MOLLIE AMATO had been avoiding a certain slovak youtuber after learning she had been harbouring feelings for the boy. she felt incredibly bad for doing so but she knew if she wanted to get rid of the feels then she would have to, have to at least try.

she finally realised why she felt so safe and comfortable around him, she understood why she got butterflies every time his name popped up on her phone screen or any time she saw the boy. she had been ignoring every phone call, letting it ring out until she heard silence. she didn't ever open any messages from him either. she completely disappeared from his life in a matter of three days.

david hadn't a clue of what he had done wrong, considering he hadn't done anything other than steal the amato's heart. for the sixth time in the last hour, david dialled mollie's number, hoping to hear her real voice from the other end, instead of some cute voice recording she probably spent ages recording. unfortunately he was met just that. "hey, i'm sorry  i've missed your call! please call me back" mollie's prerecorded voice spoke. after hearing the bleep david began thinking of what to say this time round.

"hey, it's been three days moll. what ever i've done please tell me and don't be mad at me! mcdonalds, cuddling and drake and josh isn't the same with out you" david said into the speaker, proceeding to hang up after.

what the mocha haired boy didn't know was that mollie amato was listening to every voicemail he left. she felt so bad for making him believe that she was mad at him because she wasn't. she was mad at herself. mad at herself for sabotaging her friendship with him.

david decided enough was enough and was on his way to the apartment building near hollywood boulevard. making his was towards her door, he made sure he brought everything that the girl loved. cheetos, peach iced tea, kinder chocolate, a beautiful assortment of flowers and much more. he went all out, just for her.

he knocked on the door, patiently waiting for his best friend to answer. he did not expect to see a underdressed, tired looking mollie. she wore a messy bun, sweats, and had very evident eye bags. she was a mess. "david?" mollie asked confusedly. the slovak gave her a goofy grin before walking into her apartment, placing his bags down and turning round to give mollie amato a tight and warm hug.

"i've really missed you mollie, i'm sorry for anything i did" david apologised, still confused as to why the singer was upset with him. mollie wholeheartedly smiled. "davey! you didn't do anything! i'm sorry for not answering your calls, i've just been a bit down" mollie answered with slight unhonesty.

"oh thank fucking god, not thank god that you're sad but i had no idea how i was going to get you to not be angry with me" the boy laughed, turning back to his bags and picking up the assortment of flowers he picked, with help from none other than natalie mariduena. "david! they're beautiful! you didn't have to" mollie scolded, she felt bad that he would go to such an extreme for her.

"i really love you dave, i don't deserve you, i treat you like shit sometimes and you're still always there for me" mollie whispered, feeling guilty of her selfishness, she starting letting small tears leak out of her chocolate eyes. david noticed right away that she was upset and grabbed her for a hug, holding onto her tightly and giving her a kiss on the head. "i don't think that and i never will, you don't and you know that. you come over to my house at three am to help me edit like at least four times a week?" david told the amato, lightening the mood.

the two spent their night cuddled up in mollie's bed. mollie pressing play on a movie she had previously been watching before the brunette boy arrived. mollie amato wanted to live in that moment forever, his fingers running through her chestnut locks, loving the warmth that overtook her heart when she thought about the vlogger. nearing the end of the movie, david heard small breaths leaving the mouth of mollie amato. knowing she'd fallen asleep, he turned the tv off and moved to a more comfortable position for the night. he moved to lay on his back, mollie nuzzling into his chest.

david smiled to himself, loving how comfortable mollie could make herself by his side. he admired how the moonlight that shined through the windows, highlighted the high points of her beautiful face. it was the little moments like these that made david julian dobrik fall more in love with mollie elizabeth amato every single day, which he didn't even recognise yet.
