(I think I missed a day or two π)
(We got the GepardxY/n fan club, and now the CaelusvsJing Yuan war is beginning lol)
Y/n was loved by many for one reason or another.
Whether it was how reliable she was, the crazy π© she did to protect the Luofu, or just her fun loving personality when she wasn't losing her mind over a nickname she hated.
When she went missing, and was never found when the opportunity to search for her arose, it hit a lot of people pretty hard. Especially those who worked at the Seat of Divine Foresight.
Side Character 27891 was amongst those people, but suddenly learning that she was alive filled him with overwhelming joy!
Of course he couldn't help but spread the news when he finally returned to report his findings during his somewhat successful infiltration.
"Miss Y/n! She's alive!"
"She's alive?" another Cloud Knight asked.
"But she died years ago, right?" a pen pusher inquired as she joined the two, "How could she be here?"
"She was never proclaimed dead, only missing!" Side Character 27891 said eagerly, "I saw her! She was just how I remembered, when she wasn't acting at least."
"Acting?"
"Mhm! Her and one of the General's honored guests were infiltrating that Disciples of Merciful Medicus organization!" Side Character 27891 exclaimed, "I think they might be married..."
"Married?!" the Cloud Knight and pen pusher demanded, drawing attention from others in the area.
"Married? Who?" someone else inquired.
"Miss Y/n!"
"But isn't she dead?"
"Missing! Not dead!"
"She's here with the Astral Express Crew!"
"Side Character 27891 says she's married to one!"
As they all got to chatting eagerly about the return of their dear friend as well as her supposed relationship with Caelus. Of course, there was that one person who noticed something. Let's called him Instigator 00002.
"Wait a second, you're saying Miss Y/n was married to this Trailblazer?" Instigator 00002 inquired, "But didn't her and the General have... y'know, a thing."
"What do you mean, they were just friends." someone else pointed out, "They did totally normal friend things. Like sparring together, completing paperwork together..."
"Shoving food down one another's throats when somebody forgot to eat." another person coughed.
"Now that I think about it, the General and Miss Y/n were pretty close." yet another individual commented, "For her to go missing and suddenly reappear with a husband... isn't that kind of strange?
Silence fell amongst them all.
"...so who does Miss Y/n care for more?"
In an instant, there was an uproar.
"The General, of course!"
"No way! Definitely the Trailblazer!"
"General!"
"Trailblazer!"
"General!"
"Trailblazer!"
As the bickering ensued, Side Character 27891 hurried along to pass on the news to Jing Yuan. He was sure the man would be elated to hear that y/n was alive and well, but...
Yeah. The second thoughts were hitting.
Side Character 27891 turned away, beginning to walk off, then turned again to approach the door, only to walk away, turn back, and repeat a couple of times.
He stopped, looked back to the argument further back, and wondered, 'Would I prefer being the one to tell him or just let him figure it out on his own?'
...
'I'll pass on this one.' he decided, wandering off.

"My π... Mr. Yang, she tased me in my π!"
"It was πing deserved too!"
Y/n was shedding tears while hiding behind Welt along with Caelus, the man shielding them from a furious taser wielding March.
"Calm down for a second March, y/n literally just died. Give her a second-!" Caelus began and flinched back to hide behind Welt again when the taser let out a loud BZZZT, "Mm, you know what, you should totally tase her for what she did, mhm!"
"Caelus!"
"Sorry, y/n, but one of us has gotta survive!"
"Ah... uh... π, I'm sorry!" y/n yelled as March began to approach, ready to zap the π© out of her.
"APOLOGY DECLINED!"
"Uh..." y/n blew a kiss.
March grabbed it and crushed it.
π©, she was mad.
"Please, I'm sorryβ!" y/n wheezed, "I was literally just stabbed in the throat, give me a break!"
"That's exactly why I'm upset!" March snapped back, "Maybe a couple more shocks to the π will convince you to be more cautious!"
"!!!" y/n's eyes widened.
"Now, now, I understand you may be angry, but my dear hero did a good thing today." Tingyun hummed as she eased the taser out of March's hand, "Because of her and Caelus, three members of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus were captured alive. Better alive when they can talk than dead when they can't, right?"
Caelus and y/n nodded eagerly from where they were still hiding behind a very tired looking Welt.
What? Looking after a hydrogen bomb, an attack dog who can't die, and an amnesiac photographer who apparently had a taser in her possession is challenging.
March gave y/n one last warning glare, 'Don't you dare die again, you got that?'
Y/n gave her a weary smile, 'Understood.'
"Now that that's sorted, I got this weird message." Caelus announced as he presented his phone to the others, "There's an image attached, but I'm not gonna look at it in case it's cursed. Any volunteers."
March and Tingyun immediately shuffled back.
Y/n raised a hand, "I'll do it! It'll be fun to fight a demon if one pops out of the phone to kill me!"
"My hero!" Caelus cried.
"The photo isn't cursed, Caelus, just open it." Welt sighed before reaching out a hand, "Here, I'll do it."
Caelus turned so fast he nearly gave himself whiplash, "Of course! Absolutely! Take my phone!"
Welt took the device and opened up the image, taking a close look at it for a moment, "It's just a photo of a building."
"It is?" y/n inquired as she peered at the photo, clinging to Welt's arm before her eyes lit up, "Oh! I know where that is! I spotted it a while ago!"
She turned away, pointing to a building which matched the one in the photo with the people gathered outside of it. There it was!
"So you were paying attention." Welt hummed and y/n gave him a cheeky grin as a starry eyed Caelus took his phone back and hugged it.
"I'm determined to at least get the job done, even if I half π it!" y/n declared before Tingyun looped her arm with her's, "Huh?"
"Well then, let's get going!" Tingyun declared.
"Ahβ butβ Mr. Yang!" y/n tried to protest as she was dragged away, "M-Miss Tingyun, just wait a second!"
The remaining three Trailblazers wandered after the Foxian lady and the devastated attack dog, making their way over to the building y/n had pointed out to them.
There, they found the individual meant to take them to Kafka's questioning. Although she seemed a bit... busy.
There were three players, accompanied by the individual who seemed to have sent them the message, and they were all playing a game.
The name popped into y/n's head almost instantly.
"Celestial Jade..." she mumbled before an odd feeling of irritation washed over her, "...I want to hit it with a hammer."
"Hurry up, Qingque! At this rate, we'll all be fossils by the time you're finished!" one of the players complained.
"I heard there was a disaster in the Divination Commission's delve." another chimed in, "I'm surprised you're in the mood to play right now, Qingque."
Qingque barely twitched a brow, "Even if the sky was gonna collapse on the Divination Commission, the Master Diviner would be there to hold it up. What she lacks in height, she more than makes up for in stamina."
Caelus and March gave her looks of shocked.
"Anyway, I didn't come here just to play β she ordered me to wait here for our guests." Qingque continued, "Time is precious! I'm simply multitasking."
"It's the place in the photo alright." March hummed as she looked between the building and the phone Caelus was holding as if it were a sacred object, "Is this... a games parlor!? What kind of problem can they possibly be facing?"
"Isn't this hand a problem? I have the worst luck..." Qingque grumbled before sparing the group a brief glance, "Hi there! I can tell just by looking at you that you're the Divination Commission's guests."
"Mm... yet you're here and not ready to take us to where we need to be." Caelus mumbled.
"I know, I know, I'm sorryβ" she didn't sound very sorry, "I was going to wait for you by the statue, butβ AH!β TRIPLET!"
Y/n gave the other players an inquisitive look as Qingque diverted their attention back to them once more, "βbut folks from the Realm-Keeping Commission descended on the area. It's too loud over there nowβ PASS! PASS!" y/n was actually quite interested in the game now despite the feeling of irritation it gave her, "So I thought to myself, wouldn't it be better to meet somewhere quieter? FOUR OF A KIND!"
"Quieter, huh?" Caelus commented in a wry tone.
"More fun, too! Better to show you the real Exalting Sanctum and introduce you to a true Xianzhou pastime: Celestial Jade." Qingque finished before whipping around and declaring, "VICTORY!"
The lady let out a breath of relief before turning back to the group, giving them her full undivided attention this time.
"Now that my wish has been fulfilled, there's nothing holding us back." she declared, "Follow me, honored guests."
As they all began to trail after the diviner, she did fill the silence with a, "I must apologize for your long wait, honored guests."
"It wasn't too long." Welt assured her with a smile, "Seeing your enthusiasm for this celestial Jade game has stoked my curiosity."
"MINE TOO!" Caelus and y/n shouted, causing March to slap her hands over her ears with a look of distress.
"I'm glad to hear it, you all clearly have excellent taste!" Qingque exclaimed with a look of glee, "If you're interested I can show you how to play. It's great fun!"
Y/n and Caelus gave Welt pleading looks which turned to one's of joy when the man replied, "Sure!"
March 7th frowned as they walked past a pavilion with a wonderful view of a not so wonderful tree, "Mr. Yang! Is this really the best time?" she turned her attention away from him and to the raggedy looking tree instead, "Oh! Caelus, y/n, look! Is that...?"
"It's an ancient tree." Tingyun answered for her, "We call it the Ambrosial Arbor. It was once the Xianzhou Luofu's prized treasure."
"Once?" y/n echoed.
"I didn't know the Sky-Faring Commission were history buffs! Not bad, younger generations usually don't know much about it." Qingque commented, earning puzzled looks from y/n, March, and Caelus, "It's said that the Ambrosial Arbor is an ancient remnant from when the Xianzhou roamed the ether. From a distance it looks like half a tree stump, but according to Records of the Early Nation, in its prime, it wound into the heavens, and from it celestial bodies hung!"
March looked at the others, then back at Qingque.
"Meaning...?"
"It means the tree was as tall as the sky and stars hung from its branches." Welt explained, "It's a metaphor."
"Oh..." March echoed as she glanced at the tree, "Sounds pretty, but... it doesn't look all that pretty now."
"Be glad it doesn't." y/n said and refuses to elaborate further when March gave her a little curious look.
"It sounds like an unimaginably magnificent tree." Caelus murmured as he stared at the tree with a little look of wonder.
"Exactly, let's just say it was bigger than your imagination." Qingque said as she continued walking, "Anyway, it's just a legend. I see this view every day on my way to work. I'm kinda bored of it. Let's go!"
The Diviner continued leading them all along until they finally reached the Divination Commission. Y/n was really getting tired of all this moving around... she needed some consistency in location.
"Just a heads up, please don't go running off once we're inside." Qingque announced before they could proceed any further, "You may be the Master Diviner's guests, but she hates people who don't abide by rules and regulations, ohβ and people who ask too many questions, not to mention..." she let out another sigh, "Please don't push her buttons."
Caelus pursed his lips as he was in the middle of raising a vase above his head to smash it. He looked at the base, then back at Qingque, "No promises." he dropped it.
"We're just here for the questioning." Welt assured Qingque as Caelus was collecting the rewards of his property damage, "We'll leave as soon as it's over."
They approached the gate to the Divination Commission and y/n began to take a look around it while Caelus trailed after her. (I still remember that "sucklong" comment and it's killing me π)
"...So strange." Qingque murmured as y/n grabbed Caelus by the collar of his jacket and said something to him, his expression changing a little after hearing what she had to say.
"Let me guess, the gate isn't working?" March inquired as Caelus knelt down so y/n could clamber onto his shoulders.
"I don't understand, it's never been locked before... And no one told me to take a key!" Qingque complained before raising her voice, "Hey! I know the food here sucks but that's no reason to shut the gate on our guests!"
March frowned a little as Caelus was tweeting a bit in the background with y/n standing on his shoulders, Tingyun taking notice and watching the two of them as her tail began to swish a little, "Are you really from the Divination Commission? Or maybe you were fired for slacking."
"No way! She's already demoted me to managing the repository. What else does she want from me?" Qingque demanded, "There's no need to panic, okay? This isn't the only entrance into the Divination Commission. I know an emergency access."
There was a yelp and all eyes turned to Caelus right as y/n's feet disappeared over the other side of the wall.
He gave them a nervous smile, "Hey."
A moment later, there was scuffling on the other side followed by a loud bang. Then another. Then another.
A dent was beginning to appear in the gate, getting bigger and bigger with each bang before the group decided it'd be smart to back out of the way.
Right as they hurried out of the gate's path, the doors came flying off, revealing y/n and her fistβ IT WAS STEAMING!
They all stared in silence before Qingque chimed, "Well! That's one way to do it! Let's go!"
They all wandered after the diviner, Caelus and y/n high-fiving one another before they finally reached their destination. The Matrix of Prescience.
A long π piece of dialogue later, plus a suggestion at going jewelry shopping with Welt, they were all on their way over to Fu Xuan.
As they approached, March and Caelus shuffled closer to y/n with a, "The hottie General is here."
The h/c haired woman gave them, Caelus in particular, a bewildered look, 'Loyal my π, you fake Mr. Yang fan. False Miss Himeko follower!'
Despite her irritation over Caelus's betrayal, she spared Jing Yuan another glance. She certainly had a lot to thank Mauve Moon for.
Mainly for killing her, definitely that.
While her past with the General still wasn't clear to y/n, she was aware of one... noβ two things now.
One, he was a very important person to her.
Was, before she died ___ different times until her brain decided to just drop the π© into storage so she wouldn't fall apart the moment she went two minutes without being in combat.
Two, he was also one of her main causes of stress.
Y/n came to that conclusion due to the gut wrenching urge to grab him by the hair and throw him into the sun which she got whenever she saw him.
He was pretty hot, though.
He had a bird's nest for hair, but he was hot.
"Diviner Fu, how are things progressing?" the man was saying as the group approached (the attack dog never misses dialogue).
"We're fluctuating between the heaven and thunder trigrams. A step forward bridges no distance hence." Fu Xuan replied and the General fell silent.
He looked elsewhere, then back at Fu Xuan.
"...and for those who don't speak Fu Xuan?" he tried and the Master Diviner blinked before heaving a sigh.
"Ahem... it's an utter disaster." she rephrased, "How's that for a Divination Commission fortune? The Matrix of Prescience has stopped operating and the symbols have dimmed. There are Stellaron spirits wreaking havoc inside the commission and the Cloud Knights are struggling to protect civilians. I want to restore the Matrix of Prescience but I have no forces available."
No forces? Look behind you. You've got an unkillable killing machine and a hydrogen bomb just a few meters away.
Fu Xuan wasn't done yet, "And on top of all that, General, we still have to deal with the Stellaron Hunter you handed to us. If that's not an utter disaster, then I don't know what is."
Despite this obvious bad news, Jing Yuan chuckled, "But you're Fu Xuan the Seer β the Boundless Omniscient! Bringing luck and avoiding misfortune is your strong suit, isn't it?"
The Master Diviner looked like she wanted to backhand the General. She couldn't quite reach, and the man was a hologram anyways, but y/n definitely would've helped her out if he wasn't.
"You don't need to flatter me, General. It's natural for fortune to fluctuate, there's no escaping it." the pink haired Diviner stated in a flat, unamused tone, lThe Divination Commission simply does its best to uncover the good and the bad and then make the right decisions. We have no magical means to turn the tide."
When does this dialogue end?
"And that is precisely why we need you in charge. When it comes to handling clairvoyant Stellaron Hunters, who better than Fu Xuan the Seer?" Jing Yuan continued before glancing at the approaching group, "As for reinforcements, you didn't think I'd be unprepared, did you? Look, help has just arrived."
"Master Diviner, I've brought you the guests, though... it wasn't your order I received." Qingque said sheepishly as her and the group of trailblazers arrived.
(QING AIR?! π)
Fu Xuan sighed before giving the hologram a look, "So, general... even guests are on the payroll these days?"
"Well, since they're here already, I may as well make use of them." Jing Yuan pointed out with an unbothered smile.
"Entering the Matrix of Prescience without my permission is a breach of protocolβ" Fu Xuan began before letting out another sigh, she seemed pretty tired? "...would be an ungracious thing to say in the present circumstances. I admit, I'm pleasantly surprised to see you here. Qingque is often unreliable, but she comes through for us when the need arises."
Y/n looked to see Qingque's reaction, but the woman didn't seemed bothered in the slightest. She was
