As the night continued, people got more drunk and Ada was set free. She had spent more time with Esmeralda than she had with her own husband. They say there drinking and talking, Ada waltzed over giggling "come have a dance with your sister in law" Georgie giggled.

"Why not, eh?" She said, standing up. She took a swig of her whiskey bottle. She was lost in a pool of freedom, she spun round with Ada giggling. She could see tommy in the corner talking to a woman with short , dark brown hair before going off with her.

She grew suspicious, she stopped spinning with Ada and briefly told her she'd be back. Ada danced with georgie's uncle. She walked to the direction Tommy went in. She could hear muttering, "I don't wanna do this anymore Lizzie" tommy said in a hushed voice

The dark haired woman looked as if she could cry "b-but you told me this was real.. you can't leave now.. the girl looks barely 18" she pleaded. She grabbed onto her husbands arms, "you can't just leave Tommy!" The woman cried out. He ripped his arms off her, "I'm going back to my wedding"

Hearing that Georgie shot off, to be greeted by Tommys brothers. "Don't worry about her, she's in the past love." The older one she found out was called Arthur smiled drunkenly at her. The other brother called John nodded. Ada pushed them away "come on let's dance again" Georgie just nodded.

Ada wouldn't slow down and Georgie couldn't keep up. Ada's aunt Polly came over telling Ada to slow down, Ada just ignored her. At this point Georgie was starting to feel sick, she couldn't see straight. She left Ada to sit with her mother, molly.

Georgie had barely spoken to Tommy, only exchanging words at the wedding ceremony. She could see Polly telling tommy to stop Ada. Tommy walked up quietly tell her to calm down. Arthur had already tried but failed, Ada's expression suddenly changed towards tommy.

"Come on Georgie, come an look at the family you've joined. Come and look at the man who runs it! Choose his and his brothers wives for them! Hunts his own sister down like a rat! And he tries to kill his own brother in law! And now he won't even let me have a fucking dance." Ada hit her brother.

Georgie and her mother got up. They started going closer. "Not even at a fucking wedding!" Ada finished. Ads clung on to Polly, she looked like she was hyperventilating. "Calm down ada, calm down" Polly and Georgie repeated. Suddenly, there was a splash. "Holy shit, water" molly said.

Ada had gone into labour.. Arthur was muttering about how Ada did pick her times. Georgie wasn't really bothered though, she was to drunk to think. John drove the car, Ada was groaning. The all got out of the car, Georgie had the help of Arthur. Two bottles of whiskey in her hands, she giggled as she walked inside.

Polly stayed behind and talked to Tommy while Georgie rushed Ada in her house. The baby was to be born, Ada pushed but it wasn't working. That's when Georgie butted in, "I think the baby's the wrong way round." She dried Ada's forehead.

Polly turned ada on her hands and knees, Ada cried out in pain as she pushed. Finally the crys were heard, Polly passed the baby to Ada. "It's a boy" she smiled. A moment later there was knocks on the door, Georgie went to answer. There was a man, he told her he was here to see Ada.

She let him in following close behind but stopping at the doorway. "It's a boy" Ada said as they had there moment. Georgie found out off Polly that he was the baby's father and Ada's husband, Freddie Thorne. Only moments after 3 bangs on the door, it frightened most people in the room.

"Police!" 3 more bangs and the door came off. The baby screamed, Georgie shouted trying to hold them back. "You can't come in here there's a baby just been born!" Before she was rammed against a wall. She could hear Ada's sobs as the slammed Freddie against the wall.

Polly comforted her niece before telling molly and Georgie to stay here with Ada and the baby. She knew who Polly was going to see, Thomas.
She didn't know why he'd do such a thing but if Polly thought it, she was probably right. She told her mum to stay here as she followed Polly.

Polly walked side by side with her, anger and sorrow flowing through her. She couldn't help but feel bad for Ada, she understood why Polly would be angry. Polly pushed open the garrison door to see Tommy and a blonde barmaid eying each other up. Polly shouted and when for tommy before John and Arthur stopped her.

Polly walked out, before Georgie left she spoke. "To your own sister Thomas, to your own blood" she walked out. When she got back her mother was outside Ada's house, she said Ada told her to leave and she was waiting to get picked up by  georgie's dad.

She followed Polly home, getting in bed. She didn't understand why Tommy would do such a thing. Polly tried to get Ada to answer, Ada would only let Georgie in. Georgie would go every day to look after the baby, Karl, while Ada slept and then she'd leave.

She hadn't spoken to Tommy since their wedding, they'd sleep in the same bed, they'd wake up in the same house but neither one would talk to each other. She saw Mickey in the stalls of the market, selling shite. She'd tell him everything but there was nothing he could do.

She would go into town when she was bored, it was fully of people who knew her but she didn't know them. They knew her as Tommys girl, she knew them as the people of Birmingham. She just hoped everyone would make up. She couldn't have an unhappy family.

Ada was truely heartbroken.. but things would work out, they always did... right?
