Old Five started preparing and assembling his sniper gun as the radio just beside him was playing. Old Five finally finished and stood up. "This is my favorite part. The calm before the storm."

You looked over to Five to see him breathing heavily while Luther was playing with his own fingers as they both watched Old Five getting ready. Five's eyes focused on the briefcase just beside Old Five. "Look. The briefcase." He whispered.

"No, don't," Luther warned. "You won't be able to get there in time."

You raised your hand up. "I could grab it."

"No, I can get there in time. Of course, I will." Five insisted. "This is our only chance."

You raised your hands up in defeat. "All right, if you want the hard way then go for it."

"Hey, uh, just remind me... what was the final stage of paradox psychosis again?"

"Homicidal rage." You answered for Five.

Luther smiled. "Right." But his smile suddenly disappeared after realizing what's happening. "That's great." He turned to Five. "Five, listen to me. I..."

Five didn't listen and quietly went after the briefcase before Luther could even say his next sentence. "No. No!" Luther exclaimed quietly.

You just watched and didn't bother to stop Five. Luther faced you. "Aren't you going to do something?"

"I just want to see what happens if Five does get caught and realize he should've listened to us."

The older Five saw Five slowly approaching for the briefcase and him from the lens so he immediately spatial jumped before Five could even reach him.

"Oh, shit." Your eyes widened for a bit.

The older Five immediately pointed his gun right at Five. "Bad idea, shit-heel."

Luther huffed and grabbed the gun out of Old Five's grasp. "Stop it! All right? The both of you. Pull it together. Now, Kennedy is gonna be coming around that corner any minute. Okay? So, everyone, let's just take a deep breath..." Both Fives took a deep breath with Luther. "Now, we're all family here, okay? So can we all just try to get along for a few more minutes?"

Five blinked at Luther before turning to Old-Five. "You want it?"

"Go ahead."

You raised an eyebrow while Luther turned to Five. "What's that?"

Suddenly, Five swung his leg up, hitting Luther's groin. Luther groaned in pain and almost collapsed on the ground. You approached Luther as you fought back your laughter again. "You alright?" You asked worriedly.

Five fixed his blazer with a proud smirk for what he has done. Old Five turned back to his younger self. "Now..."

"Where were we?"

The two fought as if the time was frozen and kept on spatial jumping between fights. You suddenly jumped when you saw two Fives reappeared in Luther and your side. You quickly stepped away as Luther spoke. "Would you pleaseβ€”" Five and Old Five didn't wait for Luther to finish and they both kicked Luther again in unison before spatial jumping again.

Luther tried to ignore the pain and was getting irritated. "Hey! I'm getting really sick of this!"

The two Fives fought again until they both finally reappeared in front of you and Luther just a few feet away. Both were covered in sweat and panting heavily.

"Getting tired yet?" Old Five asked.

"I can do this all day." Five replied.

"Guys, this has to stop." Luther pleaded.

"Eat shit, Ape Man." The two men replied in unison to the poor guy. Luther turned to you, pointing at both of them. "I give up. Your turn."

You sighed and stepped forward. Your eyes glowed red and before the two Fives ran towards each other to fight again, you stretched out your arms and separates them both away from each other. Both Fives were on the ground, groaning in pain.

Luther grabbed the gun from the ground. "Hey! Assholes! I'm done listening to you both. I'm in charge now." Luther pointed the gun to the older-looking Five but Old Five quickly yelled. "Now, Luther! Shoot him!"

"No!" Five protested. "Luther, shoot him!"

"Shoot him!"

"No, Luther, shoot him."

"Luther, shoot him!"

"Luther, shoot him."

"Now, Luther!"

"Hey!" You yelled causing the two Fives to shut up quickly. "Shut up or I'm the one shooting you both! Luther set the gun down."

Luther turned the gun, aiming it to Five instead of pointing it to Old Five or giving it to you. Your eyes widened. "Luther, you listen to me right now."

"Luther..." Five said, his tone was pleading.

"I'm sorry, buddy." Luther was about to hit the trigger but he quickly hit the older Five, knocking him out. You flinched, blinking twice to check what you were seeing was real. You turned to Luther, chuckling while Luther looked at Five. "Now! Open the portal!"

Luther grabbed the briefcase while Five was figuring out how to start or where to start the portal. Five closed his eyes as he used his powers to open the portal. You peeked to see your siblings on the other side of the portal. You even saw yourself there. "Woah..."

You noticed the older Five regaining back his consciousness. You and Five spotted him trying to get the briefcase but Luther pointed the gun at him. "Don't even think about it."

"Into the vortex you go, asshole." Five exclaimed.

"Fine!" Old Five yelled. "But give me the math. So I don't end up looking like Tiger Beat over here."

"You stand next to the vortex and I'll tell ya."

Old Five glanced at the vortex, hesitating a bit but Five yelled. "Go!" Old Five stood near the vortex. "Closer!"

"This is close enough! Now give it to me!"

Five turned you and Luther and you just gave him a nod. Five sighed. "It was a typo."

"Typo?"

"We put the decimal in the wrong spot in our proof of the existence of a bound for the number of limit cycles of planar polynomial vector fields of fixed degree. We wrote down five-point-seven. It should be..."

"Zero-point-five-seven." Two Fives said in unison. "Son of a bitch!" Old Five exclaimed. "I knew that didn't look right."

The older Five looked at the vortex before sighing. "All right... I guess this is it."

"This is it." Five fixed his blazer for the umpteen time and nodded at his older-looking self. "Go."

Suddenly, a flying fire extinguisher came out from the portal, hitting right at Luther's head. You gasped as you checked on Luther who was on the ground then to the vortex. It was Klaus who threw the extinguisher.

Old Five suddenly reached out for the briefcase causing Five to react quickly and the two started pulling the briefcases towards each other.

"Five!" Luther yelled. "It's shrinking!"

Five's eyes widened as he noticed the portal closing. You and Luther stood up and you quickly pulled Old Five away from Five using your powers then Luther kicked him right into the portal.

Old Five screamed but was suddenly cut off when he was sucked in and the portal closed. Luther grinned while you and Five noticed the briefcase split in half.

"We did it!"

"The briefcase, you idiot." Five sighed.

"What?" Luther looked down to see the damaged briefcase. "Hey, you know what? A thank-you for preserving your existence would be nice."

Five muttered some things before realizing the president was about to come. "Luther! (Y/n)! Here he comes!" Five took the other brown briefcase and stepped on it to see what was happening over the fence while you just floated a bit using your powers to see. Luther stood next to you and Five. "He's turning." You whispered.

"Look, there's Dad." Luther pointed at a black-suited man with a black umbrella standing on the grassy knoll. "What do we do?"

"Uh-oh." You gasped. "Diego!"

Five turned his head to see Diego and sighed. "Ah, shit."

You three watched as Diego ran towards the man in black and tackled him to the ground. Suddenly, gunshots were heard causing you to flinch, and leaned into Five as you covered your ears. Diego stood up and you noticed the man wasn't Reginald.

"Oh, Diego..." You sighed.

You entered Elliott's room to find Klaus on the bed. You gently knocked on the door causing Klaus to sat up straight. "Oh, baby sis. Hey."

"You okay?" You asked.

"Really great." Klaus sighed. You sat beside him, looking at him. Klaus looked back at you and held your hand. "So, Ben's gone."

"Like really gone?"

"Yeah."

You sighed heavily, laying your head on Klaus' shoulder. "That's sad. I wish I could've seen him one last time."

"But you can hear his thoughts, yeah?"

"I didn't even know I could do it."

Klaus laid his head on top of yours. "Ben wouldn't shut up about you, do you know that?"

"Really?"

"Really. He was really worried when we thought you were dead. That bastard's probably happy too because he thought he could see you now because I can literally conjure a ghost."

"Did you try conjuring me?" You softly chuckled.

Klaus nodded. "A bunch of times. When it failed a bunch of times, Ben knew you were alive. Didn't have any proof though." He turned to you causing you to look up to him. "You know, Ben said he was glad."

"Glad on what?"

"Glad that you treated him as if he was your real brother. Even if you didn't return his feelings."

"What?"

"Yeah, Ben had a crush on you when you were kids. We were like waiting for a fight between him and Five but that never happened."

You looked down, feeling upset. "I should've at least known."

"Ben knew you like Five so he gave up. Don't worry, he was still happy that you hang out with him even spending time with him until his last moments." Klaus gave you a side hug, smiling softly. "Now don't be sad now. Ben wouldn't like that."

You chuckled, quickly wiping a tear from the corner of your eye. "I won't. I'm glad I get to hear his thought before he was really gone. Come on, let's go downstairs. Everyone's there."

"You go on. I'll catch up."

You nodded and gave Klaus a forehead kiss before leaving the room. You walked down the stairs to see the news that your siblings are watching. You found Five's face on the screen as the news reporter spoke and then it zoomed in to yours too. "The FBI is asking the public to be on the lookout for these unidentified children, who they believe are being held hostage by the suspected terrorist network..."

You almost snorted while Five nodded. "Well, it's true." Five replied as he looked around. "I do feel like I'm being held hostage most days." You stood just behind Five, resting your arm on Five's shoulder while he was crossing his arms.

"God, I hate that photo." Diego muttered.

"They're saying I instigated the riot?" Allison scoffed. "That's unbelievable."

"Look, the good news is that we restored the timeline and we stopped doomsday," Luther replied. "Soβ€”"

"Yeah, a bunch of real goddamn heroes," Diego muttered. "We let Kennedy die."

"Yeah, and now we're officially the most wanted people in the world." Allison pointed out as you heard Klaus finally coming down. "The FBI is after us, the Dallas police, the Secret Service. I mean, it's only a matter of time before they hunt us down here."

"Well, where are we supposed to go?" Vanya asked.

"I have this yurt just outside Reykjavik," Klaus announced. "We could totally lay low there. Folks, there are a little weird, but lovely. Welcomingβ€”"

"Hey, numbnuts." Five called out. "Hiding's not gonna make a difference here. The Commission will hunt us down wherever and whenever we go."

"He's right. They'll never stop." Diego agreed.

Five narrowed his eyes at Diego. "I'm sorry since when are you an expert on the Commission?"

"Since I got back from there."

"What?"

"Yeah, they headhunted me, offered me a job. Full time with benefits, which I had to turn down."

"They headhunted you... the village idiot." Five chuckled earning a nudge from you.

"What, am I not allowed to be headhunted? Only the almighty Five needs to be in demand?"

You, Klaus, and Luther rolled your eyes while Allison sat back down on the stairs as the two men started fighting again. You sat beside Allison as you shook your head at the two men.

"Diego, you're not Commission material, all right?" Five commented. "Got an obstinate nature to ya."

"Who do you think it was that figured out Vanya was the one that causes doomsday and stopped it? Me. That's who."

You looked at Vanya. "Wait, it was you? Again?"

Vanya scratched the back of her head, slowly nodding. "Yeah. Sorry." Luther softly gasped in realization while Klaus glared at Diego. "Hey!" He exclaimed.

"I figured it all out on the Infinite Switchboard." Diego continued.

"You were on the Infinite Switchboard?" Five asked in disbelief.

"Hell, yeah. I made that machine my bitch. Y'all need to recognize I got shit going on y'all don't even know about."

"Oh, sorry," Allison exclaimed. "You've got things going on?"

"This isn't helpful," Luther told Diego.

"Look, I met the RΓ©sistance in their secret lair." Diego continued again. "All right? I went through orientation and I passed and I stopped doomsday."

You noticed Vanya walking out of the room to go upstairs so you followed her. You approached her once you reached the second floor. "You okay?"

Vanya nodded. "Yeah. I just need to call someone." She looked for a telephone but you pointed where it was, helping her. She gave you a quick thanks and took the telephone to dial someone.

"So, uh, did you finally remember?" You asked as Vanya waited for the person to reply to her call. Vanya nodded. "Yeah. Everything. You?"

"I did. Finally opened the fucking red door." You smirked. "Opening the door can reveal you the precious memories and the people who support and loves you."

Vanya smiled at you as she remembered how you were struggling to open the door when you were young and was proud that you finally opened it even if it was just on your mind. Her smile faded when she noticed no one was picking up the phone. "Sissy, why aren't you picking up?" She whispered.

Vanya suddenly winced when she heard Harlan, Sissy's son, shouting. 'Help me!' Vanya heard Harlan's pleas. Vanya quickly set the telephone down as she remembered the day she revived Harlan by giving him CPR.

You placed your hand on her shoulder causing her to flinch. "Is everything alright?"

Vanya shook her head. "No. Harlan. He's, uh, my friend's son. I have to help him."

"Help him?"

Vanya walked downstairs and you followed her as you heard your siblings arguing. As soon as Vanya stepped her foot down on the first floor, she announced that she's leaving. Everyone stopped and Allison stood up. "What? To go where?"

"Sissy's farm. Something's wrong with Harlan, and I need to help him."

"Vanya, we need to stick together, okay?" Luther said. "Now more than ever."

"That's why I'm telling you this. Whatever's going on with Harlan, I think I might've caused it."

"How?" You asked.

Vanya sighed. "He drowned, and, uh, somehow I was able to bring him back to life. And now it's like we're connected."

"Wh... What does that even mean?" Luther questioned.

"I don't know. I can't explain, but... I know he needs my help. I need your help, too. I'm scared. And for the first time in my life, I don't wanna do it alone. I want my family by my side."

Diego approached Vanya, sighing. "Look, I'm sorry. We have other priorities right now."

"Diego's right." You heard Five said causing you to narrow your eyes at him. 'You were just fighting with him, you little gremβ€”'

"For once." Five added. "We need to make our stand here and now." Vanya looked at everyone who avoided their eyes locking at Vanya. Five walked away to avoid the tension.

"Okay." Vanya shakily sighed. "I guess I'll see you when I see you." Vanya walked out of the building and went outside to her car. You quickly followed her and grabbed her hand. "I'm coming with you."

"Wait. Really?" Vanya asked.

"I don't want you to do this alone." You told her. "You're my sister, V. You're a family. We stick together."

Vanya smiled and hugged you. You hugged her back as you smiled. You pulled away and patted her shoulder. "I'll just go grab something then we can go." You quickly went back inside to grab something while Vanya got inside the car to start it.

You quickly went to Elliott's room and looked for something. "Come on, come on, where is it?" You whispered to yourself. Finally, you found Elliott's ring.

"You can have it if you can finally remember. Take it as a souvenir from me."

You looked for a necklace and found a chain necklace. You inserted the ring and made it like a pendant before wearing it. "Thank you, Elliott. Thank you for spending your few moments with me."

You got outside and found the car full of passengers, specifically your siblings. Vanya winced. "I didn't know they were coming with us."

"Great, now where am I suppose to sit?" You pouted as you crossed your arms.

"Oh, you can sit beside Five," Vanya suggested.

"Or you can sit on Five's lap." Klaus suggested as well with a grin earning a small glare from a blushing Five. You were about to protest until you heard another car.

You looked around to spot a familiar car with a familiar driver. He has a cancer stick between his lips, his baseball cap was shadowing his eyes. "You can sit here." He said. "I'll just follow your sister to get to your destination."

You turned to your siblings and they nodded. You gulped before walking towards the other car. Sitting down on the passenger's seat, Vanya started driving and Nico started following. It was a quiet ride. No one talked. No one dared to talk.

The silence was unbearable and you know you have to talk. You opened your mouth to speak but Nico beat you to it. "I understand."

"I still need to apologize. What I did... it was unforgivable."

"You were upset, I get it. I mean, I fucking got upset about my sister's death that I killed the preacher down West Virginia."

You didn't know how to react since you already knew that because he already told you that in 2019. Nico glanced at you. "Elliott meant something to me too, y'know. He was like a father or a brother to me. He was like a family."

"I know." You sighed. "What I did... it was selfish and painful. I really didn't mean to hurt you. I was just blinded by hate, grief, and anger."

Nico suddenly pressed his foot on the breaks as he shakily sighed. His baseball cap didn't let you see what was happening to his eyes but by the sound of him sniffing, you knew he was crying. He looked at you, slightly raising his cap a bit. "You weren't the only one who lost someone, (Y/n). And it pains me to see you in rage and what shocked me is that you blindly throw that rage at me."

"Nico..."

"I know you didn't mean it. But you should understand that what happened to Elliott devastate me. I lose the people I care about every single time. And what happens to you if you ever come back to 2019? How am I supposed to protect you or just take care of you?"

Nico wiped his tears as he leaned his head against his window. This was the first time you saw Nico crying and it
