FOR GODS SAKE...it was all Visenya could think
as she heard the unmistakable roar. What ever could the bastard prince be laying here for? Why must the gods forsake her with such a bad omen? The Green Princess asked herself as she was escorted by Arryn's foot soldiers into the Eyrie.

Visenya had never visited the Eyrie, so her eyes tried to silently take the tall stone walls and the doors for potential exits in case she needed to leave as fast as possible. Once she reached the High Hall, where audiences took place in the Vale.

"Princess Visenya II Targaryen." The soldier announced and Jeyne smiled promptly, expecting the girl through weeks prior. Prince Jacaerys stood by the side of Jeyne's high chair, his hands behind his back as he stood regal as ever. His jaw locked upon the mention of the princess, his muscles tensed in surprise and the slightest fear and anticipation. Once the princess appeared from behind the soldiers back, Jacaerys opened his mouth slightly upon the sight of the beauty that laid in front of him.

Regal as ever, beautiful as the people proclaimed throughout the realm. And behind her silver locks there was the slightest hint of a scar caused by that fateful night in Driftmark. Jacaerys had almost forgotten how the girl brought out the worst side of him.

"Princess Visenya." Jeyne stood up, bowing before her superior. "I hope the journey was safe and enjoyable." The older woman smiled.

Visenya smiled sweetly as well, "it was safe and most wonderful to see a different part of the Realm. I am most grateful of your kindness, Lady Jeyne."
A farse, Jacaerys thought. Visenya was like a on and off flame, an actress of big talent.
"Prince Jacaerys." She curtised her nephew as well, though with much annoyance.

"Princess," Jacaerys cleared his throat, bowing his head slightly.

"Ah, yes!" Jeyne brought attention to herself, "Prince Jacaerys is touring the realm as well, I was surprised to find you did not come together."

"So am I, I was unaware of my nephew's agenda." Visenya looked at Jace with daggers in her eyes. There was a tension in the silence of the room, unbeknownst to only the royals that sat there. Jeyne furrowed her eyebrows with a slight grin.

"It's been a long journey, you two should rest well." Jeyne smiled as she saw her companion, Jessamyn Redfort in the threshold of the High Hall. The redheaded woman smiled and walked away, leaving Jeyne wishing for more.
"Shall we rejoin for supper?" Jeyne smiled, wanting to hurry off and join Jessamyn.

Once the Prince and the Princess left Jeyne's High Hall, Jacaerys was quick to be reminded that Visenya had not changed at all. She was still the arrogant little girl who'd argue with him for no reason.

"You've followed me!" She accused as she walked behind him.

"No, I did not followed you here. I would rather follow a path leading to my death rather than you." Jacaerys rolled his eyes and the princess scoffed.

"How did you know I'd be here then?"

"I did not come for you!" Jacaerys said loudly, realizing his attitude, he sighed. "I am simply on a tour around Westeros by the order of my mother. I am heir to the throne, I have duties and relationships to make. I don't know what you do here, though."

"I am on a tour." Visenya frowned.

"And what is the path of your tour, so we can stray away as soon as the week reaches its end?"

"I'd rather not tell you, lest you decide to follow me once more, my prince." Visenya spat the word with hatred, before turning her heel and walking away.
Jacaerys in turn scoffed. The week would be a long one.

Once the royals and those of House Arryn joined together for a welcoming feast, the news of the prince and the princess reached the entire Vale. And soon enough, nobles and noble ladies around the Vale were soon to gather their most expensive gifts to gain favor for the crown.

The night was long, and the presence of the rival Targaryens it all made it the more awkward as they spat out insults in the form of toasts and compliments, seething their teeths and clenching their jaws.

"Have there been any moves in your betrothal with Prince Aegon, Princess?" A  older lord questioned with a interested air. Jacaerys grew interested in the topic, raising his brow as he looked expectantly to Visenya.

Visenya cleared her throat, nearling choking on her goose. "Prince Aegon and I will marry when the time is right." She did not want to marry Aegon, he was her brother; a lazy, drunkard who spent majority of his days sleeping and his nights in gods know where.
Aegon was tolerated by the family, the greens tolerated themselvesโ€”whatever love they had for each other was weak.

"What about you, my prince?" The young lady of House Hunter questioned with a stupid grin in her face, blinking provocately in a way that made Visenya slightly scrunch up her face and look the other way.

Jacaerys nearly spat his drink, "There have been no betrothals made." He said sternly, his eyes silently observing Visenya. Whatever could she be so bothered for?
