Y/n's pov
I was woken by the sounds of some guy yelling and some stupid game show music. I quickly went downstairs to see balloons and cameras and a banner with a giant check looking thing.
"We're rich! I'm going to get a butler!" Dipper smiled.
I thought butlers were just a legend..?
"I'm going to buy a talking horse!" Mabel added, her hands wailing up in the air.
"And I'm going to by earmuffs." I snorted at them whilst walking through the doorway.
"Just sign here for the money." The man smiled, handing Stan a pen.
Ok this is cool and all but all of this is basically screaming suspicious.
"You bet!" Stan took the pen and scribbled on the paper.
Gideon came crashing though the check. "Ha! Stanford you fool. You just signed over the Mystery Shack to wittle ol' me!" Then he did some stupid cocky dance and started celebrating.
I narrowed my eyes at him, trying not to smack him.
Stan paused, no sign of fear striking his face. "Uh, you might wanna take another look there."
I peeked over at the check to see what Stan really wrote but Gideon started reading it aloud. "The Shack is hear by signed over to...suck a lemon little man?!"
Grunkle Stan started dying of laughter and I joined him because Gideon reminded me of a lemon because of his face and his personality. Round and sour.
"How dare you!" Gideon screeched, point at Stan.
Mabel and Dipper joined in on the laughter.
Gideon continued, "I am not a threat to be taken lightly! I'll get you Stanford Pines. I'll get you all!"
You do that lemon.
I gasped for air. "I highly doubt that." This whole situation cracks me up.
We all acted like nothing happened and went to watch tv, the normal morning.
β’β’β’
I was stuck watching Mabel and Dipper play a boring game of chess and Mabel kept stealing the pieces from the board and stuff them in her sweater. In the end Dipper won and added a tally mark to his score score of winning against Mabel. I've seen it once or twice and I have to say I'm impressed although I'm pretty sure I'd crush him in whatever he would have in store for me.
What? I'm not competitive you are.
After finishing my conversation with myself I heard Dipper complaining how he isn't shorter than Mabel but we all knew it was true.
"Yep she's got exactly one millimeter on you." Soos said with a nod, tucking away the tape measurer.
This isn't going away all day is it? I went back over to the tv to watch (fav show) and pulled out my phone.
Why don't we see what Lucas is doing. Maybe he can hang- wait he's at vacation.
Maybe Candy and Grenda- no they're too creepy for me.
Maybe I can try to find cool things for me and Dip to do when we have free time and make new friends because I have no one else to talk to.
I looked over to check on the short Dipper situation and was basically drawn over to them at the sound of hearing a pun about it. These people have been spending too much time with me.
As I reached the huddle of people I saw Dipper storm away into his room and I followed him knowing he wanted to lay off some steam and who better than me to help him?
When I closed the door behind me I saw Dipper pacing back and forth mumbling. "Stupid Mabel. I'm not short." He tried reaching for his journal which was sitting at the top of his shelf but couldn't reach it.
I'm shorter than him so should I be even more hurt by this or? He kicked the shelf and the book fell and he grabbed it.
Dipper may not be the tallest, but he definitely is one of the smartest's. Probably the smartest person I know.
"There's gotta be someway to get taller. Let's see..." He started flipping through the pages with a determined face.
"Dip are you sure this is a good idea? I mean, you could get hurt. Being taller really isn't that important. I'm shorter than both of you anyway."
He started mumbling something I couldn't understand under his breath, I just sighed and sat on my bed waiting for him to realize I was in the same room as him. He never noticed and ran out the door. Whatever.
I decided to go into town to find places to hang and maybe meet people and more importantly, food.
β’β’β’
As I was enjoying life and walking through town with my earbuds in, I realized I was the only one out on the streets.
All of a sudden I was met with a rag over my mouth and nose, not leaving any room for a single heap of breath. Seconds after, my vision blurred and I was put under tranquility.
β’β’β’
I woke up to Dipper. He was shaking me with a worried expression on his face. Then I realized that Mabel was also there and we were in a jar.
I groaned, "Why are we in a jar? Am I imagining things again?" Dipper hugged me as I was still laying down but then everything started shaking and we were sent tumbling to the ground out of the jar.
"You three." I looked up and saw Gideon...giant Gideon, looking down at us with a scowl set on his face. Why is he so big and why are we so small.
Am I dreaming? I pinched myself in hopes of waking up in my comfy bed but it didn't come true. I sat up and gave him a stern look. "What are you going to do with us?"
He then laughed and petted my head. "Oh N/n I wouldn't hurt a hair on your pretty little head... if you agree to be my queen."
Not in a million years bud.
"Don't touch her!" Dipper then stood up and shoved his finger off of my head. I mouthed a 'Thank you' and looked at Gideon worriedly. He could squash all of us right now. What was his motive with us?
"Never." I don't want Gideon doing something to Dipper so I answered his petty question in hopes he would forget about what Dipper said to him.
"Maybe you'll change your mind after... this!" He then sug into the drawer and held me up by my shirt, dragging me over to a cage with a hamster in it.
"Put her down!"
Gideon just ignored Dippers remark, again, and locked me in.
"As for you boy...tell me! How did you come by this magic item! Did someone tell you about it? Did you read about it?"
The journal... how did he?
"Lean closer and I'll tell you." I then saw the air horn sitting right beside Dipper.
Gideon giddily smiled in triumph while leaning towards Dipper. "Well don't mind if I-"
Dipper then pressed the button using two hands and made the funniest most adorable face and I couldn't help but laugh at how idiotic Gideon is. He then turned his back towards us, taking a few deep breathes then turned back towards us and back handed his light bulb and screamed at Dipper.
"I could squash you right now!" He held up his fist, his emotions getting the better of him. He then put his fist down and calmly said, "Calm yourself Gideon. You could use them."
There was the motive.
He then jogged to the other side of the room and got on the phone. It was Grunkle Stan. I could barely hear the conversation except for when he would scream every now and then.
"Hey you ok?" I looked to who asked and it was Mabel. She found some gummy koalas and started gnawing at them.
"I'm trapped in a cage with a hamster. I couldn't be better."
"Want a gummy koala?" She asked, the gooey substance sticking around her lips.
Before I could answer, Gideon's loud laughing was echoing through the room, it gave me shivers. "What am I doing!? I don't need ransom! I have this!" He then held up a flashlight with a crystal on it.
Uh, what's that?
Gideon continued, "I will shrink Stan and take the Shack for myself! And you'll be helpless to stop me. And if you step out of line..." he then held up wooden figure of Dipper, Mabel, and Stan and crashed their heads off. "Smash!" He threw the heads in front of us, making the twins take a cautious step backwards.
Gideon started evilly laughing again but was interrupted by his dad who told him about an ice cream truck. He took the flash light and walked out of the room unlocking my cage and using the hamster, who hadn't moved at all, as guard dog.
When he left I mimicked what he did to unlock the cage and joined Dipper and Mabel.
"We got to get out of here." Dipper said, climbing out.
"No kidding."
"I know! I will eat you later." Mabel mumbled to her gummy koala, tucking the head into her sweater pocket and we tried to come up with a way of escape.
"We need a rope or something." I added.
"I have a plan." I turned to see Dipper mischievously smiling, holding up his finger.
β’β’β’
"No way am I touching his hair." I said with a disgusted face, staring at the 'rope.'
We made a hair rope from Gideon's hair brush.
"You have to." Then Dipper and Mabel started climbing to the bottom. I followed and once I was close to the ground I jumped and fell onto my butt. I was getting to impatient and was tired of touching that hair.
We ran down the stairs and out the doggie door and into the parking lot. We looked around for some kind of transportation.
"Look up there!"
A balloon.
β’β’β’
We reached the Shack and were resting at the totem pole thinking of what to do next. Then I realized that there was a string from here connected to the Shack, we could use it to get across.
"The string."
They turned to see what I was talking about and Dipper gave me a thumbs up, we slid down it and landed on the roof and Gideon came walking to the door and I panicked but it was a good thing Mabel still had that gummy koala in her sweater because it got stuck in his hair and he dropped the flashlight.
Perfect.
We slid down the pole and Mabel jumped on the flashlight while I stood next to Dipper.
"Wait, your going to grow us back to equal heights right?" Dipper asked cautiously, taking the giant flashlight.
Not this again. Not now.
"Dipper this doesn't matter right now." Mabel
"Well if it doesn't matter then why don't you just do it." Dipper then held out his arms and waited to be hit.
"Uhh! Why are you acting so weird? Why can't you just accept that I'm a little bit taller than you?"
Dippers eyes widened. "Oh I'm acting weird? Your the one who keeps calling me names and stuff."
I held out my arms to talk. "Now is really not the ti-"
Mabel ignored me though. "Oh you mean like little-"
"Don't say it." Dipper challenged, pointing a finger at Mabel.
Instead of being cut off by Mabel he was cut off by Gideon. "Little Dipper"
We all froze and I face palmed while walking in between the twins and faced Gideon.
"Screw you." I crossed my arms and starred up at him.
He grabbed Mabel and Dipper, still tiny and began to talk. "I dare say you would have defeated me, if it wasn't for your sibling bickering." He then picked me up with his other hand and said, "As for you dear. You get a front row seat of the fall of the Mystery Shack."
After, he put Mabel and Dipper in his pocket and held me in his hand and the flashlight in the other while kicking down the door.
"The Shack is mine Stanford Pines!" He then shone the light on Grunkle Stan and I yelled after him. His hat sheunk and Gideon walked over to pick him up but when he lifted the hat it was Soos.
"Soos!" I yelled, my eyes widening.
He waved. "Hey dude! Something seems different than usual..."
He then put Soos, Mabel, and Dipper in a jar and swished them around.
"Stop! Your hurting them!" I helplessly yelled, wiggling around in Gideon's sweaty grip.
I hate being helpless, especially towards this lemon.
"Do you want to join them?" Gideon's high voice squeaked, bringing me up to his face.
"It'd be better then being here with you. So, yes."
"Too bad." Then he started questioning Soos where Grunkle Stan actually was and he told him.
Why did he do that? Someone punch him.
"Stanford! I'm coming for ya!" Gideon yelled, starting off into the shack more.
We arrived in the room to see it was full of mirrors and Grunkle Stan could be seen in everyone of them.
"Stanford!" Gideon yelled, eyeing the mirrors.
I've seen so many scenes with mirror mazes that I already knew how this would pan out.
"Oh hi Gideon! I've been looking for someone to try out my new mirror maze. Then again... your an idiot. That's the end of the sentence." Stan laughed at Gideon before disappearing from the mirrors.
I don't think he saw me in Gideon's hand being squished, it wasn't a good feeling.
"You get back here!" Gideon walked into the mirrors, looking for Grunkle Stan.
He rested me in his shoulder which I had to hold on to dear life so I didn't fall and every now and then I'd loose the grip on one of my hands. I tried getting to the pocket but I knew I would either miss or Gideon would have held me in his hand again which I couldn't take anymore of that so there I was, holding on to dear life on someone's shoulder.
Then I saw three heads stick out from his pocket.
"There it is!" I looked to see Dipper pointing to the flashlight. I closed my eyes and hoped they would see me.
"I'll go get Y/n, you get the flashlight." Dipper whispered to Mabel, climbing to my direction.
Please hurry Dip. I kept my eyes closed and high fived myself once again.
Once I was retrieved and Soos was whacked off of Gideon's head there stood one of Stans reflections. Gideon took out the flashlight which was in our grasp and shot a light beam at Grunkle Stan but fell to the ground but got back up and threw the flashlight at the mirror, which broke.
Gideon started breaking every mirror he passed. Then the real Grunkle Stan came out and Gideon pointed the flashlight at him and just as he was about to hit Stan with the light, we tickled his armpits which made him go crazy. He fell to ground and after a good minute he was kicked out of the house, dropping the flashlight and the three of us jumping off and running to the flashlight.
"After you." I motioned for Dipper to go but he already had the switch at the ready, pointing in my direction.
"No it's ok if you go first." Dipper then made me grow to my normal size and then grew Mabel, who grew Dipper. Mabel was still taller though.
"You let me grow an extra millimeter." Mabel said, hiding her excitement as her eyes trailed up to Dippers.
"You earned it." He genuinely smiled at her.
"Aw thanks, little brother."
"Cute." I said sarcastically, joining their sides as Mabel poked my side. I took the flashlight from Dippers grip and held it in front of my face examining it. "Time to put this freaky magic shit to rest."
I ripped the taped crystal from the flashlight and threw it on the ground, the fragile object breaking immediately.
Mabel stepped on it screaming "DIE!"
"There you dudes are! I've been trying to get your attention all night!" A voice said from below me, causing me to jerk back.
Soos.

I thought it would be a great night to sleep outside again because it wasn't supposed to rain and it's been a couple of days since I last came up here with Dipper.
I heard the trapdoor open and I didn't even have to look to see who it was because I already knew it was him. This is like our spot now because Wendy doesn't hang out here anymore.
"Hey N/n."
I smiled at Dipper who sat next to me while we dangled our feet off of the roof.
"Is this were you like to go now? Because if you come here I think I'll come too, it's not too bad." He smiled out over the view of the dark forest.
"Yeah. Speaking of which, before I was knocked out by Gideon I was looking through town and found some cool places to go to." I started, starring at my feet.
"Oh you actually meant what you said when you wanted to hang out." He said, shock lacing his words.
"Obviously. Your fun to be around." I then playfully punched him in the shoulder and he laughed.
That laugh, it's so raspy I wanna jump off this roof now.
"What kind of places?" He asked, interested at what I had came up with.
"A skating rank, movies, parks, trails in the woods, stuff like that."
"Anywhere have good pancakes?"
"Of course you would ask about food." I teased.
He glanced at me. "Har. Har."
I continued, "To answer your question...yes. I got some and I think they were the best things I've ever tasted." I had his attention now. I never actually had them I just made it up for conversation.
"Great, because I wanted pancakes tomorrow and I don't think I can handle any more Stancakes." Dipper admitted, a light chuckle escaping his closed lips.
"Your gonna have to start an earthquake to wake me up, I'm never up in time."
"Than it's a good thing we're sleeping out here tonight." Dipper said with a small, shy smile.
"Ya know what else I found?" I asked, changing the subject.
"What?"
"Girls your age." I teased. "Names and numbers. The whole deal."
He looked at me surprised and I winked at him. "W-What do you mean?" He stammered out, his eyebrows nitting together."
I laughed. "Oh y'know, I made some new friends and they just so happen to be girls around our age." I smirked and he blushed.
"I care about this, why?" Dipper asked, trying to hint that he didn't care, when in fact he absolutely cared and was practically begging me to tell him everything about these new girls. He's just being his modest self.
"Because you need someone your age. I can help if yo-"
"No I don't. I like you and I don't need anyone else."
I don't know which way I should interpret that but I think I might hyperventilate.
"Alright then." I said putting my hands up as an 'I surrender' kind of thing. "Not even one of them?" I pushed, smiling in his face.
"No."
"Your not like other guys." I said unexpectedly, leaning back and starring out over the roof again.
"What does that mean?" He then looked at me curiously which reminded me of a lost puppy.
"When I told Lucas he flipped and asked for all of their numbers, but you don't even want one." I closed my eyes and started laughing which Dipper didn't join in on. Curiously I looked at him to see why he wasn't laughing and he was smiling at me.
Was it my laugh? I know it sounds like a seal but I swear it's normally not like this.
"What?" I asked and smiled at him back. He shook his head and put his arm around my shoulder. "Thanks for being there for me." He started. "I'm always here for you. You know that right?"
I looked up at him, still being shorter and responded tiredly. "Always?" I laid back and brought him down with me, still having his arm hooked around my shoulder.
"Always..." He looked away from me for a second before smiling and finding my gaze again. "Your adorable when you're tiny. Just thought you should know."
I started laughing, still feeling the force of his eyes trailed on me. I fixed myself in his hold and inhaled a big breath, finally feeling peaceful.
Out of the comfortable silence, I opened my eyes and looked up at Dipper's closed eyes. "You smell really good."
Still with his eyes closed, he started tiredly chuckling, his chest rising and falling with every shortened breath.
"Goodnight, N/n." He then tugged the blanket over us and we fell asleep, me still laying in his arm with my head on his ches
