"Oikawa!" I call for the setter grabbing him by the wrist to stop him from leaving the classroom.

The lunch bell had now rung signalling lunch, the setter and I being the only ones left.

I had to, needed to talk to him as I continued to notice his face grow gradually more tired by the day.

Those light brown coloured orbs seemed to hold something that I couldn't decipher and I wanted to know what it was.

"Can weβ€”" I begin trying to think of what to say. "Can we talk about what happened Friday night?" My hand let's go of his wrist as I stare at him longingly.

"That's if you remember that night at aβ€”"

"I remember Naka-San," He cuts me off his gaze fully meeting mine. "I remember the entire night."

"Oh," Was all I was able to get out as I honestly had no clue on what to say next.

"I'm not angry at you anymore Naka," Oikawa continues letting out an intent sigh as he runs a hand through his hair.  "I'm actually thankful."

"Thankful?" I mumble my eyebrows furrowing at his words.

"Yeah..." The boys' voice drifts off. "That night wasn't really the best as I drank my worries
outβ€”" A small frown etches onto his lips. "But also because I finally came out to my parents and they didn't accept me."

"Wait what?!" My voice rose at his words as I took a step towards him noticing his eyes watering slightly.  "You told me that night that you didn't tell them."

"No I actually lied, I guess it was my drunk self talking," A sarcastic laugh escaped Oikawa's lips. "But I finally had the guts to do it, and you know what they did?" Tears now slowly travelled down his face. "They called me a disappointment then kicked me out."

At this point it had felt like a rollercoaster to try and take in all the information Oikawa was spewing out.

There stood right in front of you a boy who seemed lost. It really hurt me.

"They kicked you out?" I finally whisper out quietly, a small frown coming to my lips.

"That's why I was found that night by you blackout drunk. I didn't know where to go," His voice cracks ever so slightly letting out a cough to avoid breaking down in this moment.

"Wait I found you?" My eyes widened to which he nodded in response.

"Yeah, I remember only you finding me that night in front of the convenience store."

'I guess he doesn't remember Mattsun being there' I thought to myself before a sudden question hit my mind.

"Where are you staying right now?"

At my question Oikawa had gone dead silent as he broke my unwavering gaze averting his eyes to the ground.

"Oikawaβ€”"

"I'm just staying in a motel around here," The setter mumbles. "I don't really have much money nor relatives who live here to take me in so..."

"How come you didn't ask me?"

"I felt embarrassed," The boy huffs out running a hand through his brown locks. "Embarrassed that you had to see me in this state and guilty for making you cut your date short with Iwaizumi."

"You knew that I went on a date with him that night?" I ask.

"Yeah I overheard Mattsun and Makki talking about it," Oikawa responds his eyes still fixated on the floor. "I'll admit at first that I was hurt and jealous of you two hiding your relationship.

I mean I hadn't come to the conclusion that I saw him as more than a friend till I slowly watched your relationship with him grow."

I couldn't help but feel a sting in my heart at the thought of Oikawa watching one he liked be with someone else even when that person had been me.

"But..." The setter quietly mumbles as he focuses on his fidgeting hands. "I'm honestly just happy that Iwa has found someone who cares for him. He hasn't had someone like that in a while."

Those words hit me like a ton of bricks. I knew of Hajime's situation worth his parents but the setters words seemed to have more meaning to it. Yet I didn't want to push it at a time like this.

I could hear a quiet breath escape his lips as my eyes stayed glued to the ground almost trying to take in everything he had said.

That's till I noticed delicate tears falling to the ground my eyes following to meet with the brown-haired boy who had tears running down his cheek.

"I'm sorry that I keep breaking down in front of you and am pulling you in this mess. But I just don't know what to do," Oikawa sobs out quietly trying to prevent more tears from falling. "I feel so lost Naka."

Instinctively I closen the distance between the two of us wrapping my arms around him in a comforting hug.

"I'm sorry," He mumbles in his face stuffed in my shoulder to prevent himself from breaking down anymore.

"It's okay I understand," Was all I could say as I rubbed his back soothingly in hopes of calming him down.

The two of us only stayed in this position for what seemed like hours but was truly merely minutes.

"I'm going to ask my mom if you could stay over at my place for the time being," I pull back so that I could see his face. "We have a spare room and she wouldn't mind it at all."

"Are you surβ€”"

"Yes I am sure I can't leave you alone with now knowing of your situation," I cut him off a small smile on my lips.

At my words Oikawa's once frowning expression now turned into a light smile, a real smile.

"Thank you so much Naka-Chan you're a great friend," The setter brings his hand up to pat my head.

"Of course I'll always be there for you Oikawa."

"Also I know this is a bit too much to ask but could you not tell Iwaizumi," He mumbles quietly. "I just don't want him to know yet."

"Yeah of course I understand," I smile warmly at the setter. "After school we can go pick up your stuff and bring them to my house. I'll have a talk with my mom."

"Wow okay," The happy aura never left the male as he looked behind my shoulder before meeting my eyes. "I'm really grateful for you Naka-Chan thank you so much."

-

"Hey baby do you want to study together today?" The black haired ace had asked as he caught up to me lacing his fingers into mine.

Turning to Iwaizumi I let out a light laugh. "You mean try to study, we rarely get anything done," I poke his chest playfully as a smile caressed my face.

"I meanβ€”" He begins as he slowly leaned closer towards me. "what's wrong with doing more than studying?" Iwaizumi's breath had lingered on your ear your body shivering at the contact.

"N-nothig's wrong with that," I mumble as my face heated up slightly at the thought.

"Alright so let me come over," A gentle kiss was placed on the back on my ear as a low chuckle could be heard from the male as if almost in accomplishment.

Yet the moment had been ruined by the sound of my phone chiming, to which I reach out of my pocket to notice a text from Oikawa.

I have to help him move in today.

"Who's that?"

"Oh it's actually my manager, she needs me to work a shift today as we're low on employees," I quickly turn off my phone stuffing it in my pocket.

"Didn't you work yesterday as well?" Iwaizumi had asked as we both stopped in front of the exit him

"Yeah, we've just been busy recently," I laugh before lifting my head up slightly to set a peck on his lips. "I'll call you later alright?"

What had surprised me was when Iwaizumi hadn't responded for a few seconds as his eyes lingered on his hands for a few seconds.

"Okay," He finally speaks his eyes locking with mine as a smile curved onto his lips. With a light kiss I sent him one more smile before turning on my heels exiting the school.

I couldn't help but let out a relieved breath as my hands fidgeted with my backpack.

I don't know if I can keep doing this.

-

"So this is the room you've been staying at for the past few weeks," I mumble as my eyes roam around the sight displayed in front of me.

"Yeah isn't the cleanest room," A joking chuckle escapes the setter as he tosses the keys on the desk before moving towards the suitcase that was set in the corner of the room.

As Oikawa began stuffing his belongings in his bags I decide to wander around the room my eyes quick to lock to the garbage can a shiny object reflecting slighy.

Appraching so my heart had nearly dropped at the display of empty alcohol bottles that nearly filed the trash bin.

Just how long had this been going on for? I coulnd't help but ponder as my eyes kept to the bin.

"Do you mind taking out the trash for me?" Oikawa's voice had broken me out of my thoughts as my eyes flickered to meet his.

He held such a look that could be deciphered as one of regret as his eyes wavered to the trash for a quick second.

"Yeah for sure, once you're done meet me at my car," I grab the bag tying it up before lifting it out of the bin.

Oikawa only gives a thumbs up in response before I exit the room in search for the trash chute.

"There it is," I mumble walking towards the bin tossing the heavy bag in.

Letting out a small breath I turn on my heel walking towards the direction of the parking lot.

Yet it had been a familair figure that caught my eye as it walked down the halls. The familair brown hair, hazel eyes, it had to be him.

Without a second thought I quickly yet quitely follow the figure from a reasonable distance.

It had gone on for a solid minute till they had suddenly taken a abrupt stop as their phone rang.

"Hello?" The low tone spoke to the phone my body stiffening in an instant.

It was him. My dad.

"Naka-Chan where are you?!" Oikawa's voice had broken me out of my thoughts as I let out a small curse before rushing back to the setter who now held his suitcase in hand.

"You ready?"

Looking back the figure had now been gone I respond with a small nod before walking with Oikawa towards the car.

Yet the thought of who I had just seen couldn't escape my mind as too many questions lingered.

Why was he here and who was he talking to?
