It was Min Hyung's seventh birthday. 

Everyone was busy preparing for his celebration. Their mother was cooking in the kitchen with Saemi when their father had a call from the company.

"Who was it, honey?" Sae Hee asks her husband who's standing in the entrance of their kitchen while Min Hyung is playing with his friends at the playground just outside their house.

"It's Hae Kyeong. The CEO of Headstring's about to sue the company." Headstring is one the partners of ChinHan Inc. for seven years and and this action might just be a big blow for ChinHan Inc.

"I'll be back before the party." Min Jae kissed his wife on the lips and peck on Saemi's forehead before leaving the kitchen in a hurried pace.

"Eomma! Where's Appa?" The seven-year-old Min Hyung asks as he blows the candle placed on his birthday cake, wearing his hat. Sae Hee warmly smiled at her son and replied, "He's on his way home, sweetheart."

But the truth is, she doesn't know where on Earth her husband is. She hasn't received any texts or calls from him since he left and she was starting to worry. She's worried that Min Jae could have been facing the bars of the dungeon for whatever the Headstring could pull off doing.

Everybody was present. Sae Hee's mother was there to celebrate with them. Min Jae's parents are in Toronto and they couldn't get back home because of their health conditions and their old age. Their friends and neighbors were there except Min Hyung's dad.

While Sae Hee occupied the children with the food and with the companion of the other kids, she went to the kitchen to check on her husband. She was about to give a call when she received one from Min Jae's secretary, Hae Kyeong.

"Sae Hee, Min Jae got into an accident."

Dongyoon has been religiously sending the bouquet of flowers for Saemi. He knows that the man he met in the house he drove Saemi to was Byun Baekhyun. Of course, he would know. That guy is famous worldwide.

Before he had dropped Saemi off to that house, he has already known the agreement between the Byun's and Saemi's father. They were just arranged. He knows he still has a chance to get Saemi back since he also is an heir to a known business company that could help Mr. Eun.

But the spark in Baekhyun's eyes on that night made Dongyoon hint that there's something going on between Baekhyun and Saemi. He's sensing that Baekhyun has already feelings for the woman he's aiming.

From then on, he knew that there was a competition.

He was planning on picking up Saemi from where she was staying when he received a text.

Jaehyun

JangDo, Saemi's in the hospital. Kwangdong Hospital

He got a text message from his long time friend and immediately went to the hospital Jaehyun mentioned. His heart is beating fast. His knuckles turning white as he grips the steering wheel tight. He was prepared to kill Baekhyun with his hands if ever he knew that Baekhyun did something to Saemi.

When he arrived at the hospital, he came accross Mr. Eun who didn't notice him. Dongyoon walked towards the man and when Hae Kyeong noticed him, he instantly smiled.

"Hello, Mr. Eun." Dongyoon smiled to give a good impression from the last time he saw the man.

"Is that you, Dongyoon? It's nice to see you again." They shook hands.

"It's good to see you too, sir."

"Did you come to pay a visit to Saemi?" Hae Kyeong asks the younger who nodded as reply.

"Yes. Is she alright now, sir?"

"Yes. She's all fine. It's not the first time she went through a surgery so it's not of a big deal anymore." Dongyoon's ears rang at the last thing the older said. It's not the first time?

He was already getting a clue of what might just be the relationship between Saemi and her father. 

Why does it seem like Mr. Eun's not worried for his own daughter?

"I better get going, son. I still have a meeting to attend to." Dongyoon nodded at him and smiled before they bid their goodbyes. He asked for the room number of Saemi at the receiving area and immediately went to where he was told.

When he entered the room, he saw Baekhyun with a familiar face with him who looks younger than them.

"What are you doing here?" Baekhyun said with knitted brows as he stands up. Dongyoon meet his gaze and formally smiled.

"I'm just trying to pay a visit," he said and went to go near Saemi but Baekhyun blocked his way.

Baekhyun was aware that this guy who just entered the room is the one sending flowers to his fiancée. And he can't wait to strangle him to death.

Min Hyung watched how the two men exchanged glares to each other as if he's enjoying a boxing match.

"I don't see why you should even visit her, mister. The last time I checked, you're the one who cheated on my fiancée."

It took a while for Min Hyung to process what he just heard. This guy here cheated on my sister? He narrowed his eyes on Dongyoon.

"And the last time I checked, that's none of your business." Dongyoon retorted.

"I'm sorry, maybe you weren't informed that my wife's issues are my business too. You are not a healthy specie who can help my wife. So, I insist that you take your step out of this room and scurry off."

Min Hyung's jaw dropped at Baekhyun's words. Ahuh. And the last time I checked, you're not even married yet. But you call Noona your wife confidently.

Dongyoon smiled at Baekhyun and held him by the shoulder that Baekhyun tried to pry off.

"You're not the boss here."

"And I suppose you won't volunteer to be one. So, I'll take the title then. Shoo."
