sophiadavis MY NEW ALBUM "BETTER OF BY MYSELF" IS NOW OUT EVERYWHERE💌🎵. The majority of the songs are very close to my heart. This album has been in project for about two years now. I wrote most of it during my hard times in life when I was battling my mental health, a very toxic relationship, and hate after I put out a song that is now sadly deleted. People treated me miserably and it was no doubt the worst year of my life, and I'm so happy to be able to say that I got this beautiful achievement out of it. I love every single song on this album and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do :) I love you all. Thank you so so much for the support on my hopefully long journey as a singer.

"Hey, Soph," Chris's voice greeted her from the other end of the phone as soon as she accepted the call. Sophia set her phone down on her cluttered makeup desk, ready for a chat.

"Hey, Chris, how's it going?" she asked, flipping her hair behind her ear.

"I'm doing awesome," Chris exclaimed enthusiastically. "I've been listening to your songs on repeat and I really, really love all of them. Your voice is so beautiful, and the way your songs are written touches my heart" he confessed. "So, I wanted to congratulate you. You absolutely deserve all the success in the world."

Sophia's heart swelled with gratitude. "Thank you so much, Chris. It's surreal to think that my album is out there and that people are actually listening to it. That you're actually listening to it" sophia answered.

Chris chuckled. "Yeah? so Im that special for you huh?" he teased, a sly smirk forming on his face. Sophia playfully rolled her eyes.

"I guess," she replied, adding a hint of sass to her tone. Their laughter echoed through the phone.

"I've got a question, Chris," Sophia piped up.

"Ask me whatever you want soph" Chris encouraged.

"When can we meet up, or when are you guys coming back to LA?" she inquired, pouting in an exaggerated manner, clearly playing around.

Chris's tone became a tad more serious. "Well, you might be a little disappointed, but we won't be back in LA for like another two months. We're set for Boston in October, and November and December are already booked solid," he explained.

Sophia's smile faded slightly. "I really want to see you, Chris," she admitted.

Chris reassured her, "Don't worry, Sunshine, I've got you covered. I'll fly you out, okay?"

Sophia shook her head. "No way, Chris. If I'm coming to Boston, I'm buying that plane ticket."

Chris grinned on the other end. "You're quite the stubborn one, aren't you? There's no way I'll let you pay for the ticket. I'll let you know when I've got that plane ticket booked."

Sophia couldn't help but smile at Chris's persistence. "Alright, deal," she agreed, knowing that arguing further would be futile.

Before they could continue their conversation, the sound of a door opening reached her ears. It was followed by hushed laughter and the muffled voices of Chris and another person. Sophia raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued.

"Hey, Soph, there's someone here that wants to talk to you," Chris said, and Sophia watched as Matt and Nick made their way into the frame.

"Hey, Sophie," Matt and Nick greeted in unison.

"Hey, guys!" she replied with a warm smile.

"We just wanted to thank you for releasing such great music. Like, thank you," Matt said, causing Sophia to blush. Chris couldn't help but notice the exchange between them, his curiosity piqued.

"Thank you, Matty boy. I appreciate you," Sophia replied, and Matt chuckled. Chris turned the phone toward Nick.

Matt glanced at Chris and sensed the tension in the room. Chris's clenched jaw didn't go unnoticed, but he decided not to press the issue further.

"You're amazing, Sophia. I'm so proud of you," Nick simply said, his words filled with genuine admiration.

"Thank you so much, boys," Sophia replied, tears welling up in her eyes. Here she was, talking to her idols on the phone.

Chris, eager to have Sophia to himself again, intervened. "Well, let me keep talking to Soph."

Matt noticed Chris's discomfort and decided to tease him a bit. "Well, it seems like jealous boy wants you all to himself. Call me later once you're done talking to Chris," he remarked with a mischievous grin.

Chris and Sophia answered almost simultaneously. "No," Chris firmly said, while Sophia replied, "Okay."

The three of them exchanged confused glances, but Chris quickly found a way out of the situation. "Weren't we supposed to fall asleep over FaceTime? We talked about this the other day," he suggested, hoping that Sophia would play along.

"Oh yeah, how could I forget? I'll call you another time, Matt," Sophia said with a playful tone.

"That's okay. Talk to you later," Matt waved goodbye to the camera.

"Bye, Sophie," Nick added, and they both left the room, leaving Sophia and Chris alone, tension lingering in the air.

As Chris and Sophia settled into their conversation after Matt and Nick's departure, a mischievous glint sparkled in Sophia's eyes. She couldn't resist the opportunity to tease Chris a bit for wanting her all to himself.

"You know, Chris," she began with a playful tone, "it's cute how you wanted me all to yourself. Are you secretly jealous of Matt and Nick's admiration for my music?"

Chris chuckled, his cheeks slightly reddening. "Well, maybe just a little bit," he admitted, playing along with her teasing. "But hey, who wouldn't be jealous when they have such an amazing artist all to themselves?"

Sophia grinned, enjoying the banter. "You're smooth with your words, Mr. Jealous Boy."

Chris laughed, shaking his head. "Guilty as charged, Soph. But can you blame me? You're pretty incredible."

Hours passed, the soft glow of their screens casting gentle light across their faces. Sophia yawned, her eyelids growing heavy. "You know, Chris," she said with a drowsy smile, "I've had such a wonderful time talking to you tonight."

Chris, equally tired but unwilling to end their conversation, replied softly, "I've enjoyed every moment, Soph. You have no idea how much it means to me."

Sophia shifted on her bed, snuggling under the covers. "Hey, what if we do something we talked about earlier? Fall asleep over FaceTime?"

Chris's eyes brightened at the idea. "That sounds perfect," he agreed, adjusting his phone so it stood beside him on the nightstand. "I'll just leave it on while we drift off."

Sophia did the same, propping her phone up on her pillow. They continued talking, their words growing slower and sleepier with each passing minute. Their breathing gradually synchronized, and their eyes drooped.

In the quiet of the night, they shared the intimacy of a moment that transcended physical distance. It was as though they were side by side, the miles between them fading into insignificance. Their connection was stronger than ever, and as their voices grew faint, they finally succumbed to slumber, falling asleep together over FaceTime.
