A Year Later...

It had been a year since Henrik, Anna, Jenna, and Eric had met each other. The four were closer than ever and were like a family now. Though Henry was still a ghost, Jenna, and Eric, or Anna would make Henry appear to them at times with a simple old spell that few in Eric's family knew. More so Eric and Jenna would perform the spell making Henry appear to them.

Being that Anna could already see Henry while he was on the other side. Eric and Jenna made it a point to try and make Henry appear once a week to try and stay in touch with the ghost. Though they really didn't need to do it seeing as he was always beside Anna. Not leaving her side. Only doing such a thing when he would check in with his family seeing how they were doing. Then he would return to Anna's side telling her all that he had witnessed as a ghost sadly.

But Anna and Henry were the true meaning of soulmates. The two held no secrets from each other and where one was the other was not far away. Though the two could only interact with each other so much being Henry was a ghost and on the other side. That didn't stop them from being together. The two were always learning about each other and helping one another.

Both learning about new spells and teaching each other old ones. Anna helped Henry with him being a ghost on the other side. Letting him lean on her and speak about whatever on the matter, and Anna would always reassure him she will bring him back to life one day. While Henry knew she would, he just had to be patient. While Anna helped and gave Henry a shoulder to lean on, Henry helped Anna as well. He helped her with shifting into her wolf form every full moon and let her lean on him. As well as made her feel a love like no other.

Right now though the four Jenna, Eric, Henry, and Anna were in a car having just driven past the 'Welcome to Mystic Falls' sign. Eric was driving while Jenna was in the passenger seat with Henry and Anna were in the back seats. The four were quiet at the moment looking around at their surroundings on guard. They knew from Henry's intel from check out the place, and from his time watching over his family while they resided in Mystic Falls, knew that it was crawling with supernatural beings. Both alive and on the other side. So the coven knew they had to be careful and on guard.

"Well Rik which way to go. Try to show us the quickest way to your burial. Being we need to be as quick as possible with this and get out of here. We've only been here a few minutes, and I can already feel the supernatural creatures and magic here," Eric sighed as he looked out the window at the people around. Anna had earlier performed the spell to reveal Henry to them. The four knew that they needed him here. Needing his knowledge on the area and quick mindedness.

"Go to the cemetery and park there. We'll have to stop there and go on foot from there," Henry nodded and instructed Eric. Eric sent him a nod giving his phone to Jenna. She soon typed in his code then the location on his phone and showed them to Eric so he could see the directions. While they did this Henry turned his attention to Anna. Who was very quiet as she looked out the window.

Henry was worried about her.

She was very quiet while looking out the window fiddling with her fingers and shirt sleeve. Henry sighed wishing he could take her hand in his and comfort her. But a smile soon took over Henry's lips as he thought he could do such a thing soon. He soon sighed and looked out the window and watched the scenery outside as they arrived at the cemetery. They all soon got out of the car and went to the back of the car to the trunk. Eric soon reached in and grabbed three black bags. He gave one to Jenna with a kiss and then the next bag to Anna helping her put the bag on. Then he put the next one on his back. Looking at the other three and smiling nodding his head making sure everything was together and ready.

"Alright lead the way Mikaelson," Jenna chuckled as she gestured onwards. This caused the three to laugh but soon turned to Henry waiting for his instructions and for the directions. Henry smiled and gestured for them to follow him looking around making sure no one else had seen them nor follow. But soon stopped looking at Anna for a moment. Eric and Jenna saw his look and got his attention, sending him a smile and nodded to Anna.

"Okay follow that path," Henry smiled at the two and nodded towards the direction they would need to take. Eric and Jenna soon took each other's hand and began to walk in the direction giving Henry and Anna a moment alone together. Henry soon turned to Anna and sent her a reassuring smile. Anna sent him a smile back. As she pushed her glasses upon her nose then reached for her backpack straps playing with them.

"You alright love," Henry asked with a smile walking next to her as they followed behind Eric and Jenna for a moment. Looking down at Anna he watched as her face filled with worry and a frown soon took upon her face.

"I'm fine, just worried is all. J - just... what if it doesn't work the spell and the link or bond. I - I just - ," Anna started to ramble and stutter over her words but was cut off by Henry. Looking up at Henry with a frown. Henry sighed and stopped walking causing Anna to stop as well. He soon looked down at Anna and sent her a smile.

"Love, it is alright. I have faith in you. Whatever happens now know that I'll be here for you and that I love you Anna Grimm," Henry chuckled with his deep accented rich voice that always seemed to calm Anna. Stepping closer to her Henry smiled and reached a hand up to her face. He soon let his fingers brush over the bridge of her nose and then rested on her check. As he did the gesture Anna sighed and closed her eyes smiling to herself. Though they couldn't touch each other with Henry being on the other side. Anna could always feel a cold breeze when Henry did the gesture and she knew it was him.

:"I love you too Henrik Mikaelson," Anna whispered. This caused Henry to look at Anna with adoration. Smiling wide at her and chuckling hearing her say she loved him never grew old for Henry. He loved it when she told him she loved him, he felt like was on cloud nine every time. But the thought was interrupted by Eric shouting at them. Causing Anna's eyes to snap open. Henry and Anna soon turned their attention to Eric.

"Alright sorry to interrupt such a loving moment. But we need to get this done you two love birds," Eric laughed with a smile. Jenna chuckled as well but nodded in agreement. Henry shook his head and flipped Eric the bird before walking on Anna not far behind giggle, " I know you're not talking Eric look at you two."

This caused Eric to look down at Jenna's and his hands that were still entangled together and a light blush to take over his face. Soon Eric and Anna began bickering together over stupid things like two siblings. Jenna and Henry laugh at the two and their antics, making comments here and there.

But soon the banter stopped and everyone went quiet when Henry who was in front of them stopped. His wide shoulders tense and he stood stiff. Anna looked to Eric and Jenna which they sent her a nod encouraging her to go to him. Anna sighed and walked to Henry and stood next to him. There in front of them was a little and very old burial area with a hand made piece of wood that had writing on it that Anna didn't understand. Anna looked at Henry and sighed and saw a frown upon his face.

"You alright Henrik? Wait! No, that's a stupid question. Of course you not. You know what I'm just going to shut up now," Anna stumbled over her words then stopped talking all together looking to the ground. This caused Henry to chuckle and look at his soulmate with a small smile.

"I'm fine Anna. Just want to get this done with," Henry sighed looking down at his grave where he was buried. It took a moment for him not to be consumed by his memories. So clearing his throat and taking a breath of air Henry turned to Eric, Jenna, and Anna then pointed to the ground and spoke, "I was buried here. This is where I lay."

"Okay let's get you back to the land of the living Rik," Eric chuckled as he took off the huge black backpack on his back. He then turned it over and took out three mini shovels and gave two of them to Jenna and Anna keeping one for himself.

The three then began to quickly dig into Henry's grave trying to search for his bones fast. After some time of digging and talking to one another about the plan to bring back Henry. They soon reached Henry's bones that were in the hole. Climbing out of the hole the three stood and looked at one another they all nodded. Jenna soon went to her bag and took out four crystals and placed them a little aways around the grave. Hoping the spelled crystals will keep the impact of the spell they were about to do under control and away from others. Soon Jenna stood at the left of the grave then Eric stood on the right and before the grave was Anna.

Who had taken out an old spelled knife from her bag and held it in her hand. Looking to Eric and Jenna then Henry, Anna soon took a gulp of air nervously and then nodded with determination. Looking at Henry one last time and mouthed 'I love you' to him. Henry smiled and mouthed it back as he watched her start to chant a spell. Soon Jenna followed after Anna chanted the same spell then Eric.

All three combined their magic to bring Henry back. All three soon raised their hands and began voicing the chant louder. As they did the wind started to pick up around them. Continuing with the chant Anna soon took the blade and cut her hand. Letting her hand hover over Henry's grave letting her blood drop. She soon turned and reached for Henry. Both of them grabbing and holding one another's hands. Henry gasped and looked with wide eyes, being able to feel Anna. Anna smiled at him and nodded and Henry too began to chant.

Have the four of them chant combining their magic making it more powerful. Soon bright orbs appeared from Henry's and Anna's chest just like the first night they met. Soon they mingled together making the orb one and became brighter. As this happened the winds picked up and made their hair and clothes blow around.

Henry then began to disappear into the bright orb still chanting the spell. And soon the orb broke into two as this happened Anna fell to the ground unconscious. As Anna fell the orb hovered over her almost to see if she was okay. Before traveling over Henry's grave and disappearing into the bones. A shake went over the earth beneath their feet causing the dirt the three just digged up to fall over into the hole. Along with Eric and Jenna to fall back and both to yelp in unision 'fuck'. But the two soon hurried and quickly got to work knowing they had to be quick.

Soon Jenna ran over to pick up the crystals and threw them in her backpack. Then ran over to Anna trying to wake her up. Seeing she had no luck Jenna sighed running to her bag took out a bandage and wrapped up Anna's hand. Looking over to Eric, Jenna found him grunting and growling trying to dig up the dirt that fell into Henry's grave.

Jenna gasped though when she saw a hand shot out from under the dirt. Eric soon grabbed a hold of the hand and pulled. As he pulled they were soon met with a dirty very much alive Henry gasping for air. Who looked around frantically as he got up from the hole stumbling over his feet falling to the ground.

"Hey Rik! Come on we gotta get out of here," Eric encouraged as he threw Henry's large arm around his shoulder. Soon dragging Henry to his bag and grabbing it with a grunt and pulling the large man along. Jenna wasn't that far away having collected the supplies they had taken out and quickly putting them in their bags. She was now dragging Anna along with her arm over shoulder. But seeing Anna caused Henry to reach out for her.

"A - Ann - na," Henry croaked out, stuttering over his words. He wanted to make sure Anna was okay.

"I know Henrik. We'll make sure Anna's okay, I promise. But we have to get out of Mystic Falls," Eric grunted as he reassured Henry as he patted him on the back dragging him along. The four soon made it to the car and were quick to get back on the road again. Putting as much distance between Mystic Falls and them as they could. Not wanting anyone to know it was them who did such a spell if they felt it. Henry was put in the front with Eric but his head was turned to the back where Anna and Jenna were. Jenna had Anna lay on her lap as she smoothed out the curly hair on top of Anna's head. Whispering soothing words to the young woman. That was the last thing Henry saw before his eyes closed and everything went black.

Hours Later...

Anna was the first to wake up. Opening her dark brown eyes she was met with blurriness. Squinting her eyes she looked around. She soon found something or someone laying beside her. But turning she saw the table beside the bed she was on and found her glasses on the table. Putting them on she found her world more clearer. Anna soon turned wanting to know who was laying beside her and she gasped seeing who it was. It was Henry. Reaching a hand out she shakingly touched his cheek feeling that he was really there and had Anna in tears.

"H - Henrik, you're really here. I - It really worked," Anna stuttered and whimpered. Laying back down Anna turned onto her side and took Henry in. Yes, he was covered in dirt. But he was really there and not a ghost from the other side. He was really there in front of her... her soulmate. Anna layed there for a long moment holding Henry's hand looking at the ceiling thinking of somethings. When suddenly she heard a moan of pain then a grunt. She then looked over and found Henry with wide eyes looking at her.

"H - hi Henry," Anna smiled at him.

"A - Anna," Henry spoke with a scratchy voice clearing his throat. Looking at her Henry reached out wanting to touch her cheek but stopped when he saw the dirt all over it. Anna chuckled and took his outreached hand and smiled at him. Taking his hand Anna looked around and found they were in some sort of hotel. Looking back at Henry she chuckled and smiled widely. She then crawled over him not to let go of his hand and then pulled his large frame from the bed and dragged him to the bathroom. Henry stumbled but followed after Anna.

"Come on let's get you washed," Anna chuckled shyly as she let go of his hand and turned to turn on the water. Henry chuckled as well, smiling at Anna's shy behavior. Before taking off his old tunic. Turning back to him, Anna gasped seeing his bare chest. Yes, he had a strong firm chest. But what caught Anna's attention though was the long large wide fresh scarred claw marks. That started from his left shoulder ending at his lower hip. Anna sighed sadly seeing them tears returning to her eyes.

Henry wondered what she was crying for until she touched his chest. Looking down he sighed seeing the scars. But soon shook his head and smiled mischievously at her. Which Anna caught a moment too late before she was pushed into the shower clothes on. A yelp left Anna's mouth but was soon covered by Henry's lips. He soon pulled away and smiled at Anna who was shocked looking at him with wide eyes.

"You don't know how long I've waited to kiss you Anna," Henry chuckled at her. But he was soon stopped by Anna, smiling as she reached on her toes to place her lips upon his. Both kissing each other passionately. Before Anna reached her hands to his jaw that had a full on beard then reached up to his head and felt the long hair. A giggle left her feeling how long it was but felt the tangles. So with a smile Anna shook her head and turned around taking off her shirt and then her pants and then her undergarments.

Henry watched Anna with awe and desire, but soon shook his head taking off his trousers. The two weren't ready for anything more. But they were so close and trusted each other so much. That they didn't care that they were bare in front of one another. Though they were a little shy they didn't care, they just wanted to be close to each other. Washing their bodies and hair helping one another and stealing kisses they were a giggling mess when they walked out of the shower. Both putting on their robes and stepping out of the bathroom they were met with both Eric and Jenna smirking at them.

"Pay up Jenna," Eric laughed as he reached out a hand to Jenna.

"Shit you guys couldn't wait," Jenna chuckled as she shook her head digging into her pocket to grab a twenty dollar bill giving it to Eric.

"What did you two bet on because nothing happened," Anna sighed with a shake of her head at her friends as she crossed her arms. She soon smiled and looked up at Henry when he placed his arm over her shoulders. Henry smiled down at her then looked at the two, " yeah what could you two have possible bet on."

"We betted how long it would take for you two to jump each other's bones. I said a few days but Eric said a few hours. And I'll take that back," Jenna laughed before snatching her twenty dollars away from him. Eric chuckled and reach out to take the money back while laughed, "wait how do you know they didn't."

"I can tell because Anna would have been a stuttering mess and red in the face as would Henry. And something tells me these two would have marked each other up more than they already have," Jenna pointed out with pride knowing her two friends. But laughed at the two as they shuffled closer with blush over their faces.

"Damn it you're right," Eric cursed looking at the two. Jenna continued with her laughter, "when am I ever wrong."

"Oh shut up you two," Anna sighed with a smile as she took Henry's hand and walked him to the bed. Pushing him to sit down on the floor. Jenna knew what Anna was doing so she got up to go to the bag in the room and grabbed Anna's brush. Handing it to Anna who mumbled out a 'thank you' Jenna nodded back and went back to sitting. Anna then began to brush out Henry's long hair while humming a song.

Everyone was content and in their own little world.

Until Eric looked up and saw that Anna was done brushing all the tangles out of Henry's hair. He smiled at the two seeing them together. He soon left the room to go to another to grab some clothes for Henry. He then went back to the room and threw the clothes at Henry before speaking, "alright Henry you're with me."

"Where are we going," Henry questioned before walking to the bathroom to put the clothes on.

"We're going to get you a new makeover," Eric laughed, pointing to Henry. He had seen a barber shop not that far away and a store to get him clothes.

"Fine," Henry laughed with a shrug. He then leaned over and placed a kiss upon Anna's lips causing her to send him a shy smile. As he walked into the bathroom to put on the clothes. The two soon left, leaving Jenna and Anna to themselves. The two girls sat up talking about Eric and Henry, the men they love before watching a movie together. The two soon fell asleep in each other's arms.

After a while they were then woken up by the laughter of Henry and Eric coming into the room. As Henry came into the room though Anna gasped seeing him. Yes, he was hot before. Now though he looked like a whole new man with short dark brown almost ebony like hair, short stubble, and a wide happy smile upon his face.

When he came into the room he went straight to Anna picking her up and spinning her around. Laughter and kisses were exchanged and were heard between the two. Eric and Jenna soon slipped out of the room giving the soulmates some time alone. That night the two soulmates layed in bed in
