[ no need to download it, we'll have it in the website we use. ]

━ following overlays :

━ STEP ONE ❪ ꗃ ❫

open pixlr and click on create new.

type out the dimensions 512*800 in the box that pops up and click on create.

━ STEP TWO ❪ ꗃ ❫

from the page that opens up, click on the following icon.

this will take you to your file explorer, now choose the image you want on the cover.

click on save once you have the image fit on the canvas.

export as png from the box that pops up.

ok so the reason i use pixlr to fit the image in the canvas and not photopea is bc i still haven't figured out how to transform to scale on photopea w/o getting the image distorted. plus pixlr is easier to get around and record all the designs you make which as far as i know photopea doesn't?

━ STEP THREE ❪ ꗃ ❫

open photopea and click on open from computer and open the image you just saved from pixlr.

now click on file in the top bar and choose open from the drop down menu and choose your psd from your gallery.

apply the psd on the image [i've done a tutorial on applying psd in this very book, you can go check it out if you like]

━ STEP FOUR ❪ ꗃ ❫

click on file from the top menu and click on open and place.

choose the first overlay i've given at the very top of the chapter and it'll open up on the canvas.

fit the overlay on the canvas.

and right-click on the layer with the overlay and choose on blending options from the dropdown menu.

you'll see a box like this pop up ^

choose screen from the dropdown menu of blend mode.

repeat the same instructions with the second overlay.

━ STEP FIVE ❪ ꗃ ❫

you've got something like this so far :

insert your text [ font : IM FELL DW ]

to distort your text follow the method from the tutorial in this book [ warped text ]

aaaand thats it, youre done!

you get this is as the end result :

━ NOTE ! ❪ ꗃ ❫

make sure to give credit if you use this tutorial for your cover. unlike the other tutorials, you are expected to give inspo creds every time you publish/use a cover made following this tutorial. 
and for the people who think changing up the order of overlays or not using one , little things like that, can excuse you from credits, you are wrong.
for gods sake, don't steal or claim as yours when clearly it's my idea; its disrespectful and i've seen people making graphics deadly similar to mine and not giving the necessary credits, so give the mf-ing creds.
