The smell of salt water and the calming feeling of the breeze gave the idea of a peaceful day to the humans who lived by the seashore.

A fisherman and his son were seen hunting down fish on the rocky shore, unaware of the danger that lingered. The father hunted fish for the village while the child gutted and prepped them in peace until the tranquility was interrupted by a scream.

A group of people that were there accompanying the father and son began yelling and running away. The son, clearly frightened, turned to his father.  The father urged his son to run away, seconds before a Deviant emerged from the waters and devoured the boy's father.

The boy stood there in shock and terror. The deviant was about to lunge at the boy when a beam of cosmic energy shot at the deviant.

Ikaris dived straight into the Deviant's mouth, beams of cosmic energy scorching the Deviant's insides. 

Makkari sensed another Deviant about to attack the boy from behind. She sped towards him and took him out of harm's way. 

Kingo strode down the path as the people continued to scurry around him; he held up his fingers and shot cosmic blasts at the creature.

Makkari sped from the side and knocked it away, causing it to collapse to the ground.

It had tried to get up again, but then it let out a screech of pain when you impaled its neck with a glowing spear. You jumped off to the Deviant just in time as Kingo sent a cosmic blast at it, throwing it off the cliff in the process.

"Good fight," Kingo signed to you and Makkari.

 "You too," you both signed back at him.

Meanwhile, Gilgamesh, and your mother, Thena, had grouped up and taken down another Deviant.

Once all of the creatures were taken down, the villagers who were in hiding came out of their spots, instantly drawing their spears in fear and caution. 

Druig raised his hand in front of him as his eyes turned gold; the eyes of the people glowed the same colour and they dropped their weapons.

Ajak nodded to Sersi who walked up to the boy they had saved earlier and picked up his dagger whom he used to gut the fish. 

She used her powers to morph the dagger from stone to gold and offered it to him, as an act of truce between humans and the Eternals.
