- CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED-SEVEN -

🏹 Trip Down Memory Lane 🏹

Amara carried Scott into some room that Allison apparently was using as her little hide out stop at the Lacrosse stadium. Allison followed behind them as Amara gently lowered Scott on the ground, before sitting down next to him, leaning her head back and closing her eyes.

Allison stood a few feet away, watching them for a moment. "Amara and Scott." Allison whispered before her mother suddenly appeared behind her but Amara wasn't paying attention.

"Two attractive Alphas. History is replete with handsome and beautiful killers. They're still killers." Victoria said and Allison turned her head towards her slightly, "What am I even doing here?" Allison asked, making Amara look at her. "This- this can't be the right thing to do." Allison said and Amara could tell Allison wasn't talking to her, but at the same time, she clearly wasn't talking to herself.

"Don't get lost in useless moral quandaries, Allison. Stick to the plan. Your father is on his way here right now." Victoria said and Allison looked away from Amara and Scott. "I saw him at the hospital. That was him." Allison whispered and Amara looked at her confused before she glanced around the room, trying to figure who Allison was talking to.

"No, he's on his way and he's bringing Peter Hale, Amara's father. You remember what that monster did to Kate? He ripped her throat out with his claws." Victoria said, her voice changing with each word until it was no longer Victoria standing there, it was the Nogitsune. "He'll do the same to you if he gets the chance." The Nogitsune said, his voice and appearance going back and forth between the bandaged body of Corporal Rhys and Victoria Argent.

"Don't you remember how they burned us? We lost years. Can't you feel that life stolen from you?" The Nogitsune said, "I don't know what I feel!" Allison yelled as she slowly turned in circles. Amara watched Allison with a worried look. She knew that the Nogitsune had gotten into Allison's head so she had an idea on what was going on with Allison but she didn't want to say anything just yet.

"A few more hours and the sun goes down. We'll take care of everything then. They come out at night." The Nogitsune/Victoria Argent said, "Who?" Allison asked. "The Oni. And with them comes chaos." The Nogitsune whispered, "You know, if you're gonna manipulate another person I care about, the least you could do is not be a coward and show yourself." Amara said, making Allison spin around to look at her.

"It's The Nogitsune, isn't. That's who you're talking to. Let me guess, he's tricking you by using the image of your mom to get in your head." Amara said, in a tired voice. Allison just looked at her for a moment before walking over to a stack of pallets, taking off her jacket and sitting down.

A few minutes later, Scott slowly woke up and noticed Allison sitting across from him, making him glance around to see Amara sitting next to him. "Welcome back, sleeping beauty." Amara said in a tired voice and Scott groaned before lifting his shirt up to reveal his wound. It was caked in dark blood and black veins trailing throughout his torso from the wounds.

Scott looked back over at Amara, who looked exhausted, a thin layer of sweat on her face. She lifted her shirt up to find black veins trailing throughout her torso from a red mark. "If we don't come up with a way to get this wolfsbane out soon, we're both going to die." Scott said, looking over at Allison, "We need to find Liam and Ximena." Scott said and Allison raised her eyebrows. "Your beta?" Allison asked, "Liam is his beta, Ximena is mine. But more importantly, they're our friends." Amara said, making Allison look at her.

"Ximena, Liam and Hikari." Amara said, "She's a Kitsune. That's why the arrow didn't do anything to her." Allison said and Scott nodded. "Because of the fox. It protects her, like armor." Scott said, "It won't protect her from the Oni." Allison said and Amara sighed softly.

"Nothing protected you either." She said, making Allison look at her and sit up slightly. "What do you mean?" She asked, "You died in my arms." Amara said, making Allison take a deep breath, shaking her head slightly.

"You told me that you loved me for the first time and I didn't get the chance to say it back to you while you were alive. And if you let me, I can prove it to you." Amara said and Allison shook her head, "You're lying." She said. "I stopped lying and keeping secrets from you after your mom died. Just give me a chance. If you still don't believe me, fine. You kill the both of us. You can let the wolfsbane finish off Scott and I'll fall into a coma, leaving me completely vulnerable to kill." Amara said and Allison leaned forward slightly.

"And what if I do?" Allison asked and Amara raised her eyebrows, "Then you're gonna have to help me save him." Amara said and Allison glanced back and forth between the two of them.

"Allison, listen... I can't die, okay. Neither can Scott. I can't do that to Ximena, she's just a kid and Scott and I are all she has." Amara said and Allison furrowed her brows, "What do you mean by that?" She asked and Amara sighed. "She's a fifteen-year-old kid who has been running from foster homes since she was twelve... Five months ago I was hired by someone to watch her neighbor because she thought he was abusing someone..." Amara trailed off.

"He was an alpha and foster father, who I caught nearly beating Ximena to death while she was human... I... I ran in to stop and one thing led to another and I killed him... Then I bit Ximena to save her life because I didn't have enough time to get her to a hospital. She's lived with Scott and I ever since, him, me and our families are all she has." Amara said and Allison just looked at her for a moment.

Amara started moving her hand to her pocket, making Allison immediately alert and start to grab her bow. "Just... hold on. Please." Amara said tiredly, holding her hand up for a moment before pulling her wallet out.

Amara slid her wallet over to Allison and it hit her boot before we picked it up. "Behind my license." Amara said as Allison opened the wallet, pausing for a moment before she pulled out a small strip of two pictures. One of the pictures of Allison looking a little annoyed while Amara was looking at her with a smile. The other picture was of Allison kissing Amara's cheek.

"It was at the ice rink." Amara said as Allison looked at the pictures of the two of them in a photobooth, "The other pictures didn't come out right because of my eyes so I tore those off for you. After you died, your father gave that to me." Amara said and Allison closed her eyes and furrowed her brows slightly. "Lydia was there." She said and Scott nodded, "And Stiles and I." He said.

"We almost kissed for the first time after taking those photos." Amara said, making Allison look at her for a moment. "Remember the winter formal?" Scott asked and Allison thought for a moment, "I went with my friends, Jackson and Lydia..." She said, trailing off a little.

"You went with me." Amara said in a slight whisper, making Allison look at her. "Scott was there. He found you inside, and you guys danced and he tried to tell you that he loved you and you rejected him because you were secretly starting to get feelings for me." Amara said and Allison threw his wallet on the pallets next to her, "I don't remember any of that." She said.

"A few weeks later, you and I kissed for the first time... We were in a car, keeping watch on a friend. I had told you that I didn't want to date anyone and bring them into the world of supernatural. Then you say what about someone who already is, like you before kissing me." Amara said and Allison stared at her for a moment.

"Tell me the rest." She said and Amara shook her head, "There's not enough time because Scott is going to die if you don't help me help him." Amara said and Allison looked at her. "What do I have to do?" She asked. "You need to get something with fire. Wolfsbane only responds to fire. I gotta burn it out, I'd use my magic but I don't think I'm strong enough to." Amara said.

Allison stared at her for a moment before getting up and looking for something. Amara took a deep breath before sitting up slightly, moving to face Scott before lightly hitting his face to make him wake up more. "Hey." She said in a slight whisper, "You look like pure shit right now." She said, making him chuckle lightly before groaning.

Allison walked over and crouched down in front of Scott and Amara, holding a flare, making Scott's eyes widen slightly. "Woah, uh... you couldn't find a lighter?" He asked, making Amara raise her eyebrows, "I don't think you're in the position to complain about how she's gonna save both of our lives." She asked. Scott sighed and shook his head slightly, "Burn it out." He said.

Allison looked over at Amara as Scott groaned slightly as he lifted his shirt up to reveal his wound. Amara nodded slightly, preparing herself to feel Scott's pain before Allison ignited the flare, staring at the flare for a moment.

Allison glanced at Amara again before looking at Scott and putting the flame of the flare against his wound. Scott groaned before roaring out in pain as his eyes turned a vibrant red as Amara groaned in pain, her eyes also glowing a scarlet red.
