"No, no. What?" He said looking at us as I glanced at Nat and Yelena, "I want them to follow their dreams." Alexei said looking at Melina then towards us. "No good." Melina disagreed, shaking her head as I took another shot.

"Reach for the stars, girls." He said spreading his arms out and looking at us as I sighed at this conversation. "Finding Dreykov is not a fantasy." Nat said before continuing, "It's unfinished business." Nat said nodding towards them as I took a bite out of the food.

"You can't defeat a man who commands the very will of others." Melina said shaking her head towards Natasha and eating. "You two never saw the culmination of what we started in America." She said glancing at Nat and I. She looked at Alexei, "Nor did you." She said shaking her head.

She pushed her seat back and got up, to grab something. "Natasha, always focus, focus." Alexei whispered towards Nat and I cocked an eyebrow at him. "Get what you want." He said eating as Melina came back with a tablet in her hands.

She sat down back in her seat, pushing some buttons, "Come in." She said loudly as I looked at her confused and the door opened. We all quickly looked at the door which opened, seeing a pig waddle in the house and towards Melina.

"Did that pig just open the door?" I asked looking at Melina as she looked up from the pig, "Yes." She said looking at me, proud, "It did." She said looking down at the pig. "Good boy, Alexei." She said feeding the pig a treat, "Good boy." She said as I looked at Alexei wanting to die of laughter.

Alexei looked at Melina almost offended, "You named a pig after me?" He asked her as she looked up at him, "You don't see the resemblance?" She said shaking her head as he looked at us and I snickered.

"See, he sits just like dog." She said excitedly and I leaned forward to look at 'Alexei' and she looks at us proudly, "Amazing." She said nodding her head whilst glancing at us, "Now, watch." She said looking down at the tablet.

"It's a little weird, to me." Alexei said lowly as he looked down at 'Alexei' I looked at Yelena. "Stop breathing." Melina says loudly as she slides her finger across the screen and 'Alexei' stops breathing.

She looked up at us nodding and smiling as I looked at Yelena, "We infiltrated the North Institute in Ohio." Melina began to explain, "It was a front for S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists." She said before quickly adding to her sentence.

"Actually, it was Hydra scientists at that time." She said pointing towards us with the vodka bottle in her hand. I looked at her, "In conjunction with the Winter Soldier project, they had dissected and deconstructed the human brain to create the first and only cellular blueprint of the basal ganglia." She said as I leaned back whilst looking at her, listening carefully.

"Was the hub for cognition." Melina said nodding towards us, "Voluntary motor movement, procedural learning." She said as I looked over to check on 'Alexei' as she continued, "We didn't steal weaponry or technology." She said looking at Alexei, smirking towards him.

"We stole the key to unlocking free will." She said taking a shot and I looked at Yelena, my heart breaking at the look on her face. 'Alexei' grunts and falls to the side and I looked at Melina, "What are you doing?" I said frowning at her as she looked at me.

"Oh, I am explaining that the science is now so exact, the subject can be instructed to stop breathing and has no choice but to obey." She said nodding as I looked at Yelena as I shook my head at her. "Okay, you made your point. That's enough." Nat said nodding and looking at 'Alexei' as I sighed.

"Yes, all right." She said nodding whilst looking down at 'Alexei' then looked at Nat, "Well, don't worry, Alexei could've survived eleven more seconds without oxygen." She said pressing the button letting him breath again and he got up.

"Good boy." She said nodding towards 'Alexei' before speaking, "Now, you go back, back home where it's safe." She said as 'Alexei' began to waddle away from us. "You go. You go back home, back home where it's safe." She said loudly as he waddled towards the door and out of the house.

Alexei looked at us, raising his eyebrows, "Good boy, Alexei." She said as I drank my water and looked at her.
"The world functions on a higher level when it is controlled." Melina started as she looked at Nat and I.

"Dreykov has chemically subjugated agents planted around the globe." She said looking at us as I clenched my jaw. "And do you know who they test it on?" Yelena asked her carefully as I glanced between them carefully.

"Hmm..." Melina hummed looking down at the table, "No. That's not my department." She said shaking her head and looking at Yelena. "Ah, come on, come on." Alexei said lowly whilst looking at Melina and I looked at Yelena.

Seeing Yelena's eyes tear up and I shook my head, "Don't lie to them. Hmm?" Alexei said softly as I looked at Alexei and Melina, more confused. "I'm not lying." Melina disagreed with Alexei as he continued.

"You're Dreykov's architect, huh?" He said nodding as I looked at Melina, "What were you?" She asked him as they began to bicker, "If I was his architect, you were his-you were his partner." She said loudly as she continued.

"You were his business partner." She said looking down at the table then at him, I looked away from them feeling my eyes water. "No, no, no. I was patsy!" Alexei said banging on the table as I glanced between them.
"Don't give me that..." Melina began whilst shaking her head.

"He sell me ideology." He said banging his hand on the as I sniffed, "Oh, stop with the politics." Melina said shaking her head, I looked at Yelena as she looked at me. I blinked the tears away as I saw them form in her eyes. "All the while, bigger..." Melina began as I looked down at my hands.

"Shut up! You are an idiot." Nat shouted angrily whilst looking at Alexei and he looked at her offended. Nat looked at Melina, "And you're a coward." Nat said as I looked up at them, tears forming once again.

Melina quickly looked up at Nat. "You're a coward." She said as I remained quiet as I looked at the table. "And our family was never real, so there's nothing to hold on to." She said making me look at her hurt as looked away from her, restraining myself from crying.

"We're moving on." Nat said nodding towards Melina, "Never family, huh?" Alexei said looking down at the table, "In my heart, I am simple man." He said gesturing towards his chest and I kept my gaze away from them as Melina looked at me.

"And I think that for a couple deep undercover Russian agents I think we did pretty great as parents, huh?" He said nodding at Nat as I huffed, "Yes, we had our orders, and we played our roles to perfection." Melina said shaking her head at Nat.

"Who cares?" Nat began whilst shaking her head and looking at Alexei, "That wasn't real." She said looking at Melina, "What?" I said softly but sadly as I looked at her almost betrayed.

"That wasn't real." Nat said loudly as Yelena made a face making me almost cry, "Who cares?" She said looking at us, "Don't say that." Yelena said softly, shaking her head towards Nat.

"Please don't say that. It was real." Yelena said looking at her as I sniffed whilst looking at Yelena. "It was real to me." Yelena said loudly and tapping on her chest, "You are my mother." Yelena said almost in tears, gesturing towards Melina.

"You were my real mother." Yelena said as her voice wavered, looking at Melina. "The closest thing we ever had to one." I said looking at Melina and she looked down. "The best part of my life was fake." She cried out loudly as I felt her pain and sorrow.

She exhaled deeply, trying not to cry, "And none of you told me." She said straining her throat from crying as I looked at her as my lip trembled. She banged on the tables softly, "And those agents you chemically subjugated around the globe?" Yelena said looking at Melina.

"That was me." She said gesturing towards herself as Melina looked at her and I looked down at the table. "Mmm." Yelena said nodding whilst looking away from her. "And you two, you got out." She said nodding towards us causing me to look at her.

"Dreykov made sure no one could escape." She explained looking at both of us as I kept my gaze on her. "Are you gonna say anything?" She said softly, shrugging as I looked at her. Nat remained silent beside me as I looked at her, "Yelena, understand that I looked for you!" I said loudly banging my hand on the table.

"Years! Looking for you!" I said looking at her, my voice wavering, "But you stopped." She said as I gape at her and laughed coldly whilst shaking my head. "You wanna know why, little sister?" I asked nodding, getting up and looking down at her as tears began to form.

"Because the widow I killed to get to you told me you were dead." I said coldly as Nat tried to get me to sit down. "Don't touch me." I said shaking her off as I sat back down and Yelena abruptly got up and grabbed the vodka bottle.

She began to walk away from us, "Yelena." Nat called out for her as she walked away, "No." She said as I sighed looking down at my hands. Hearing the doors close and Melina shakes her head, "I had no idea." She said softly.

"It's okay, it's okay." Alexei said nodding towards her, "I'll go talk to her." Alexei said grabbing his helmet and getting up then walked towards the door. He closed the door and I looked at them.

"Well, I'm going to make sure she doesn't kill him." I said nodding as Melina looked at me as I walked away from the table and opened the door. I looked to the side and spotted Yelena on the floor while Alexei sat on the bed.

I sighed, looked down at Yelena, smiling softly, "Scoot over." I said moving my hand and she sighed but complied anyway. I sat down beside her, I grabbed her hand softly and held onto her hand tightly. "I told you, I'll find you." I said softly as Yelena looked at me and gave me a tearful smile.

I placed a kiss on her head as she laid her head on my shoulder. "Yelena, I promise when I tell you that I never stopped looking for you." I said softly whilst shaking my head as she looked at me. "Really?" She asked tearfully as I nodded, "I couldn't think about you being alone all those years, but it was until one of the widows claimed that you were dead." I said shaking my head.

I remembered that night, stabbing the widow right in the right side of her neck. Seeing the smile on her face and the light in her eyes fade away. Remember feeling so overwhelmed by anger and sorrow that I completely disappeared from Nat's radar.

I remember feeling completely alone and had almost taking my life, days after killing the widow. Feeling empty from the 'loss' of my little sister that I had swore to protect. Then I ended up seeing The famous Moon brothers, telling them my situation. They helped me the most than what the Avengers did, I was close to Steve and the others but not as close as I am with the brothers, especially HoJin.

I looked at Alexei as he glanced between us and I looked away. Remembering all of the people I murdered in cold blood because that was the only way I thought I was able to grieve. Causing my ledger to bleed far more than Natasha's and Yelena's.
