"Do you know how I'm doing these days?"

Sasuke wondered around a small village, trying his best to trace you. He felt his body overwhelming with worry, Jūgo told him that you were in a hideout near the outskirts of Konohagakure. He wasn't in the right mindset anymore, he killed his own blood brother. His heart was filled with hatred and sorrow, what more can he offer you now?

Sasuke believed he no longer has love within him, he no longer had any intention to resolve his own problems anymore. He wants to avenge his beloved elder brother, Uchiha Itachi. To Sasuke, Itachi was his world. His heart ached knowing the truth about his brother, how Konoha made him into this so believed monster.

Sasuke was now more clear about what he wanted, he wants to destroy his home village. But he needs to know your whereabouts first. Sasuke knows he can no longer love anymore, he can't continue on like this. He knows that his issues will only cause you harm.

It took him til dawn to find you, hidden in a cave hideout, candles surrounding you. Sasuke eyed every detail of the scene infront of him, of your beautiful silhouette.

He entered the cave and saw that you were cleaning around, he noticed that your chakra presence seemed more lively and stronger. "[Name]."

Your pregnancy wasn't noticeable, your belly was still somewhat flat but overall you just look bloated. You were almost three months into your pregnancy now.  You wore a long, flowy lavender dress along with a cardigan. Those being the only clothes you felt comfortable in. Turning around your eyes widened with excitement to see your loved one, Uchiha Sasuke.

#１７. Ｉ＇ｍ ｙｏｕｒｓ.

Running his direction you jumped into his arms, Sasuke's face stayed emotionless. He felt his heart breaking even more, what is happening?

"I've missed you so much.." you whispered, not letting him go. "Never leave like that again, Uchiha. I don't think I can let go of you.."

Sasuke felt different towards you now though. He felt the need to push you away, he feels that he will hurt you.

Isn't it funny how tables turned?

"Are you okay, [Name]? How have you been?" He asked, letting go of your embrace. Smiling, you kissed his forehead, "I've been feeling better. How are you babe? Is everything okay?"

You're someone I can't have..

He looked down at your smaller figure and held a guilty expression, while caressing your face.

Sasuke noticed your face saddening, "You're not okay.. Are you?" You said, eyebrows furrowed. "Itachi... he's gone, isn't he?"

Sasuke felt his chest pounding, overwhelming with guilt and sorrow. His throat choked up simply by hearing that name. He looked down, and felt a small teardrop falling.

"Sasuke.." you whispered, trying to wipe away his tears but he slapped your hand away.

"I'm fine, [Name]. I just need time." He said, you looked at him surprised. "Don't be like this towards me, Sasuke." You plead.

Ｌｏａｄｉｎｇ ．．． ９５％

You watched Sasuke as he went towards the hideout's futons spread on the floor. Your heart pounded with hurt, you knew instantly that something was wrong. "Uchiha, If you have a problem, let me know please. I want to help you out." You said, loud enough for him to hear you.

"Don't push it, Senju." He snapped.

You clenched your fists, your anger getting the best of you. "What is your problem Sasuke! Don't you see that I'm also hurting?! Don't you see that it's hard for me too!" You yelled.

Silence.

"Have you.. always been this selfish?" Sasuke asked as he laid on the futon. "Do you even know how to love?"

Your eyes widen, is he serious right now?

"Of course I do, Sasuke. I've learned to love everything about you." You confessed, but he gave you a hard eye. Sasuke scoffed at your words, "Seems like you don't know." Was all he said.

"Clearly, you don't know how to love without touch, without seeing. Love is what you feel in your heart. You only learned to love me when you finally saw me again." He said, activating is Sharingan. "I can see everything with my new eyes."

Your eyes widened, "What are you trying to tell me huh?! Of course I love you! Don't say such things." Your beautiful faced began to fill with worry and sadness. "I'll do anything to prove you that! I'll wait years if it means that I will stay with you forever!"

"But please! Don't leave me alone again. For the sake of both of us." You cried out, kneeling infront of him. The Uchiha deactivated his Sharingan, with eyebrows furrowed.

"It's also best if I leave, [Name]. For the sake of both of us."

ｄｉｆｆｅｒｅｎｔ ｐａｔｈｓ.

If I knew how things would go that day, believe me I would've done things differently. I've been told before that one day I will regret my selfish decision.

I regret how selfish and cowardly I was that day.
But you're my happiness, and I can't wait to see you again.
I'll dream a life I can't have.
For the someone I can't have.

"I can't sleep. I can't even eat."

You hugged Sasuke tighter than before, begging him to stay. He explained to you that he is heading towards Konohagakure to destroy the village. The Uchiha truly felt guilt for leaving you behind, but what more can he do for you? Besides cause you pain?

Taking a deep breath, he pushed your arms off his waist, and turned around to face you. "[Name], don't worry about me. Take care of yourself, don't overdo it. Eat three meals a day, and drink water." He said.

Sasuke poked your forehead.

"We will meet again some other time." He softly said, taking you into his embrace. Sasuke ran his fingers through your hair as you cried into his chest. "Don't go, Sasuke. Please. I know what I'm telling you it's for both of us!"

Sasuke pulled you and slightly bent down to your height to kiss your forehead, "Take care of my little one."

Looking up at Sasuke, you frowned, "You knew all along. Then why are you leaving me?!"

"Because, if one of us must die while the other lives on. It's only right if I die and you live." He said, walking away from you. "Remember that I love you."

"As I look at you, Im becoming more ruined, do you know that?"

You watched as Sasuke walked away, his figure slowly fading into a small dot.  His presence becoming the past. You wanted to yell as loud as you can, beg him to stay. He knew all along about your pregnancy, and he still had the audacity to leave you.

How can everything be so overwhelming?

If Sasuke loved you for all those years, without even seeing or hearing you. That must be fate, that must be love. You stared at the night sky, how all the stars shined.

Rubbing your small belly, you let out a small chuckle. "I'll wait for you, Sasuke. Even if that's our fate."
