ZINLESTER'S POV

Scrunching my face as a light groan escaped my lips, I slowly opened my eyes and my vision immediately traveled to the presence that I feel around my waist.

As soon as it hit me, redness quickly grew on my face with my eyes widening. My grogginess faded away and I was now completely awake. (that was a rhyme) Slowly, I turned my head backwards only to see Aguero nuzzling his face onto the back of my neck and breathing heavily in his deep slumber.

I studied his expression as he continued to sleep quietly. His long soft blue strands of hairs slightly covering his face, giving him a very cozy image. Nuzzling onto my nape and even rubbing his face onto it, I can feel his lashes tickling my neck.

My shyness faded away as butterflies then began to fill my stomach. I can feel warmth spreading throughout my entire body, now questioning if it's because of Aguero and I's body warmth together or the fact that Aguero's presence is enough to warm my entire being including my heart.

I probably sound so cheesy, but could you really blame me? This isn't what I'm used to feeling in my daily life.

Flashbacks then flooded my mind. I can briefly remember last night all of us had a drink last night. A small celebration for our success of safely leaving the Workshop Battle (also winning it), as well as our reunion. After all, it has been years since the old crew were together, and now we are united with a bunch of new people as well which is pretty wholesome and cool but also pretty bothersome. Many people = many human interactions.

I took a few drinks here and there (we drank soju), also by the way discovering that my tolerance when it comes to alcohol has improved. I remember back then when we drank in Hoh's funeral, 3-5 shots were my limit. Fortunately, last night I discovered that it increased to 5-8. Although I would still highly prefer to drink chocolate milk over everything, I don't want to be an entire kill joy to the rest by not drinking alcohol with them.

After all the things that had occurred, I think I, everyone, especially Bam, deserves a long lasting rest.

Boldness took over me as I slowly swirled my body to face Aguero, my face was now facing his. A smile crept onto my face before I continue my intention onto burying my face onto the Son of Khun's chest. I felt Khun's nose then landing on top of my head and thus continued to nuzzle there.

It feels weird to say the least. Yesterday I was down after the interrogation I had with my brother who suddenly appeared out of nowhere, Zen. The information I got from him continued to bother me even last night when I was under the influence of alcohol.

I can briefly remember Aguero almost getting drunk again as I forced him to go to bed to which he complied, in exchange of me sleeping with him though. Of course I couldn't forget Zon lecturing me before I took the blue haired man to the bedroom, telling me to brush my teeth before going to bed and to change my clothes, comb my hair and to pray to god despite me being an atheist (a/n: lol im just joking pls don't mind me). He also added that I make sure that when Aguero and I sleep, our bodies must be facing the opposite sides and we are must be a meter apart, social distancing at its finest.

His hilariously obnoxious antics caused me to slightly forget about my sad emotions.

At the corner of my eye I saw Bam slowly getting up and formed into a sitting position. He took a glance at me and was slightly surprised at the situation I was in. I gestured my brows moving them up and down and Bam just giggled at my antic, which caused me to form a closed eye smile.

Seeing as I quite enjoyed the position I was in, the brunette motioned that he was going out of the bedroom to which I responded with a nod of assurance. He left and the sound of Rak's snore continued to wrap the room.

Sooner or later I felt Aguero shift in his sleep, a low groan left his lips. I watched as he slowly fluttered his eyelashes, opening his eyes and me internally fangirling and mushing on how adorable he looked in his groggy state.

I cannot believe that I'd let myself be this low. To think that I am fangirling over a man is embarrassing.

Well, to be fair it's Khun Aguero Agnes so I'm guessing it's fine.

The blue haired man blinked his eyes repeatedly before then looking down and then took in my presence. A blush formed on his pale cheeks as soon as he realized our position.

(A/N: I have this headcannon that Khun gets pretty shy when he's around the person he likes. Although he does like flirting, when he's unprepared he gets all fidgety because he's afraid he'll fuck things up considering he's such an organized and well-planned type of person who wants everything to be managed. Especially on his looks I think he's very self-conscious about that, I've always thought that he's mindful of the way he looks and does a lot of effort to look presentable. I also portrayed him in my head freaking out whenever he gets a pimple, also him whining about his hair getting ruined lmao.)

I giggled as I see him act all shy and stuff. "Good morning." I gave him a wide grin.

He then calmed down a bit as he returned the greeting. "Good morning..." he replied before then mustering up a smile.

"Did you sleep well?" I then asked him to which he replied with a low hum.

"Mhm."

"You better did. After squeezing me a whole night? You're lucky I didn't give you a horse kick."

"Your kick would probably be more painless than a mosquito bite so it doesn't matter. A flick of my finger would've probably hurt more."

"Are you underestimating my strength?"

"No, actually I entirely acknowledge how strong you are. I'm just simply implying that I am stronger than you." He lightly smirked before sticking out a tongue at me.

An irk mark formed on my head.

"This is why I don't like you at all!!" I fired at him and tried to get up with a pouty face.

Laughing, Aguero only held me tighter and pulled me back onto the bed on his side. "You're such a liar, Zin. Good girls shouldn't lie dummy."

"I'm not a good girl in the first place asshole."

"Then I'll make you one. Do you want to be my good girl Zin?" The man teased me while giving me the most eat shitting grin I've ever seen in my life.

Unable to hold back, I blushed hard at his words. "Why do you make it sound perverted?!"

And by tackled I meant him slamming his entire body down onto us which caused for Aguero and I to receive extreme stomach pain.

"LOVE-DOVEY TURTLES STOP FLIRTING IN THE MORNING!!! I AM SLEEPING YOU BASTARDS GET YOUR ASSESS OUTSIDE IF YOU WANT TO COTINUE MAKING CRINGEWORTHY SCENES FOR THE READERS!! THIS STUPID FANFICTION I SWEAR—PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!!"

"Let me remind you that you are not a human being, you're a crocodile—"

"How many times do I have to tell you that I am NOT a CROCODILE?!?!!! I AM RAK WRAITHRAIS—"

"OKAY WE GET IT!"

As a result, Aguero and I ended up spying on Bam and Endorsi's date despite being against our will. We were dragged by Rak and was joined by the daughter of Yeon named Ehwa and a spoiled brat Prince.

I had a deadpanned expression as I watched the three idiots spy on Bam and Endorsi. What I'm witnessing is pure bullshit and it's annoying, fortunately I'm not alone for Aguero stood beside me both of us looking inexpressive but passively annoyed.

Sweat dripped from the sided of Rak's face. "G-Googly eyes was targeting the Black turtle...she is scary."

"What's scary is that you guys are invading their privacy." I interfered as I crossed my arms, remaining expressionless.

"Spying on others' lives? You guys are the worst." Aguero interfered with me as well.

"We aren't spying on him!! We are just watching over him!!!" All three of them denied our accusations. "That weird Googly eyes is trying to take the Black turtle away!! Do something about it."

Thinking, I hummed. "Do you want me to record a video of you taking a shit? I'll gladly post it on OnlyFans so you'll know what it feels like when people butt into your life unwantedly."

"Hey blue dude! I want a date with the princess!" Prince demanded the Son of Khun.

Aguero only remained silent for a short period of time before responding. "You're pathetic." I let out a scoff, slightly amused by the blue head's respond.

"Good luck watching over him then. We have things to take care so bye." He turned his back on them and my eyes followed him. Catching me off guard in a slight, Aguero took a hold of my hand and quietly pulled me with him to which I complied silently.

"You nasty Blue turtle—now you're planning to steal Pale turtle like what Googly eyed turtle did to the Black turtle!!?!?!" Rak yelled back at us in a distance.

Aguero lead us to a certain café in the shopping district where we met up with Novick, and Ran who were already at a table. Novick shared his insight on what he thought about Bam going on a date with Endorsi. Openly expressing his fascination that the brunette is incredible for being able to have a date with a Princess of Jahad.

Novick then brought up the topic on what they are going to do now after the unfortunate event that happened to our Team. I talked to Dan yesterday and he told me what happened, that Gyetang had passed away and that Rachel was the sole reason why his legs are now damaged and lost its usual speed. Dan also told me that it was Rachel who called for FUG, wanting them to kill Aguero.

Just thinking about it angers me. Not only is she selfish, but also very idiotic. I just don't understand her intentions at all, we were once willing to help her but for some reason she decided to kill us? We really need to find her, not only for revenge but to also gain information.

Because of what she's doing, there certainly must be a heavy reason for her actions. However, whatever her reasons are, we'll make sure that she will still be held accountable.

"Spare Team?" Novick questioned Aguero's words.

The Son of Khun nodded before continuing. "We are going to split up into two Teams, and go up the Tower. While going up, we can help each other when needed, exchange members and information, etcetera." He stated.

"For now, the Team Bam and I are in will be the Main Team. But you will be in charge of important work. Find Rachel and her comrades....and eliminating them."

Breathing out heavily, I huffed and leaned back on my seat with a heavy thought.

I then interfered which caused for the three males to look towards my direction. "Well, that's a reasonable idea," I began then turned to Aguero with an anticipating expression. "But Novick's Team lacks members. How are we supposed to find members in a short period of time? Especially now that FUG's onto our tail..." I trailed off.

Aguero only gave me a smile. "I already found some with good skills."

"Yo!"

My eyes widened as a grin formed on my lips. "Yooo!! Dan!!" I gleefully greeted back.

Dan walked up to us and waved enthusiastically. My eyes then moved to the bunny girl, Xiaxia. Her head was held down low as if trying to avoid making eye contact. I tilted my head to the side and formed a puzzled look. I was confused on why she's acting like this considering that she's kind of bossy all the time. Even though she was from FUG, its not like we're going to hate her after all I found out that she did it for money to help her other fellow bunny person whatever. So why in the fuc—

'Oh right. Because I said that I don't want to be friends with her.'

I sweatdropped.

'Well, it was because I was scared that she might betray me just like what almost everybody did. I was scared to be close with a new person. Especially now that I know the true reason behind me being the so-called chosen one...'

Heavily, I sighed.

Whatever. I'm not against on her being on the Team, I trust Aguero's judgement. Besides, what can a bunny do?

Sooner or later, our little meeting has ended. Dan stretched out. "Ahhh~!! It's so nice that we're all finally going to take a break after all that happened."

I decided that I will be a bitch and kill his fun. "Don't take it for granted. We just discussed that y'all are going to be giving the important task once we continue climbing again." Secretly I smirked.

Dan's shoulders slumped as he gave me a pouty look. "Such a downer..."

KHUN'S POV

Silently, I watched the two females only present in out meeting try to avoid each other. I don't know much about how a girl acts, but I know when they are getting beefy or some sorts and sometimes uncomfortable. I'm not uneducated.

I saw how Zin sighed heavily earlier and I immediately knew that something was up. However, I don't know what that something was, but I won't try to pester about it. But I think this would be a good development for Zin. She has always been hesitant in regards to meeting new people, although it had improved this past years, she still needs a little bit more improvement. She's just too cautious in things like this, I know because I am a cautious person myself hate to admit it but I am.

All in all, Zin just really need to be more open. Having connections does not only mean having back-ups or stronger power, it can also be beautiful memories and strong bonds

With my hands stuffed in my pockets, I stood up from my seat which caught everybody's attention. "Novick, Ran, Dan, let's go outside first. I need to tell you something."

The three men slowly stood up but just then, Zin's voice interrupted and exclaimed. "Ehhh??! Why only you guys???"

"Shut up, we are going to have a conversation for men and men only. You don't have a dick so you don't count." I gave her a sly smirk. Then I gestured for the other males with motion of my head to go to the exit. Actually I don't have anything to discuss with them, but....

Endorsi and Bam's date came into my mind. An interesting idea popped up in my head as I began to think about different...topics. I lowly hummed to myself in anticipation.

'Maybe.....we could too....?'

As we exited the café, I heard Zin retort back at me with a yell. "This is discrimination!!!"

I rolled my eyes at her statement with a small grin of khunningness.

Once we have fully exited the café, Ran immediately faced me with his usual poker-face before questioning. "What is it that only us with dicks have to discuss? Zin is going to throw a tantrum again."

Novick released a sigh, and Dan released a sweat as it dripped down on his temple. Probably because of Ran's vulgar words.

"You Khuns are really a bunch of dickheads..." Dan muttered as he deadpanned.

Ignoring his comment, my eyes one by one darted on each and one of them. I was playing with my fingers that were on my back and bounced my leg, I was feeling quite agitated and was perhaps....nervous.

'This is stupid.'

Another sigh escaped my lips and then I decided to just go with no regrets. I could feel heat rising up to my cheeks as I stared at the three of them dead in the eyes, before then asking:

"How do you ask a girl on a date?"

THIRD PERSON POV

Clenching her folded hands, Zin gulped as she continued to look down trying to avoid Xiaxia.

She was anxious to say the least. Zin had thought about the words she said to her and she felt bad for the things she said. She didn't mean to hurt her, but she unintentionally did.

The girl was just....afraid. Xiaxia completely reminded her of her once treasured friend Zylo who in the end, betrayed her as well.

Deeply thinking, Zin still felt guilty even though it's not a big deal, she doesn't want to carry this feeling forever. Sighing, she lifted her head up and faced the bunny girl. "Hey, I'm sorry."

Flustered, the bunny girl was flabbergasted, caught off guard by the sudden apology. "W-What the hell are you suddenly sorry for?!" She tried to cover herself up by acting like a tsundere but immediately failing at doing so.

Zin's eyes traveled down staring at her hands folded together. "At that time I wasn't really thinking straight. And I was scared that, you're not the person that you try to portray to be," I confessed making sure to make my words clear and understandable. "I'm not confident when it comes to relationships or friendships, especially if it's a new one. But if I want to change and become stronger, I know that I have to overcome this fear of mine, the fear of trust and risk of being betrayed."

"Because if I continue to be like this, it just proves that I am still incapable of becoming the person I want to be. The person that will live for herself, not for her family's honor, the public's desire, and the people's wishes of who they want me to be."

"I will be free. I will be tied no more. I wasn't born to please others, I was born to make my dreams come true."
