"I missed you too Emerald." He whispered.

"Why did you leave me?" I asked and he sighed. "I went to find our real parents." He said with his head on top of mine.

With his emphasis on 'real', I guess he was glaring daggers at the two people behind us.

You must be wondering what happened huh?

I recall when were younger, Aiden and I were two peas in a pod. You would never see one without the other. We did everything together. He was the best brother ever.

FLASHBACK #1 *No one's POV*

"5....4.....3....2...1.." Aiden counted. Baby Alicia giggled and clapped her hands as she ran away from her big brother. They were playing a game of hide n go seek. Alicia ran for a bit before tripping on a little sick and fell down.

She let out a cry when she noticed that her knee was bleeding a little. Aiden was by her side in an instant.

He noticed the blood on her knee. "Wait here." He said before heading inside. Seconds later, he returned with a little piece of cloth that he wrapped around her knee.

Then he pulled her up. "Are you okay?" He asked and she nodded. "Let's go inside." He said taking her hand and walking toward the front door.

FLASHBACK #2 *No one's POV*

Two years later, the siblings had began Kindergarten and attended the same school. 3 year old Alicia sat in a little corner using her building blocks to make a castle.

Suddenly, a girl walked up to her and knocked over every single piece. Alicia looked up with tears in her eyes. She worked so hard on that.

"What did you do that for?" She questioned and the girl laughed. "You're a weirdo. I mean, look at your hair. You are not welcome in my friendship circle." She said and Alicia looked down as tears slowly flowed down her cheek.

"Leave her alone!" Aiden's voice came from behind her.

"She doesn't want to be in your stupid circle now apologize to her." He demanded with a hard glare. The girl huffed out an 'Fine. I'm sorry' then walked away while he kneeled in front of his little sister.

"Don't cry emerald." He said lifting up her chin. "Don't worry. I'll help you rebuild it." He smiled causing her to smile.

"Really? What about your friends?" She questioned glancing behind him. "Don't worry. They'll join us." Aiden said before waving his friends over. Together, they built Alicia's block castle from scratch.

*FLASHBACKS OVER*

Then I turned 13 and never saw him again.

I asked my parents what had happened to him and they claimed that Aiden was adopted and his real parents wanted him back.

I didn't want to be nosy so I didn't ask any questions.

I wish I did.

They made me forget about him.

Now he was back.

We're sticking together this time.

"Honey.." Renee or my 'mom' said from behind me and I scoffed. "Don't call me that."

She gulped.

"Alicia..You're going to be late for school.." She finished.

'Oh right..school..'

"Do I have to?" I groaned into my brother's chest. He laughed. "Go. I'll be back later." He said and we pulled away. "See ya." Aiden kissed my forehead before walking out the door.

I turned to my "parents". I shook my head at their faces.

"Sweetie-" Michael, my 'dad' tried to say but I held up my hand to pause him. "Please don't." I said then made my way up to my room for a shower.

*45 MINUTES LATER*

"'Alicia! Ali!!" I came back to Earth to Addison shaking me. "What's up with you?" You've been out of it for 2 minutes." She said worriedly.

"It's fine Addy." I said reassuringly but she wasn't phased. "My brother came home yesterday and I learned that I was adopted." I confessed shrugging my shoulders.

"Oh I'm sorry." She apologized but I waved her off. "There's nothing for you to be sorry for." We walked towards the auditorium.

We sat up near the front, waiting for the announcements to start. Everyone was talking wondering if there's even going to be anyone to run against Bucky.

Bucky soon got up and did his whole entrance thingy as the whole cheer team applauded and cheered like we were suppose to.

The next thing we knew, Zed came rolling down the seats causing everyone but Bucky to stop cheering. "I meant to do that." He said causing us to laugh. "But I'm going to be running for president." He announced with a huge smile on his face.

Before anyone could utter a word, Eliza was up on her feet cheering. "ZED FOR PREZ!" She yelled and others joined her so did Addison and I. Meanwhile Bucky looked like a bombshell had been dropped on him.

When the room fell silent, Zed began to emphasize his points to get people to vote for him.

"As you president, I will make Seabrook a place accepts zombies and-" He was interrupted by Bree. "Werewolves?" She yelped, pointing at the double doors.

"Uh, no, why would we want- Werewolves!" He yelled also. We glanced behind us and a pack of werewolves burst through the doors.

People screamed hurdling together away from them. "There she is!" A girl said. She had dark brown, curly hair with a strip of white hanging by the side of her face.

I noticed she was the same girl Addison and I encountered in the forbidden forest. Zed yelled something causing the football team to all stand in front of us.

"Where's the moonstone white hair?" She yelled again. I looked at Addison to see which one on us she was referring to.

A handsome male wolf walked up and stood beside her. He had brown hair with white bangs. He pointed at me. "You." His voice sounded strangely familiar but I couldn't place my finger on why. I gulped.

Then another female with lighter brown hair and a similar streak of white, some of her hair was packed up in 2 little buns making her look adorable. "Our razor-sharp claws will gut em' our and splatter their blood." She yelled.

Everyone shrieked back in fear but the wolves just looked at her. "Too much?" She asked and they nodded.

Then the girl from the woods turned back to us. "Wolves! On my command!" She yelled. The eyes of the werewolves glowed gold and so did their necklaces as they growled, baring their fangs to look intimidating. I don't know what got into me but I stepped up in front of everyone.

"It's me you want. Leave them out of this!" I glared at the girl who I assumed was the leader.

'What the fuck am I doing?' I thought

"Willa, we can't go to with the whole town. We'll never find the moonstone if they're on high alert." He whispered but I heard him. Strange.

"I hate it when you're right." She mumbled. "Wolves! Stand down!' She barked over her shoulder. Their eyes and necklaces stopped glowing but Willa, I assume was her name, glared back at me then growled.

I growled back with a glare of my own.

My action caused her to raise her eyebrow with a smirk.

I guess no one's ever challenged her huh.

"Why are you here?" I turned my gaze to the boy with white bangs. We stared at each other for a while. I couldn't help but admire his face and get lost in his eyes.

Our little moment was ruined by Willa elbowing his sides, gesturing him to speak. 'Right.' He muttered recovering from his trance and I smiled.

"We werewolves so admire your town and we've decided to..join your school.' She declared.

Instantly, voices mumbled different conversations behind me. "They can't join our school." Bucky yelled. "Technically, the forbidden forest is within the school district." Coach cut in.

"So..Welcome to Seabrook!" Addison announced with a wave of her pom-poms.

'What?' I glanced at Zed to see the shocked expression on his face as he looked at his girlfriend.

Then I turned back to the wolves who gave me a smile revealing their fangs. The werewolf boy just winked at me.

There's the feeling again..

*TIME SKIP TO THE END OF SCHOOL*

Today was a weird school day.

During cheer practice, I learned that werewolf boy was the guy I had bumped into yesterday when he called me angel. He told me his name was Wyatt. A cute name for a cute guy.

He also told me that I was a leader..We had a little moment but what did he mean by that? What's so special about me?

I thought as I walked back home.

I opened the door to see Aiden sitting on the sofa. "Oh hey." He said with a smile.

I gave him one back before rushing to hug him. "Easy emerald." He laughed. "Pardon me for wanting to replace the hugs you missed for 2 years." I teased with a smirk. "How was school?" He asked. "Eh crazy." I shrugged.

I was going to tell him about the wolves later.

"Well since Renee and Michael are out, you wanna meet our real mother?" He asked.

I nodded so much that my head would come off if it wasn't attached to my body.

"Mom lives in Seabrook?" I questioned. He nodded.

"Yeah. We moved here to get away from the judgmental people in New Orleans. They would always ask why she had the white hair, blah,blah, blah." He said as I processed the information.

He looked at me then smiled. "You look exactly like her."

"I want to meet her." I said.

"Okay. Let's go?" He got up and offered his hand.

I took it and got off the sofa. I placed my backpack on it then took out my house key.

We walked out of the house and I locked the door behind us.

Aiden wrapped his arms around my shoulder and I smiled.

I missed him so much.

He leads me some houses away and I marvel at the sight.

"Wait till we get inside." He smirked at my face.

He opened the door then we walk into an even greater sight.

"Wow." I said looking around as he chuckles. "This is your home too. Have a seat. I'll go get her." He said and I nodded, sitting on the couch.

A minute passed by and all I did was admire the place.

'Mom must be super rich.' I contemplated.

Incoming footsteps knocked me out of my thoughts as I looked up to see her.

She looked flabbergasted. She covered her mouth with her hands glancing at Aiden then back at me.

Tears were gathering at the brim of my eyes.

My brother was right.

I was a carbon copy of her.

The same hair, and eye color..

She was absolutely gorgeous with her snow white hair.

"Mom." I mumbled running into her arms that were wide open.

"I missed you so much baby." She whispered with a sob.

I cried on her shoulders.

"I missed you too Mom."

Aiden soon joined in the hug.

"It's good to have you back emerald." He said.

After all these years,

This was where I belong.

This felt right.

I was finally home.

And I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.
