he'd ever imagined. The thought left him with a thrilling mix of anticipation and nerves, his heart whispering a truth he hadn't fully embraced
