The haveli's temple was adorned with fresh marigold and rose garlands, the air filled with the soothing scent of sandalwood incense. The soft ringing of temple bells and the rhythmic chanting of mantras created a divine atmosphere.

Mokshi, draped in a stunning hot pink Banarasi saree, adjusted her pallu gracefully, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. Her golden jhumkas swayed gently as she folded her hands in devotion.

Beside her, Sahil stood tall in a red kurta, his hands joined in prayer, his eyes filled with quiet reverence. He glanced at Mokshi, a soft smile forming on his lips. She looked ethereal, like a goddess.

Pandit Ji sprinkled holy water on them and chanted:
"Bhagwan tum dono ka jivan sukhmayi kare, tumhara bandhan kabhi na toote."

Mokshi and Sahil bent down to touch his feet. He blessed them, placing his hands on their heads.

Pandit Ji (smiling): "Ek dusre ka hamesha saath dena, prem aur vishwas hi sabse badi shakti hai.Tum dono ka saath saat janam ka ho"

Sahil (whispering to Mokshi): "Ek janam to sambhal nhi paa rha hu aur pandit ji 7 janam ka torture plan aur kr rhe hai!"

Mokshi (showing fake anger): "Agar sambhala nhi jaa rha to abhi bhi chance hai bhaag jao!"

Sahil (smirking): "Ab kuch nhi kr sakta, contract sign ho gya upar vale ke saath!"

Mokshi rolled her eyes but couldnโ€™t stop the smile creeping onto her face. They closed their eyes and joined their hands once more, silently prayingโ€”

"Bhagwan, jo bhi hoโ€ฆ bas ek dusre ka haath kabhi na chhute."

As they opened their eyes, a cool breeze passed through, making the diya flames flicker but not extinguishโ€”
as if the universe itself had blessed their bond.

The haveli was bustling with excitement, laughter echoing in every corner as the mehendi function kicked off. The fragrance of fresh henna mixed with the sweet scent of mogras adorning the venue. Fairy lights twinkled around the courtyard, and the dhol beats kept the energy high.

Mokshi sat on an elegant plush cushion, draped in a rich green Rajasthani lehenga, her hands stretched out as the henna artist carefully crafted intricate designs. She looked at Sahil, who was lazily sitting beside her, clearly avoiding getting mehendi in his hands.

Mokshi (narrowing her eyes): "Sahil, agar mehendi ka colour dark nahi hua naa, toh shaadi ke ek hafte baad tak tum living room mein so ge!"

Sahil (alarmed, turning to the henna artist): "Bhabhi, please! Koi bhi desi totka laga lo, lekin mehendi ka rang gehra hona chahiye! Mirchi bhi mila do, bas warna kaala aaye!"

The henna artist giggled while Yug, dressed in a mehendi green kurta, smirked as he held out his own hand.

Yug: "Bhabhi, mujhe ek kaam aur karna haiโ€ฆ mere mehendi mein #YuRu likhna hai, sundar se design ke saath."

Henna Artist: "Done bhaiya!"

Rushi, elegantly dressed in a pista green sharara, was distracted on a work call while her henna was being applied.

Rushi (on call, frustrated): "Astit, tum mujhe mehendi ke din bhi kaam se chain nahi lene doge kya?!"

Yug (whispered to rushi's henna aritist): "Bhabhi chupke se iski mehendi pr #YuRu likh do!"

Meanwhile, Liv, dressed in an emerald green crop top and skirt set, was pacing around anxiously, continuously checking her phone.

Liv: "Mera showroom se delivery aayi ya nahi? Agar Mokshi ka lehenga late hua naa toh main kisi ko nahi chhodungi!"

At the side, a massive war was happening between Krish and Gauri over who would get their mehendi done first.

Krish (grinning): "Ladies first wali baat sirf buffet mein apply hoti hai, mehendi mein nahi!"

Gauri (rolling her eyes): "Buddhu! Mehendi ke bina teri shakal aur bhi boring lagegi. Main pehle kara rahi hoon!"

Krish (mocking her): "Oh ho, ab to yeh bhi beauty ka secret hai?"

The henna artist sighed in defeat, while the rest of the group laughed at their endless bickering.

At last, Sahil, still sulking, was finally forced to get a small mehendi design done.

Mokshi (teasing): "Shaadi ke baad dulhe ke haath mehendi waale nahi dekhe toh shaadi adhoori rehti hai!"

Sahil (dramatically): "Main mehendi lagane se pehle hi shaadi cancel kar deta agar yeh rule pehle pata hota!"

Everyone burst into laughter while the mehendi function continued in full swing.

As the mehendi dried, it was time for Bhaat Functionโ€”a ritual where Mokshiโ€™s maternal uncle (Mama Ji) brought gifts, blessings, and performed the wedding chooda ceremony.

She was seated on a decorated wooden chowki, her eyes filled with emotions and excitement.

Mama Ji: "Yeh chooda pehno, beta. Isse pehle doodh mein dubo kar shuddh kiya gaya hai, ab tum ise sirf shaadi ke din dekhogi."

He tied a green cloth over her chooda, a tradition that built anticipation for the brideโ€™s big day.

Mokshi (smiling nervously): "Aab toh asli waali dulhan wali feeling aa rahi hai!"

Sahil (grinning, whispering to her): "Abhi bhi time haiโ€ฆ bhaagna hai toh bata do!"

Mokshi (smirking): "Bhaagne ka toh socha thaโ€ฆ lekin phir yaad aaya tumhare bina toh mehendi ka rang bhi nahi aayega!"

A wave of "aww" and teasing whistles filled the air, as the night ended with laughter, music, and more anticipation for the wedding!

The bright morning sun kissed the lush garden, decorated with marigold strings and peacock feathers, adding to the festive vibe of the haldi ceremony. Mokshi looked stunning in her peacock-colored lehenga, her smile as radiant as the day.

Sahil, wearing a matching kurta, sat on the ceremonial stool, already bracing himself for the madness.

Rushi, in her lavender crop top and embroidered cargo pants, smirked mischievously as she smeared haldi on Sahil's cheeks. โ€œBas, bas, Rushi! Itna pyaar mat dikha,โ€ Sahil protested, laughing nervously.

But as soon as she turned to grab more haldi, Sahil quickly took some used haldi from his cheek and smeared it across hers.

"Ab agli baari teri hai!" Sahil teased, winking at her.

"Chup karo, Sahil bhai! Main aapki shakal pe aur haldi lagaungi," Rushi retorted, chasing him with a bowl of haldi.

Meanwhile, Yug, dressed in a lavender kurta, watched Mokshi with pleading puppy eyes. "Mokshi, please meri bhi haldi lagaa do. Mujhe bhi shaadi bahut zor se karni hai!"

Mokshi rolled her eyes but laughed. โ€œzor se karni hai yaa rushi se karni hai...!โ€

Nearby, Liv twirled in her pink crossed top and layered pants, throwing flower petals at everyone.

Gauri, stunning in her orange pathani sharara

, cheered on Krish, who was flaunting his multicolor kurta, trying to outshine everyone.

โ€œArey Krish, tu rainbow hai ya dulhan ka lehenga?โ€ Gauri joked, laughing hysterically.

The fun peaked when they all jumped into the haldi pool, splashing yellow water everywhere. โ€œOhh ! Sahil bhai , mere kapde mat kharab karo!โ€ yelled Rushi.
โ€œTumhare kapde haldi ke liye nahin banaye gaye, Rushi!โ€ Sahil shot back, tossing water on her.

As the chaos unfolded, Liv screamed, โ€œMain haldi lagane aayi thi, swimming karne nahi!โ€
Krish dramatically yelled, โ€œAaj toh sab log multicolor lagenge! Aao, milke girein!โ€ and pulled everyone in.

Laughter, splashes, and witty banter echoed as the haldi ceremony turned into an unforgettable comedy of chaos and joy!
