"Wakey-wakey, little sunshine..."

Your eyes shot open and gasped for air, quickly sitting up. Your eyes frantically looked around as they met familiar figures beside you. Your hands found their way to your arms, rubbing them as you feel coldness surrounding your body.

"It's good to have you back, Miss (Y/n)." The familiar chimpanzee greeted you with a comforting smile.

"P-Pogo..." You managed to say as your teeth chatter in coldness. Grace, your robot mother, wrapped a blanket around you and rubbed your shoulders to add some heat for you. "Wh-What happened?"

"Your father just died..."

The news shocked you until your core that you felt like you couldn't function properly. Pogo and Grace had to help you stand up and bring you to the kitchen so Grace could cook you something while Pogo waits for your siblings to arrive.

You stared into nothingness as Grace prepared you a lunch. Your siblings will probably arrive any minute now and you are nervous as hell.

It's been years since you have seen them and you don't even know if they know that you're alive and well. As far as you know, they think you ran off just like the boy you have been missing for so many years.

The news of your father dying didn't make you feel upset or depressed but you felt too overwhelmed with what's happening. Your father dying and it's his funeral today, your siblings arriving, you waking up with almost no memories of what happened to you.

You woke up on the day your siblings are coming to come to the house for Reginald who just died. Pogo filled you in with what happened in the past few years.

Number One, Luther, Spaceboy, is literally in space for four years. Luther has the power to lift things effortlessly. He's like the Superman in the group because of how strong he is. He's in the Moon doing some research for Reginald and being a good little son he wants to be for their father.

Number Two, Diego, The Kraken, a vigilante in the city. You think of his powers as unique. He turned to a vigilante when he didn't passed the police academy because he was too violent. You weren't even surprised by that.

Number Three, Allison, The Rumor, is a famous actress and a mother to one daughter named Claire that you wished to meet. These three siblings of yours weren't really close to you but you wish to change that once all of you meet again.

Number Four, Klaus, The SΓ©ance, a drug addict and has the power to see the deceased including Ben. When Ben died and you knew about this, you would often pass a message for Ben to Klaus. Klaus and the rest of your siblings are the closest ones to you.

Number Six, Ben, The Horror, is your sadly deceased brother and had a small crush on you years ago. You two were library buddies because you two used to read books together. He didn't really like his powers and you understand that.

Number Seven, Vanya, your ordinary sister, well not to you. You don't think she's ordinary, you know she's special just like the rest of your siblings. Your siblings are smart, well not all of them, but you knew better. Reginald wouldn't adopt an ordinary child with no powers. Vanya is really the closest sibling you have and felt like she's your real sister.

You stood up from your chair and instantly regretted it since your legs felt like jelly. It's been a while since you have walked and stood up but you ignored the pain and turned to Grace. "I-I'll, uh, get some new clothes for me. I-I still feel cold."

"Sure thing, sweetie." Grace replied sweetly.

You carefully walked up the stairs and rubbed your hands together. You found your old room and slowly opened the door. 'Are there even clothes that can fit me? I've been like what, asleep for 10 years? 15 years? I forgot what Pogo said. This 30-year-old body won't fit on any clothes that Iβ€”'

Your own reflection in your mirror made you cut your own sentence off as you gasped loudly. 'WHAT THE FUCK?!'

Walking towards the mirror, you observed yourself and pinched your cheeks to check if you're dreaming. 'Oh my God, this is real. I'm not dreaming. This is real. Oh fuck me.'

Unable to process what's happening, you just decided to change clothes and walked downstairs to confront Pogo and Grace. The only clothes that fit you were your school uniform since you have no other choice, you wore it.

Marching towards the kitchen, you suddenly stopped in your tracks when you saw some of your siblings, mainly Luther, Diego, and Allison. The three turned to you and their eyes were either surprised or confused or maybe just both.

Allison didn't really change for you but she did became more beautiful than ever. She looks like an actress in your eyes and you won't be surprised if she is one.

Diego was wearing all black that you thought he became emo. His outfit was all black and looks like he's ready to fight someone. He looks like a ninja.

Luther changed the most. You have no idea how he got his body like that big. It was as if his body was a bit abnormally big.

"Please tell me I'm not the only one seeing this." Diego gulped.

"Oh my God." Allison gasped.

"It's little Number Eight..." Luther added.

You hold your finger up before they could even speak. "Before you guys say anything else, believe me, I don't remember how the fuck I still have my 15-year-old body."

"And she swears." Diego stifled a laugh, earning a slight punch from Allison which he returned with a small glare at her.

Allison, missing the glare from Diego, walked forward and hugged you. You were unsure why she was hugging you, but you hugged her back, leaning your head on her arm. You were quite small since you're in a 15-year-old body.

"Dad did this?" Allison questioned, pulling away from her hug. You answered her with a shrug. "I-I don't know. I don't remember. But that can be a possibility."

"I-I'll be somewhere upstairs if you guys are gonna find me." Luther excused himself out as he ran upstairs to a room.

"I'll go check on some rooms while you two have fun on your small reunion." Diego informed as he left the room. "(Y/n), nice to see you again by the way!"

"And he didn't even miss me." Allison joked causing you to laugh a bit. That was your first laugh ever since you woke up. You even forgot how your laugh sounds like.

"Come on, let's askβ€”"

"Allison?"

Allison and you turned around to see Vanya just entered the house. Her eyes landed on yours and her eyes widened. "(Y/n)??"

Vanya got prettier in your opinion and she still looks shy. You suddenly have the urge to hug her real tight because you missed her so much. And you didn't even fought the urge. You quickly ran towards her and attacked her with a hug, smiling from ear to ear. "Vanya! It's so good to see you! I missed you!"

Vanya took her a few seconds to process what happened but she hugged you back. "Oh my God, what happened to you, (Y/n)?"

You sighed as you pulled away. "I don't know... I still have to ask Pogo for the full details..."

"Would ya look at that." You and Vanya turned to see Allison walked towards you both. "Everyone was like taking bets on whether you'd show."

Vanya turned to you causing you to put your hands up, saying that you weren't a part of it nor did you know about the bets. Vanya sighed and turned back to Allison. "Did you win?"

Allison gave a small, rueful shrug. "Nah." Then she steps forward to embrace Vanya. It felt like an awkward moment. Neither of them quite ready to make physical contact and you know that.

"I'm glad you're here." Allison smiled as she pulled away from Vanya.

"Least someone is." Diego's voice was heard causing you to frown at his remark. You turned to see him glaring at Vanya and was out of a room he was checking before. "What is she doing here? You don't belong here. Not after what you did."

"Eat shit, Diego. You're seriously gonna do this today?" Allison barked at Diego who gave her a confusing look. "You're seriously gonna defend her? After what she did? "

"You're seriously gonna do this today? At Dad's funeral?"

"Dad knew what she was." Diego looked at you. "We both know, (Y/n), that she shouldn't be here."

You crossed your arms and shook your head. "No, I don't think so. She deserves to be here. She's family."

Diego huffed. "I like it better when you were quiet." He turned away in disgust of Vanya as she stared after him, dismayed.

"Way to dress for the occasion, by the way!" Allison exclaimed.

"At least I'm wearing black." Diego replied back before entering another room upstairs.

"Wakey-wakey, little sunshine!" You groaned and slowly opened your eyes to find Number Four grinning ear-to-ear at you. "The princess is finally up! Time for snacks! Mom made us our favorites!"

Number Four, Klaus, didn't have enough patience for you to change nor fix your head and just straight up dragged you out of bed and pulling you towards the kitchen.

You and your siblings were just 6 years old but your father, Reginald, trained you like you guys are 30 or something.

You sat down beside Klaus as Grace prepared a breakfast for all of you. You turned your head to the side to see Number Six reading his book. Number Six, Ben was the reason why you got interested on reading books. You weren't really a bookworm like Ben but you do love books.

The others have arrived and you watched as they sat down. Number One, Luther, was beside Number Three, Allison. Number Two sat beside Ben, and Number Five was beside Number Seven, Vanya. Five looked at you as you looked at him back, both wondering.

'She's weird.'

'He's weird.'

You and Five would talk but as of this age, you weren't really that close yet.

Your mom placed down your snacks on the table and you saw cookies in front of you. You looked at the others who got excited with their snacks and started eating. You looked at Five who was munching down his first sandwich filled with peanut butter and marshmallows.

You wondered how it tastes like. You're a big fan of marshmallows but it's been a while since you even ate one.

You took your cookies with you and stood up. "I'll be on my room. Thank you mom for the cookies!" Grace nodded and planted a soft kiss on your forehead. "Alright then. I'll get your plate once your done."

You smiled at her before leaving the room and heading upstairs. Five watched as you completely disappeared from sight. Vanya, who has been seeing Five looking at you, nudged him. "If you like her so much, why don't you follow her?" She whispered.

Five furrowed his eyebrows at her. "I don't like her, Vanya. Stop it."

After the small reunion, you joined Vanya exploring the living room in the house. You looked around for some books that Ben read for you when you were kids and finally found them on a shelf. You took a book out from the shelf and opened it, rereading it again as you remembered Ben's voice as he read the book to you.

Vanya found her own book on a shelf: "Extra Ordinary: My Life as Number Seven," by Vanya Hargreeves. The back cover shows an author photo of Vanya herself. "I'll be damned."

You turned away from the book you were holding and saw Vanya holding her own book. Vanya turns to the inscription page of her book, where she finds the letter she wrote to her father:

Dad, I figured... why not? V.

Vanya smiled softly then looked up to see you looking at her. "Have you read the book?"

"Just a bit. Kinda shitty for what you did but what can I do? You already published the damn book."

Vanya's expression fell as she closed the book. "I'm sorry, (Y/n). Iβ€”"

"I forgive you, Vanya. But I don't think our brothers and sister would forgive you that easily."

"Welcome home, Miss Vanya. Hello, Miss (Y/n)."

You and Vanya turned to find a Pogo limping into the room with his cane. Vanya smiled and walked forward to the chimpanzee. "Pogo!"

She knelt down and embraced Pogo. He returned the embrace warmly. "It's so good to see you." Vanya pulled away, beaming. He noticed the book in her hand. "Ah, yes. Your autobiography."

The two talked about Vanya's book while you observed Pogo. The old chimpanzee was keeping something from you and you can feel it. Your gaze on Pogo broke when you saw Vanya looking away from Pogo and spotting a boy's framed portrait. You looked at it as well and you sighed shakily. "Five..." You whispered under your breath.

"How long has it been since Five disappeared?" Vanya asked.

"It's been 16 years, 4 months, 14 days."

Pogo keeping track on how long Five has disappeared came no surprise to you. Instead, the years he has disappeared did make your heart crack a little. You care for all your siblings and definitely were close to them but you were closer to Five and Vanya more than anyone.

Number Five, The Boy, vanished after a small argument years ago with your father. You tried to stop him but you couldn't. A part of you blames yourself for not forcing Five back inside the Academy. His powers are spatial jump and time travel which he is still new to do but ignored their father's warnings and time traveled anyway.

"Your father insisted I keep track." Pogo added.

"You wanna know something stupid?" You suddenly spoke, causing Pogo and Vanya to look at you. "We always used to leave the lights on at night... for him." You started remembering the past with Vanya. "In case he ever comes back. It would be late and the house would be dark and he wouldn't be able to find us, so he'd leave again."

"You didn't want him to be scared." Vanya added, smiling sadly at you. "Every night, you'd always make a little snack and I help you then make sure all the lights were on."

"Oh, I remember your snacks." Pogo smiled at both of you. "I'm pretty sure I stepped in half those peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches."

"They were (Y/n) and Five's favorite sandwiches." Vanya chuckled softly. "They would even fight about who gets the last sandwich."

"The last time we ate those sandwiches together was the day before he disappeared..." You sighed sadly. "I should've just gave him the last sandwich. He got pretty mad and didn't talk to me for the rest of the day... even the day after..."

"Your father always believed that Number Five was still out there somewhere. He never lost hope."

You scoffed and turned to Pogo. "And look where it got him." You wanted to ask him already about what happened to you but instead walked away, finding your other brother who's one of your favorite people in the world.

°‒○●○‒°

You munched down your last cookie quietly until you stopped when you heard a knock on your door. Your door was opened already so you looked up to see Five standing beside the door with a sandwich in his hand. "Hi."

You looked down, too shy and scared to talk. Five entered the room and sat down beside you on your bed as he looked at your room. "Your room is nice. Your favorite color is (f/c), right?"

You silently nodded in response. Five looked down at his sandwich before giving it to you. You looked down at the sandwich and turned to him with a puzzled look. "You keep on staring at my sandwich. Here. Have one."

You pressed your lips together, conflicted whether to take the sandwich or not. Five, seeing your hesitation, gave you a small smile. "It's delicious, don't worry. You'll like it."

You shyly took the sandwich from him and took a small bite. Five saw how your expression changed and almost as if your pupils turned stars, in realization how the sandwich tasted like.

"I told you it was delicious." Five grinned.

You smiled back at him. "Thank you, Five."

"You're always welcome."

This chapter was made on September 23 and decided to publish the book on October 12. October 12 is my birthday and this is a gift to you guys! I'm actually not sure if you guys are still reading TUA stories ehehe...

I found the stories here in Wattpad a bit similar, you know with some stories starting at how the episode 1 of the series did too (on the 12th hour of the first of October 1989...) so I kinda changed it a little on my book.

Now with the flashbacks, I won't be showing all of the flashbacks from the series since most of you already know about it. Maybe some I can put but most of the time, I'll be putting the flashbacks that I came up with instead of writing the flashbacks from the series. I hope it's fine with you guys.

Anyway, I hope you liked chapter one!
