📍BABYLON

°-•- ☼ -•-°

People ran away from their small huts and houses as a group of Deviants charged towards them, screaming out in fear. The creatures wrecked everything on their way. The gates of the city of Babylon were open, where the walls were high and secure enough, thanks to Phastos.

Thena used one of her swords to slash through the head of a Deviant. Kingo watched it from a distance as his shoulders slumped in disappointment, "Hey, that one was mine! Oh, never mind—Y/N!"

"Your welcome!" you called out to him as you took down the Deviant he was fighting by hurling your blade at it.

"Quick, inside the gate!" Gilgamesh ushered the last crowd of people inside as the doors shut close behind him, preparing one of his fists for the attack.

The last Deviant, which had a similar appearance to a gorrilla, charged directly towards him and Gilgamesh delivered a strong punch squarely at the horns. This made the creature flip over in the air above him to crash on the walls of the city. The Deviant stood up once again and this time it tossed him away, but Makkari caught him just in time.

Ikaris flew in and fired energy beams at the creature directly from his eyes, and Kingo climbed in one of the chariots to attack from the side.

Nodding at each other, you and your mother, Thena, jumped up into the air. Gilgamesh caught you both by your feet and pushed you up onto the top of the Deviant.

Thena slashed its horns while you summoned a gigantic blade and drove it right into the skull of the creature.

Makkari sped from the side and crashed into the creature just as you and your mother landed to the ground gracefully.

The Deviant shrivelled back to the ground with a thud, destroying one of the statues at the entrance of Babylon, but it's noises continued on, as the creature groaned in pain.

Gilgamesh, who was the closest to it, turned back and delivered the the last hit, delivering a strong smack to the side of its face as it laid there motionless.

The people that were hiding away in their own homes, running away from the threat peeked out at the newly formed silence, seeing how six of the Eternals stood at the entrance of the city.

After the combat at the edge of the city, the six of you returned back to the Domo. You and Kingo headed straight to Sprite, talking to her about

You noticed Druig and Makkari at the other end of the room, talking about something between themselves as Druig said something that made the woman giggle to herself.

In an attempt to distract yourself from intrusive and paranoid thoughts, you excused yourself frpm Kingo and Sprite and made it towards the door.

"Where are you going?" Ikaris blocked your way, raising his eyebrows at you.

"Hunt for Deviants," you retorted, which exactly wasn't a lie. You wanted to get out, but if you found a Deviant, you were sure to take out your emotions on it.

"We just came back,"

"I'm pretty sure a few more might be lurking around," you shrugged, "Wouldn't hurt to take a look, right?"

"I can't let you go fight on your own," Ikaris stated.

"Alright then," you smiled kindly, "Tag along by all means,"

Druig's attention snapped towards you and Ikaris. It was simple friendly gesture, offering to help, but to Druig's eyes, it seemed something more than that.

Makkari looked between him, and you and Ikaris. She nudged his arm to get his attention, "You're jealous," she signed to him with a raise of her eyebrow.

"Am not," Druig retorted in defence, hands clasped behind his back.

"It wasn't a question,"

He scoffed at her, finding his eyes falling back to you and Ikaris, feeling a new emotion bubble with him—Jealousy; and of course, a new reason to hate Ikaris.

"I'll tell her soon,"  he signed to Makkari in determination, "I will,"
