YEAR 1

Sophia shifted slightly on the couch, the glow from the Christmas lights reflecting in her eyes as she watched the Grinch's heartwarming transformation. The room was filled with a mix of laughter and the sweet scent of pine, creating an atmosphere of holiday cheer.

Chris, sensing Sophia's discomfort with the sudden surge of sentimentality on the screen, tightened his hold around her. "Can't handle the Grinch's heart growing, huh?" he teased, his lips forming a playful grin.

She crinkled her nose, playfully pushing him away. "Too much sweetness for me. I prefer my Christmas with a dash of sarcasm and a sprinkle of mischief."

He chuckled, his fingers tracing circles on her shoulder. "I'll make sure to add some mischief to our holiday then."

Sophia smirked, her eyes narrowing in mock suspicion. "Should I be worried?"

Chris pressed a soft kiss on her forehead. "Only if you can't handle a Christmas filled with love and cheesy moments."

Their exchange was momentarily interrupted by Sasha's unfiltered comment from across the room. "You both are absolutely disgusting."

Sophia shot a quick glare at her friend. "Sash, you're just mad because you don't have a love story as epic as ours."

Sasha rolled her eyes. "That's what you think" she said, but her attention quickly shifted back to her boyfriend, Matt, as they shared a whispered conversation.

Undeterred, Chris and Sophia exchanged a knowing look, a silent agreement passing between them. It was time to share the special gifts they had prepared for each other, gifts that spoke volumes about their journey together.

Rising gracefully from the couch, Chris offered his arm to Sophia, and they made their way to his room, leaving behind curious glances from their friends.

Chris's room was a haven of holiday decorations. Fairy lights adorned every available surface, casting a warm and intimate glow. A small Christmas tree stood proudly in the corner, decorated with ornaments that held sentimental value for the couple.

Chris reached under his bed and pulled out a beautifully wrapped box, the paper adorned with festive patterns and tied with a satin ribbon. He presented it to Sophia with a smile that held a promise of something special. "Merry Christmas, my love."

Sophia's eyes sparkled with excitement as she carefully untied the ribbon and unwrapped the box. Inside was a carefully crafted scrapbook, its cover adorned with pictures of the two of them together. She skimmed through it and each page held a memory, a snapshot of their journey, and a handwritten note expressing Chris's feelings.

Her breath caught up in her throat as she continued flipping through the pages, a mixture of laughter and tears escaping her. The realization of the effort and love put into each page left her speechless.

Chris watched her with a mixture of anticipation and affection. "I wanted to capture every moment we've shared, every smile, every adventure. It's our story, Sophia." He said as he bent down next to her.

She looked up at him, her eyes shining with emotion. "Chris, this is... it's the most thoughtful gift I've ever received. I love it." She said, laying her hands on his cheeks and pressing a kiss to his lips.

Not to be outdone, Sophia reached for a carefully wrapped package from her bag. "Your turn now Chris."

He took the gift with a grin, unwrapping it with care. Once he had a first look at the gift, he discovered a box. Opening it, he found a ticket for official participation in a Lyrical Lemonade music video. Digging a little deeper into the box, he also uncovered a Lyrical Lemonade T-shirt signed by Cole Bennett himself.

Chris held it in his hands, unable to believe his eyes. His jaw dropped to the floor, his gaze fixed on Sophia's face. "No way," he whispered, still doubting his senses. He let everything fall on his bed and jumped up into Sophia's arms.

His arms snuggled around her waist as he picked her up and twirled her around. Giggles flew past her lips before she could realize it. "Let me down!" she exclaimed, worried he might let her fall.

Chris didn't oblige. He stood still with her hovering over him in his arms, looking at her like she was the only girl in the world.

"I love you so much, Sophia."

"I love you so much too, Chris."

He let her down a little before pressing a hard, chaste kiss on her lips. The world around them seemed to stop once their lips touched.

After the kiss, he slowly let her down to the floor. "I want to be with you forever," he whispered into her ear. She didn't bother to answer because what she did instead was enough of an answer.

She latched her lips back onto his.

YEAR 2

Sitting on the kitchen table, with Chrid standing in the middle of her legs, Sophia was waiting for her cereal to finish heating up in the microwave.

She kept leaving small pecks on Chris lips, to which he always responded with a satisfied hum. "I" He pecked her lips. "Love" He pecked her lips again. "You" He pecked them a last time.

She bopped his nose when she was about to do it aswell, but a loud DING! emitted from the microwave.

So Sophia pushed her boyfriend back a little to which he acted very dramatically and pretended to be pushed with strength she knew she didn't have.

The kitchen was all cozy with the low hum of the microwave. Sophia grabbed her cereal, and the fridge light made everything kind of soft and glowy, making her look extra nice. Chris, watching her, just felt all warm and fuzzy.

On the TV, there was some romantic scene playing, and Chris got this idea. He nudged Sophia, a playful grin on his face. "Hey, why not make our own movie moment?"

Sophia raised an eyebrow, curious. "What do you have in mind, Director Chris?"

With a twinkle in his eyes, Chris stood up, holding out his hand. "Dance with me, right here, right now, in the glow of the fridge light."

Sophia, surprised by the unexpected request, chuckled. "Dance? Seriously, right now?"

Chris nodded, his eyes saying it's all in good fun. "Yeah, why not? We're the main characters in our own love story, aren't we?"

Sophia, up for a bit of spontaneity, put her hand in his. "Should I lead?" he whispered.

Feeling a mix of excitement and nerves, Sophia grinned. "I think you're the better dancer here, baby," she said, getting a bit closer.

Chris, with a gentle move, put his hand on her waist, the other holding hers. They swayed, and their eyes locked, creating a little world of their own in the soft fridge light.

They laughed, and Sophia rested her head on Chris's shoulder, just enjoying the moment. The TV's lovey-dovey music was the soundtrack to their little kitchen dance.

Chris, feeling all sentimental, shared a silly thought. "If our lives had a soundtrack, this would be the perfect song."

Sophia laughed, her sound filling the kitchen. "What would you call it?"

Chris pretended to think, being playful. "How about 'Dance of Love in the Fridge Light'?"

More laughter from Sophia. "Sounds perfect. We should copyright it."

As they danced, their chat continued, going from silly stuff to deeper talks about the time they've spent together. Chris was enjoying their easy talk as much as the cozy dance.

The song on the TV faded, but their dance kept going. Chris spilled his thoughts. "You know, Sophia, these moments with you? They're my favorite."

She smiled, all sweet. "Same, Chris. It's like it's just us, and nothing else matters."

The fridge light kept their faces in a soft glow as they danced, each step telling a bit of their love story. Chris, getting all emotional, whispered, "I never want this to end."

Sophia looked at him, her eyes all warm. "Me neither. Let's make it last forever."

As their dance slowed down, Chris gave her a gentle forehead kiss. "I want to remember this forever."

Sophia looked up at him, all tender. "And I will, Chris. Every single moment."

The fridge light, like a silent friend, watched their little dance and talk. They stood there, just soaking in the simple beauty of a kitchen dance that turned into a special moment in Chris and Sophia's love story.

YEAR 3

On a warm summer day, Chris and Sophia found themselves strolling through a beautiful field. The sun painted the scene in golden hues, and a gentle breeze carried the sweet scent of wildflowers. The air was filled with a quiet tranquility, setting the stage for a moment that would linger in their memories.

As they walked hand in hand, Chris couldn't help but notice the beauty around them mirrored in Sophia's radiant smile. The wildflowers swayed with the rhythm of the wind, creating a serene backdrop to their journey.

Arriving at a spot surrounded by nature's vibrant colors, Chris turned to Sophia with a gentle smile. "Sophia, there's something I've been wanting to ask you."

Sophia's eyes lit up with curiosity. "What is it, Chris?"

With a softness in his gaze, he continued, "Today has been filled with wonderful moments, but there's one more I want to share with you."

A warm breeze rustled through the wildflowers as Chris pulled out a small, wrapped box. Handing it to Sophia, he watched as she unwrapped it, revealing a simple yet beautiful ring.

Chris, now kneeling in the midst of the wildflowers, looked up at Sophia. "Sophia," he said, his voice carried by the gentle summer breeze, "I know that we're both still super young, but from the moment we met, you've brought so much joy into my life. Here, in this beautiful field, surrounded by summer's warmth, I want to ask you the most important question. Will you marry me?"

Sophia's eyes widened with surprise and joy. She covered her mouth with her hands, her eyes gleaming with happy tears. "Yes, Chris. Oh, yes!"

Chris, overwhelmed with emotion, got back on his feet and slid the ring onto her finger. He took her into his arms. As they embraced, the sun dipped lower on the horizon, casting long shadows that danced with the wildflowers.

Sophia pulled back, her eyes meeting Chris's, and she saw something she hadn't expected. His eyes glistened with unshed tears, and a single drop escaped, tracing a path down his cheek. It wasn't just a tear; it was a river of emotion breaking free.

"Chris, are you okay?" Sophia asked, her voice filled with concern.

He nodded, a mixture of joy and vulnerability in his eyes. "Sophia, these tears, they're not of sadness. They're tears of overwhelming happiness. The thought of spending my life with you, of creating a future together, it's just too beautiful."

Sophia, touched by the depth of his emotions, wiped away his tears gently. "You sweet, wonderful man. I never knew a proposal could be so emotional."

Chris chuckled through his tears. "I never knew a love like ours could bring me to this point. You've filled my life with so much joy, Sophia."

In the heart of the summer field, surrounded by the kaleidoscope of wildflowers, Chris and Sophia embarked on a journey that promised a future filled with countless sunny days, warm embraces, and the enduring beauty of a love story that blossomed in the heart of nature. The sun cast its golden glow upon them, casting a radiant aura on the beginning of their forever.

"I can't wait to spend forever with you"
