You're in class, paying close attention until..

"Oi! Will you quit staring?" You hear Ena shout at you. Drawing everyone's attention to you both, including the teacher. "O-oh..! I'm sorry Ena.." I say fully embarrassed.

"L/n. Shinonome. Stop the talking back there. I'm trying to teach the children who ACTUALLY want to learn." the teacher says while turning around to face you both.

"Sorry Ma'am.." You and Ena mutter at the same time.

'I was looking at Ena again..I have to learn how to stop doing that..'
You let out a small sigh as you think to yourself.

'I can't help it though..I'll have to tell her some day even though it's obvious by now..basically the whole school can tell I like her'  I thought to myself but my thought were interrupted by Ena waving her hand in front of my face.

"L/n. Everyone already left us, we have to go or you'll make me late!" Ena stated rather loudly, while lowering her hand and walking  towards the door.

You jumped up out of the seat you were in and hesitantly shouted, "W-wait Ena..!"

As you run in front of her and block her way, "What is it now L/n?! We are gonna be late!" Ena shouted, making you a bit more nervous than before.

'Come on Y/n! This is your chance!!' the voice in your head cheered.

"Ah uhm..It's uh n-nothing!" You said sheepishly. 'God damn it Y/n..you blew your chance.' the voice sighed.

"L/n, I'm not dumb. What is it. You..you look, nervous." Ena said as she placed both her hands on her hips.

"I..I have important to say. I hope this won't..ruin our friendship in anyway, but..I like you Ena.." you say as you look away from her. 'I finally did it. I guess I can prepare to get rejected and cry myself to sleep tonight..' you thought to yourself.

Ena looked at you silently. She then lowered her head and mumbled, "I like you too Y/n.."

I'm studying for exams rn but I decided to upload this cause why not? ☺️

( I've ran out of one shots to post for when I'm actually going to start doing exams..which is starting next week Tuesday ☹️ but I'll think of something 💪😋 )

Alsooo I'm almost done the surprise so I might post that during the time of my exams so keep a look out for it !
