It's been one week since they came from Europe. The things were going nice but there is a turmoil of awkwardness wandering between yug and rushi. The wedding preperations were going on its peak. From next to next week the wedding functions are about to start.
Mokshi's Living Room
Mokshi, a vibrant, soon-to-be bride, is pacing around her living room, phone in hand. Her wedding is just two weeks away, and the excitement mixed with nervous energy is clearly visible on her face. She’s wearing a light pink kurta, her hair loosely tied, and her bangles jingling with every movement. The room is scattered with bridal magazines, to-do lists, and wedding invites. Her two best friends, Yug and Rushi, finally arrive, looking unapologetic and slightly smug.
Mokshi (glaring): "Finally! The kings of irresponsibility grace me with their presence. Care to explain why you didn’t pick up my calls or get my parcel from the mall? You had one job, Yug! And Rushi, you promised you'd remind him!"
Yug (leaning casually against the doorframe): "Ah, Mokshi, relax. Bridezilla mode, already? It’s not even your mehendi function yet."
Rushi (snickering): "Seriously, Mokshi, do you even breathe anymore? Or is your oxygen supply wedding-planning stress now?"
Mokshi (hands on her hips): "Don’t start with your jokes, Rushi. Do you know how important that parcel is? It has the jewelry I need for my pre-wedding shoot tomorrow! You two can’t even handle a simple task."
Yug (rolling his eyes): "Oh please, like your groom-to-be, Sahil, wouldn’t run to the ends of the earth for you. Why didn’t you just call him?"
Rushi: "Yeah, poor guy is already whipped. He’d probably fight a dragon if you asked him to."
Mokshi (blushing slightly): "This is not about Sahil! This is about you two. My so-called best friends who are supposed to be my pillars of support. Instead, you’re more like—"
Yug (cutting her off): "Cushions. Fluffy and useless, right? We’ve heard it all before. But come on, Mokshi, give us a break. We forgot, okay? No need to sharpen your wedding heels and stab us with them."
Rushi: "Besides, you’re already glowing like a 100-watt bulb. What's a little misplaced parcel going to do? Dim your shine?"
Mokshi (groaning): "You two are impossible! How are we even friends?!"
Yug (grinning): "Because no one else can handle your drama, obviously."
Rushi: "Also, because we’re awesome. Don’t forget that part."
Mokshi (rolling her eyes but smiling slightly): "Fine, you’re forgiven. But only because I don’t have time to deal with you two AND my wedding prep."
Yug: "Forgiven already? That’s a record."
Rushi: "Yeah, but don’t get too happy, Yug. We’re still on parcel duty tomorrow."
Mokshi: "Yes, you are. And don’t mess it up this time. Otherwise, I’ll make you both wear pink at my wedding."
Yug and Rushi exchange horrified glances while Mokshi smirks triumphantly. Despite their endless banter, the bond between them is unbreakable.
Yug: "Fine. Pink it is, if that’s what it takes. But only for you, Bridezilla."
Rushi: "And because we love you. Even if you’re driving us crazy."
Mokshi (softening): "I love you guys too. Now, go get that parcel before I actually lose it!"
After some days:
All three laugh as they leave, and Mokshi feels a mix of gratitude and relief, knowing her best friends will always have her back—even if they love roasting her along the way.
Scene: Mokshi’s Bedroom – Packing for Meghalaya Pre-Wedding Shoot
Mokshi’s bedroom is buzzing with activity. Mokshi is folding clothes while her best friends Dora and Liv are sprawled across the bed, discussing outfits. Rushi is sitting on the floor, trying to zip up Mokshi’s overflowing suitcase. Yug, meanwhile, is at Sahil’s place, helping him pack for the same trip. The excitement is palpable, and chaos is inevitable.
Mokshi (holding up a red lehenga): "What do you think, guys? Should I wear this for the waterfall shot or the sunrise one?"
Dora (snatching the lehenga): "Definitely the sunrise one! Imagine this color with the golden light. Perfect Instagram moment!"
Liv: "Wait, are you actually planning your outfits around Instagram likes? Mokshi, you’ve officially lost it!"
Rushi (struggling with the suitcase): "You think that’s bad? Look at this luggage! She’s packed like she’s moving to Meghalaya, not going for a two-day shoot!"
Mokshi (defensively): "Listen, Rushi, a bride needs options! What if it rains? What if it gets cold? What if—"
Dora (interrupting): "What if you just admit you’re overthinking?"
Liv (laughing): "Seriously, Mokshi, even Sahil bro wouldn’t care this much, and he’s the one marrying you!"
Mokshi (blushing): "Shut up, Liv! And don’t drag Sahil into this. You all know he loves my craziness."
Rushi (grinning): "Poor guy doesn’t have a choice anymore, does he? Shaadi fix ho gayi, ab toh no exit!"
Dora (teasing): "By the way, Mokshi, Sahil bro was saying he is more stressed about his outfits than you are. Kya chal raha hai?"
Mokshi (rolling her eyes): "Great, now you’re roasting Sahil. Can’t you all just behave for once?"
Liv: "Where’s the fun in that? Anyway, what’s Yugi doing? Isn’t he supposed to be here helping us?"
Rushi: "Woh Sahil ke ghar gaya hai. Apparently, Sahil ke kapde pack karwane mein help kar raha hai."
Dora: "Yug? Help? Matlab packing ke naam pe woh Sahil ko roast kar raha hoga!"
Cut to Sahil’s House – Yug and Sahil Packing
Sahil’s room is a mix of folded shirts, scattered shoes, and confusion. Sahil is holding up a traditional kurta while Yug sits on the bed, munching chips and doing nothing remotely helpful.
Sahil: "Yug, yaar, help kar na! Yeh kurta beach shoot ke liye theek rahega ya nahi?"
Yug (mocking): "Haan, bilkul. Bas paani ke andar mat jaana, varna lagoge jaise shaadi se bhaag ke aa rahe ho."
Sahil (laughing): "You’re useless. Why did Mokshi even send you here?"
Yug: "Mujhe lagta hai, mujhe tumhe shaadi ke pehle mentally tayar karna tha. Abhi bhi time hai, bhai, agar bhaagna hai toh signal de do."
Sahil (grinning): "I’m not you, okay? Mujhe Mokshi se darr nahi lagta."
Yug: "Haan, bas jab Mokshi ek din late night call karegi, tab yaad karna yeh dialogue."
They both burst out laughing as Yug throws a pillow at Sahil.
Cut Back to Mokshi’s House
The gang is almost done packing, and the mood is light-hearted.
Dora: "Mokshi, itni excitement hai Meghalaya ki. Pata hai, kal subah alarm bajega, toh tu sabse zyada panic karegi."
Liv: "And she’ll forget something. Pakka!"
Mokshi: "Oh, ha-ha, very funny. Just wait until your weddings. Main sab yaad rakhoongi!"
Rushi (dramatically): "Koi toh meri bhi shaadi karwa do! Bhagwan, mujhe bhi kisi Sahil ka wait hai!"
Dora: "First find someone who can tolerate your jokes, Rushi. Tabhi baat banegi."
Liv: "Guys, focus! We’re going to Meghalaya tomorrow. Pre-wedding shoot time! And I swear, I’m not helping with any last-minute drama."
Mokshi (hugging them): "You guys are the best. I don’t know what I’d do without you."
Dora: "Pakka pagal ho jaati."
Liv: "Correction—aur zyada pagal ho jaati!"
They all laugh, the room filled with love, teasing, and the kind of friendship that can handle anything.
The scene ends with the gang excitedly discussing their travel plans and teasing Mokshi about how Sahil will react to her 50kg luggage.
The Airport – Early Morning
The gang has arrived at the airport, bleary-eyed but buzzing with excitement. Mokshi walks ahead with Sahil, a trolley cart in tow, piled high with multiple oversized suitcases. The rest of the group—Yug, Rushi, Dora, Liv, and Krish—trail behind, struggling to suppress their laughter at the absurd sight.
Sahil (stopping mid-step, eyes wide): "Yeh sab kya hai, Mokshi? Tum poora ghar shift kar rahi ho kya?"
Mokshi (innocently): "Itna bhi zyada nahi hai! Pre-wedding shoot hai, Sahil. Outfit options toh chahiye na."
Sahil (counting the bags): "Options? Yeh options nahi, wardrobe hai! Tumhare luggage ka weight hum sab se zyada hoga. Plane ke pilot ko bata doon kya?"
Yug (chiming in): "Haan, bhai. Safety ke liye zaroori hai. Agar plane tilt ho gaya toh sabse pehle blame Mokshi ke suitcases ko milega."
Rushi: "Andar se lagta hai Mokshi poori Meghalaya ke mausam ke liye ready hai—snow, rain, earthquake, volcano, sab kuch!"
Mokshi (defensive): "Oh, please! Dora aur Liv ke bhi toh bags hain. Unhe kuch nahi bol rahe ho!"
Liv: "Excuse me, humare bags normal size ke hain. Tere wale toh... (points at the oversized suitcase) portable almirah lag rahe hain!"
Krish (grinning): "Sahil, bhai, abhi time hai. Tum bol do ki tumhara passport ghar pe bhool gaye ho aur bhaag jao."
Sahil: "Passport toh le aaya hoon. Par tum log mujhe idea der rahe ho."
The group bursts into laughter as Mokshi glares at them.
Sahil (looking at another suitcase Mokshi is dragging): "Aur yeh kya hai?"
Mokshi: "Yeh shoes ke liye hai."
Sahil (shocked): "Ek poora suitcase sirf jooton ke liye?"
Yug (mocking): "Haan bhai, bride ban rahi hai. Har photo mein alag shoes chahiye. Agar ek photo mein do baar same shoes aa gaye toh kya izzat reh jayegi?"
Dora (giggling): "Mokshi, tumhare luggage ke liye alag plane book kar lete hain kya? Airlines waale mana karenge nahi, agar woh dekh lenge ki tum bride ho."
Mokshi (crossing her arms): "Tum sab bas jealous ho. Sahil, tum toh kuch bolo na!"
Sahil (trying not to laugh): "Main kya bolu, Mokshi? Mere kapdon ka ek chhota bag hai aur tumhara luggage dekh ke mujhe lagta hai ki shaadi ke baad wardrobe mujhe milegi ya nahi!"
Krish: "Sahil bhai, kapdon ki baat chhodo. Tu pehle yeh bata, yeh floral shirt kisne choose kiya? Aisa lag raha hai Goa honeymoon Meghalaya ke shoot ke pehle shuru kar diya."
Sahil (grinning sheepishly): "Mokshi ne bola yeh cute lagega..."
Yug: "Cute nahi, bhai. Tum Meghalaya ke forests ka part lag rahe ho. Wahi toh lagta hai plan tha!"
Liv: "Aur yeh shoes? White sneakers? Pata hai Meghalaya mein baarish ho sakti hai?"
Sahil (defensive): "Mujhe kya pata tha! Tum logon ne bola pack light, toh maine wahi kiya!"
Mokshi: "Sahil, tum meri wajah se meri taraf ho ya unki taraf?"
Sahil (smirking): "Mujhe lagta hai main pilot ke saath hoon—agar plane overweight hua toh bags phenkne ka option rakhna padega."
The group laughs again as Mokshi throws her scarf at Sahil, pretending to sulk.
Yug (patting Sahil’s shoulder): "Bhai, abhi toh yeh trailer hai. Shaadi ke baad toh Mokshi tumhe full-on film dikhayegi."
Rushi: "Aur luggage dikhayegi. Har weekend outing mein ek naya suitcase!"
Krish: "Bas ek baat ka dhyan rakhna, Sahil bhai—yeh sab dekhke ‘haan’ bol diya hai, ab complain mat karna. Terms and conditions apply!"
Mokshi shakes her head, finally laughing with them, while Sahil looks at the luggage one last time and sighs.
Sahil: "Chalo, chalo. Check-in karte hain. Tum sab toh mujhe pack kar do, bas!"
Liv: "Don’t worry, Sahil bro. Aapki packing toh Mokshi already kar chuki hai. Zindagi bhar ke liye."
With that, the group heads to the check-in counter, still laughing and roasting each other as the trip to Meghalaya officially begins.
Meghalaya – The Pre-Wedding Shoot at a Waterfall
The air is cool, the mist from the waterfall gently brushing against Sahil and Mokshi. The photographer, a young, energetic guy named Ayaan, is setting up his camera. Mokshi is in a stunning red gown, and Sahil is in a crisp white shirt with black trousers. The crew is bustling around, but the moment feels oddly personal as Ayaan gives instructions for a “sexy, intimate” pose.
Ayaan (clapping his hands): "Okay, guys! Ab ek romantic vibe lana hai. Mokshi, lean into Sahil’s chest, and Sahil, hold her waist. But close. Like... really close. And look into each other’s eyes—full passion, full intensity."
Mokshi and Sahil freeze for a moment, exchanging a glance that screams awkwardness. The rest of the group—Yug, Rushi, Dora, Liv, and Krish—stand nearby, struggling to hide their giggles.
Mokshi (thinking): Close? Kitna close? Matlab, cheek pe lipstick lag gayi toh?
Sahil (thinking): Full intensity? Yeh toh aankhein milate hi awkward lag raha hai. Yeh banda kuch zyada hi inspired hai Bollywood se.
Mokshi hesitantly steps closer, her cheeks flushed. Sahil awkwardly places his hands around her waist, his fingers stiff like wooden sticks.
Ayaan (encouraging): "Relax, guys! Tum log couple ho, na? Love marriage kar rahe ho? Yeh toh natural hona chahiye!"
Sahil (awkwardly): "Haan... natural... bilkul."
Yug (whispering to Rushi): "Dekh, bro. Sahil ke expression mein lagta hai jaise kisi ne use Viva exam dene bula liya ho."
Rushi (snickering): "Aur Mokshi ka face dekh. Pata chal raha hai ki woh soch rahi hai, ‘paani mein doob jaun bas!’"
Ayaan: "Okay, Mokshi, tilt your chin up slightly. Aur Sahil, lightly brush her hair behind her ear. Bahut intimate lagega."
Sahil’s hand trembles as he lifts it toward Mokshi’s face. Mokshi’s heart races as she tries to maintain eye contact.
Mokshi (thinking): Sahil ke haath kaan ke paas aaye toh galti se chain kheench liya toh? Yeh pose se zyada Stunt Banega!
Sahil (thinking): Oh God, kya kar raha hoon? Yeh waise romantic hona tha, par mujhe lag raha hai shooting kar raha hoon.
Sahil finally tucks her hair behind her ear, and their faces are inches apart now. Mokshi lets out a nervous laugh, breaking the tension.
Ayaan (dramatically): "No, no! Don’t laugh, Mokshi. Stay in the moment. Eyes locked. Passion. Chemistry. Tum dono film ka poster ban rahe ho!"
Dora (whispering to Liv): "Film ka poster? Yeh toh lag rahe hain awkward college freshers."
Krish: "Haan, aur poster mein tagline hogi—‘Jab Sharmana Tha Tabhi Pyaar Hua.’"
The group stifles their laughter as Ayaan snaps a few shots.
Ayaan: "Perfect! Bas ab ek aur step ahead lete hain. Mokshi, look up at Sahil with longing, and Sahil, lightly hold her face. Almost like you’re about to kiss."
Mokshi (out loud): "WHAT?!"
Sahil (blinking rapidly): "Bhai, yeh shoot hai ya honeymoon rehearsal?"
Ayaan (smiling confidently): "Trust me, guys. Yeh shots iconic lagenge. Just do it for a few seconds."
Mokshi and Sahil exchange panicked looks. Mokshi nervously places her hands on Sahil’s shoulders while Sahil lightly cups her face, their noses almost touching. Their breaths mingle, and both feel the awkward heat rising.
Mokshi (thinking): Mujhe yaad kyun nahi tha ki yeh honeymoon vibe ke shots hote hain?
Sahil (thinking): Mujhe sirf ek hi sawal hai—mere dost yahaan kyun hain?!
After what feels like an eternity, Ayaan finally yells, "Got it!" Mokshi and Sahil instantly pull apart, laughing nervously. The group erupts in teasing.
Yug: "Sahil, kya chemistry thi, bhai! Matlab... agle take mein sach mein kiss ho jata toh hum gallery mein claps karte."
Rushi: "Haan! Mokshi ka blush dekh. Maine suna hai Meghalaya ke clouds bhi jealous ho gaye."
Dora: "But seriously, tum dono ka coordination dekha? Natural tha... matlab, thoda natural tha."
Krish: "Natural kaise na ho? Do hafte mein toh honeymoon ka first draft shuru ho raha hai!"
Mokshi hides her face behind her hands, laughing and embarrassed.
Mokshi: "Tum sab chup karoge ya aur sharaminda karna baaki hai?"
Sahil (grinning): "Main toh bas yeh soch raha hoon ki is shoot ke baad mujhe ‘romantic pose’ ka diploma milna chahiye."
Yug: "Haan, aur Mokshi ko ‘overacting band karo’ ka medal!"
Ayaan (walking over): "Guys, great job! Tum dono ke shots bahut ache aaye hain. Instagram pe tag kar dena, okay?"
Liv: "Instagram? Oh God, imagine the captions!"
Krish: "'When two awkward people pretend to be passionate for 2 seconds and fail spectacularly.'"
The group laughs hysterically as Sahil and Mokshi exchange an exasperated look, both secretly glad the ordeal is over.
