↣ 𝘈 𝘚𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦

When they finally got at the courtyard of Auradon Prep, they discovered that everyone who had been mingling had fallen asleep. Rowan strolled besides Evie as they took in their surroundings. Rowan couldn't help but feel guilty because Audrey wasn't angry with them. they were just in the crosswalk.

Gil has a bewildered expression on his face as he surveys his surroundings. That went on for a moment more, and then the hush around them was broken by Gaston's son. "Everything is so..."

"Freaky."

"Green." Gil exclaimed, the blonde boy continued to look around at the surrounding plants before he continued speaking. "You have leaves on your trees- and what are those color things in the bushes?"

"Uh... flowers?"

Gil remarked, "Flowers are pretty," then his gaze shifted to a dish of grapes. "cantaloupe!"

"Flowers are quite lovely." Harry turned to face Rowan as he moved around the student table and spoke. But there was a hand raised in front of him.

Jay rolled his eyes and pushed him slightly back. "There is nothing stopping me from squashing you like a bug."

Harry only chuckled, "Don't think I'm afraid of you, Jay," he pointed his hook at him.

"Dude!" Carlos gave a little chirp. The dog burped and ate food off of someone's finger, enjoying the free food. "Dude, really?"

"What it wasn't me I swear. Okay, it was me."

Carlos looked at him with a soft smile. "Oh, do you know what happened here?" He asked.

"Yep, Audrey showed up, she put everybody to sleep, and then she turned some of them to--"

"Guys," Evie emphasised. "Hanna was turned into stone." The group rushed to Hannah's stone figure and Dude followed behind.

Jay cautioned, "All right. Everybody stay on their toes."

Uma looked at her temporary allies and then away from the immobilised pupils, saying, "Look, since we're here, let's check the school."

"No." Mal answered, causing the three pirates to whirl back and look at her with bewildered and angered expressions. Not too long afterwards, Maleficent's daughter proceeded with her explanation. "Audrey went straight for the crown, so I think it's safe to assume she's gonna go for Ben and his castle next."

"Says who?"

"Says me."

"Says you. That's supposed to mean something to me?" Uma inquired, crossing her arms.

"Guys." Evie interrupted, making them both look at her.

Before declaring that they were going to the castle, Mal returned her focus to Uma. The Future Queen left the pirate princess before she could argue and started travelling in the direction of Beast Castle.

"This way." Dude spoke as they turned the corner.

"Ben could be asleep anywhere." Mal said as they continued searching the corridor's

"Or turned to stone." Celia shrugged only to have Evie cover her mouth.

Dude continued his way down the hall until he stopped and turned. "I got a scent, very pungent cologne, easy to track.. Follow me, people."

"That's great, Dude." Carlos complimented.

"FYI, I give great cuddles, too."

"Really? I never had a pet growing up. Except for the elk head in dad's man cave, but that's not really--" Gil was interrupted by Uma as she put her hand up.

"Any chance this was already there?" Carlos asked to which Mal only sighed.

"And follow me!" Dude said, running down the hallway. They all followed him as they made their way into a room that was filled with armour.

Rowan looks over the armour, noting its differences from the armour worn by the royal guards at home. Before someone intervened, she ran her finger along the sword's underside.

"I wouldn't touch something just because it seems sparkly, darling." As Harry stepped next to her, Rowan turned her head as she took her hand off the sword.

"I must be a light that you are compelled to follow." As she felt his hook brush across her chin, she spoke.

"Well, I have to say that it's not hard to resist the temptation to follow you." He says that when she passed past him to join the other group, she looked down and blushed.

Harry was boredly looking around the hallway while Mal and Uma continued their customary argument. Then, he noticed that an entire suit of armour moved to face the group of teenagers.

"I believe we're being challenged" he said but everyone ignored him and continued to talk.

"Let's split up and look for Audrey" Uma said only for Mal of course had to disagree

"Girls!" he shouted finally capturing everyone's attention "we have a situation here"

"A knight in dazzling armour, perhaps? or Knights?" Audrey's voice echoed around the hall as she cackled. The knights stepped off their platforms and formed an offensive stance. Swords sharpened, a dozen knights gathered around the group, aiming at them.

After receiving a sword from Jay, Rowan engaged in combat with one of the knights, primarily using her body to push back against the armoured figure. unwilling to give up.

The squad once again defeated the enemy when the knights finally gave way from tiredness. Rowan was being spun around by Harry when he reached over and hugged her.

"Now, that's what I'm talking about!" Uma lifted her hand, but as soon as Mal and she realised what they were doing, they withdrew their hands. The boys had likewise erased their smiles.

"Oh, come on, guys," moaned Evie. "We worked well together on that. Together, we laboured." Once more splitting up, the two groups celebrated with their respective pals. "Guys, get moving. This was just fantastic." Evie extended her hand to grasp Mal's and Uma's, but they slapped it back.

Sighing, Evie said, "You know what we ought to try? A conversation starter. You make an extremely positive statement about someone, right? I'll get going. Harry, Fantastic accent. Well, it's your turn now."

"Is she always this perky?" Uma asked.

"Okay, Evie, come here," Mal pulled Evie back, "I love you."

"I love you."

"I love this energy, but we are short on time.
Audrey clearly knows that we're here and we need to get out of here. ASAP."

"All right," Uma cut in, "Where does the cheerleader bunk down? Even though she isn't there, we could find some sort of clue."

"Actually, she's in the dorms," Evie corrected.

Mal gasped, "You're right because of summer school."

Harry burst laughing, "Summer school? Summer school! No wonder she wants revenge." Rowan smiled at his remark.

"Okay, I need you guys to go find Ben. We will meet back at Evie's in two hours, okay?" Mal commands.

"Sounds like we're going with my plan. I'm just saying." Uma told her.

"It was kind of the obvious plan." Mal replied rolling her eyes.

"Uma said it first." Gil replied proudly.

"Whatever." Mal muttered.

"I'll go with the boys, makes things a lot easier." Rowan said with a grin. "Also searching for people is somehow my kinda thing.
